News 10NBC has learned that family and friends of missing teenagers Brittanee Drexel and Brian Sullivan, both of Chili, will hold a special fundraiser for the CUE Center for Missing Persons.

Hi Everyone!

While we are all waiting, I was wondering if anyone had any ideas about doing something for Brittanee's birthday. Again, I believe her birthday is October 7th.
I think we should go ahead and start planning if we actually want to do something. I know everyone can't come down to SC or up to NY,and we should probably think of ways for everyone to contribute who wants to do so.
My problem is that I know no one directly involved in Brittanee's case, and I would NEVER want to overstep my bounds or do something that would upset the family or harm the case.
So, what I'm saying is that I would like your expertice and your ideas/opinions.

My plan for another child is a balloon release. Anyone can do that, anywhere. It wouldn't harm the case and I can't imagine it upsetting the family either.

You can do it on her birthday, even pick a designated time if you really wanted to. Such as 4pm ET, 1pm PT. Then anyone who wants to participate can do so. There may be one area where more people can get together and there you can do a much bigger one.

If everyone takes pictures of their balloon releases, you can have them all emailed to one person who is good at scrap booking...and they can put it in an album for her family if you want to do that.

For the area with the most people...You could use a lot of balloons, maybe of her favorite color...especially if it happens to be pink, those are easy to get.

Then 19 of a different color (them saying Happy Birthday would be cool), so they will stand out from the others...since she will be turning 19 if I'm not mistaken.

There are some pretty good deals on balloons on Ebay. You can get 100, 12 inch heart shaped ones for $9 for example. They come in red and pink I believe.

I found a lot of "Happy Birthday" ones as well on Ebay that are latex in all different colors and designs.

If you really had ALOT of people you could be really ambitious and use 530 for the number of days she will have been gone at that point. (I may be off a bit, but that's close.) That's a bit ambitious for me. I'm still trying to figure out how to handle 230 balloons. :waitasec:

I know you can't tell I've thought this out obsessively. That is actually very simplified compared to what I'm planning. I think WAY too much. :angel:

Wishing we could hear something this weekend. I know everyone else hopes for the same. At the least, wish we would hear what the "T-clan" is up to these days? All lawyered up? Laying low. Planning to scoop some unspecting blue-eyed blonde up soon? Stashing the "stolen vehicle" found in someone's garage? All are absolutely my own opinion. Oh yeah, "innocent until proven guilty"...I almost forgot.

I often seem to forget this too...

Quoting from my own post here, and bolded by me too. Huh? This caller was able to notice how many miles are on these "attempted kidnappers' car"? and had time to notice long fingernails on just the pinky fingers? Guess you would try to get as much detail to help "nail them" (no pun intended) but this is sort of weird. Now I want to go back and look at some photos of some certain individuals and see if I can get a look at those "pinky fingers" Please know I do not mean to be making light of this scary situation but wonder about it anyway since it never seemed to have hit the news.

I have not seen this particular video/interview of RM at her home. I did a double take when really close to the end of the video she states "you will be shocked by what they have uncovered". Not sure what to make of that. Also, this was the first I had heard that she was hypnotized in order to be able to provide details of this attempted abduction. She does state she is 100% sure this is the main one who had her "by the waist". The reporter states it is still be investigated if it has any connections to BD's case. And yes I did try to see the "pinky fingers" of this suspect.
