This is a good refresher. "God can't be subpoenaed" is one of my faves. :lol:Actually, I'd love to see her on the stand, answering JM's questions.

Jodi has been in jail for quite awhile and very likely on meds such as anti-psychotics, mood stabilizers which would tame her down.Just, IMO, but from what I saw on review of the timeline, the first media tweet wondering if JA was testifying was about 15 min. prior to the PIO's first announcement about closing the courtroom (Jen's). Several others posted similar guesses while watching the sidebars, chamber conferences, etc. that were going on. Recess wasn't called until about an hour after the 1st announcement, so this Justus person had over an hour of hearing speculation, etc. before posting, at the earliest. According to one media report, speculation about it ramped up even more while everyone was in the hallway. IMO, this Justus is just another one of the JA supporters who wants to be seen w/inside info, and who takes other's tweets and twists them to JA's advantage. I think they actually believe this is PR work they do for her benefit, but how it actually helps her is a mystery to me. Maybe it sells artwork and bracelets?
While I have my skeptic's hat on, Troy Hayden may have received good info, but I'm still waiting to hear confirmation that JA did indeed testify and caused JSS to close the courtroom. Reporters have been duped before, it's possible, and maybe even planned. As poorly as I think she has conducted this trial, I just can't see any logical reason for JSS going to this extreme for JA. JA clearly loved being the center of attention while she was on the stand last trial, and courts the media whenever she can - that's not the reluctant witness that I'd think a judge would believe had suddenly become shy and fearful. May very well be wrong about all of it, but this is just my thinking for now.

I think everyone just wants this case over and done with and JSS calked her and her DTs bluff. Another judge can deal with the media blackout issue.
The first leak by Justus that she was testifying, was posted at 12:57pm on a website....does anyone know what timezone that time reflects? Was it AZ time???
I think it's time to see a motion from the State accusing DT misconduct!

Yes, PST and ?Mountain Time (what Arizona is on) were the same until last night. PST just got off Daylight Savings time at midnight, so now we are one hour behind AZ here in CA.2nd reply: Wait! I now think that would have been AZ time, or the equivalent. My guess is that the site reflects Pacific Time, and since AZ doesn't do daylight savings, it would have been the same time.
:blushing:
Not that it matters much. I think this person is a red herring. It's just more speculation from a "fan."
The "politics" and drama in the courtroom should not sway a good jury.
They should just stick to the facts, and no matter what BS Jodi comes with at this point is too late. She has lied under oath and will continue to given the chance.
A random thought came through my head. Maybe Jodi asked for her family to be removed because she will confess she stole the gun?
I truly don't understand how JA supporters could hate the Alexander family. Do they not realize the case belongs to the State of AZ? And what did the family do to Arias that she didn't do to herself? It's so irrational. I could see, I suppose, being angry at the state, the DA, the judge, the entire court system, but what has TA's family done other than be the victim's relatives, show up every day to court, and hope for justice?

Rose, they may well have quite a bit to do with how JA turned out. BPD and bi-polar run in my family. It could well run in theirs.
so est is just two hours ahead of arizona now instead of three hours?

If Juan didn't argue against the closed courtroom, then he must see through their BS. No doubt Juan ripped/will rip her to shreds. He's done it before. My favorite moments were when he asked her if she was crying while she slit Travis's throat and stabbed and shot him.
Last I heard, this "Jodi Arias was testifying" came about when a person accidentally opened the courtroom door and saw her. Has there been any new information regarding how she came to be seen either at the podium or on the stand?
If that is still the prevailing story, I am going back to the secret witness being Alyce LaV. If JA was seen speaking to the jury, she could have been giving her allocution in private as long as the opportunity to do so was available. IOW, her being on the stand or at the podium does not necessarily mean there is or was no other witness demanding to testify under the cloak of secrecy. And for me, the person who would least want to be there but who the DT would most want to be there, is someone who is deemed an expert in their field and who can possibly give JA's lies some substance.
JM would dismantle such testimony but he did that last time very skillfully, yet we came away with a juror who believed TA could have been abusive. And remember, there was absolutely NO documentation of TA abuse; it was claimed by Jodi alone, and backed up by her experts who had never met TA.
If that is the case then how is she going to sentence Arias to life in prison without parole? Can she sentence a younger woman to spend the rest of her life behind bars? I sure hope so.
I don't buy that they'd use Alice again. Her credibility was ripped to shreds. I don't believe her testimony is why the Foreman thought Jodi was abused. I think he was swayed by Jodi. And Alice wouldn't want to face Juan again- she had to be hospitalized last time for anxiety.

Ok...Has anybody addressed Nurmi's "new look"? Gastric bypass? He is half the size he was!
