Well, we did have one species, but it's been extinct for 50000 years, so.

If the family had Apple watches then likely all movenents could be traced. But totally understand if someone didn't want to be in on a family find my phone -unfortunately it is very interesting!

My teenage son and I both have Apple Watches. We also have iPhones along with my parents and my siblings. None of us have anything linked on find my phones etc. Not ‘interesting’ , more just can’t be bothered! The feature may exist, but that doesn’t mean someone has to use it. So I don’t think anything more needs to be read into it than that (and this is coming from having my own missing person experience with one of those family members last year).

Researching know violent offenders in Ballarat is bringing up some morbid reading, inlcluding tales of evidence hidden in mineshafts…

I think I will take a break and let police do their jobs. With news yesterday that the police are honing in with a big team of expert detectives on the case, I am hopeful this is the final push to flush out all possible info and we will have some answers before the public search on Saturday.

I have also taken a break. If Satdee’s search doesn't find her, I doubt she will be in my lifetime.

I could set my watch by the frequency of Xanthe Mallet popping up to offer her opinions. I appreciate that really all she said was she hadn’t given up hope because of C. Smith etc but of course she’ll be paraphrased into a headline like that and she must be savvy enough to know and imagine the potentially false hope this might give people, especially those who don’t realise she’s not an advisor to police or anything like that. That's confusing. I'm guessing that's a typo and it should read Ms Murphy instead of Mr.
