Refusing to acknowledge the negativity of the FACTS of this case and insulating inside the cocoon of only Jodi is innocent and Free Jodi sites, no doubt Jodi's parents were shocked by the TRUTH they suddenly faced. Their daughter is a brutal butcher who will kill again if ever released from prison.

What ever happened to the motion Arias attempted to speak to at the beginning of this debacle? Remember when Juan shut her down as she was not representing herself anymore, and JSS mentioned it was to be addressed by another judge? Was that yet another secret issue?

Exactly. She said a lot of things prior to testimony that contradict what she is saying now, out of respect for Travis's memory, of course. She also said his only weapons were his fists but is now claiming he owned a gun. The only reason she said it was always consensual on cross was because she was busy giggling about the text messages and battling Juan and she got tripped up.

Well, I can empathize with the juror running late. While serving on a death penalty trial I was late for court one morning. I was caught in a traffic jam when the Bridge got stuck in the up position for an hour. I called ahead and gave updates every few minutes. I was told that I could park in the reserved spaces for judges under the courthouse as soon as I could arrive. Jurors were waiting in the juror room and as soon as I arrived, court began. Things happen that aren't under your control sometimes.

True. Plus for all we know the juror made the court aware of the appt beforehand and went to their appt with the courts permission.

If she is the secret witness, then this could be the main reason she wanted this hidden from the public. Perhaps she has been told how most people feel she failed miserably on the stand and Juan tore her to shreds. Perhaps she is finally realizing that she is not so loved by the public like she may have thought at one time.

It does make you wonder if she was isolated and filtered from reality during the time of those early post 1st trial interviews and she could have had a very wrong understanding of what people really thought of her. With her arrogance, I can see her making that mistake.

Someone finally told her the truth.

I've been wondering what pearls of wisdom the last jury foreman has shared with the defense team. Hard to tell if he wouldn't still believe it's worth her yakking away for another 18 days because it sure worked on him.

I used to defend the judge and KN, however all this is over the top. I also think it is Arias that is the secret witness. Seems like something new is coming in and she's the one that has to do it. Also to me it seems like Nurmi is not doing all this so Arias can have a fair trial but so his reputation will not be scrutinized. If Arias insists that new evidence come in say like that forged letters, he knows that they are forged(in his heart if he has one)she is adamant, can he say no or does he have to bring them in and deal with it. Whatever is coming in he already said he and JW would be scrutinized for years. He actually hasn't said anything new is coming in.

Jodi had some serious personality flaws which I'm sure did not change once she was locked up. The flaws would intensify in the close inescapable confines of prison. She's thrown together with people not of her choosing and cannot leave on one of her road trips. There's no place to hide.

I've never heard about it before, but certainly I've had experiences with other judges in Maricopa County Superior Court who seem unclear about the right of the public to attend court hearings.

AZL, not sure if you saw my previous post about possiblity of JA claiming to be a rape victim and afforded the rights of a closed hearing under that premise . . . any thoughts?

Since we know they read here is it really necessary or smart to continue to give them ideas? Unless you want to make this thread secret.
