Not a direct route to where he was going?
7-10 casings and none really hit AM or the SUV?
Ride flat tires but he still gets a Flat?

Says Lowcountry agents arrived at 3:40, so an hour after SLED officials arrived with SLED crime scene personnel getting the almost an hour after that.

Alex called 911 at 1:30 and an hour and a half later SLED arrives? Is that correct?

There was a picture posted here on WS showing a flat back tire on driver's side.

Can anyone explain how 2 shooters can shoot out of the side window of a truck? How would the driver be able to aim?

And only 5 bullets each.

I don't see how it's possible.

We need more details, but I agree, this looks incredibly suspicious on its face.

It’s as if it’s inspired by Hollywood, as opposed to what generally occurs in real life. If you can get close enough to tamper with his vehicle, then you can get close enough to ambush him at that location.

So you’d have to do something that would impact his vehicle, and then get lucky enough for Alex to stop in a remote location, where he would basically be a sitting duck.

Then you’d have to be incredibly incompetent to screw the easy part up, which doesn’t jibe with the apparent overkill in the double murders.

Yes, it’s possible that this is an unrelated crime, but motiveless attacks like this are rare, and rarer still would that be to occur to someone whose family was just blown away.

I prefer a scenario where this was drawn up to take the heat off. If that’s the case, it has backfired in spectacular fashion.

I don't even know what to think. Are we getting the true/whole story? And is LE okay with this information being out there?

I have questions about the flat tire. How far away from home was he when it became imperative to change it by the side of the road? If it were truly sabotaged wouldn’t that have taken place at his property? I can drive a looong way with a nail or screw in the tire of my newer model Jeep Cherokee and I may get a low air warning but can still drive with it just fine. Random flat tire doesn’t make sense to me.

Adding to your post. Random as in blow out by unknown means might happen but my cheap mini van has alerts. His must have had as well. Also, this guy is pretty big if the photos I’ve seen are accurate. I really can’t see him changing his own tire either. IMO

I’m not concerned, as I’ve followed SLED in past cases, and they seem more than up to the task.

I’m convinced the double murders was a conspiracy involving multiple people, and that it was likely well planned. It’s the type of case that doesn’t typically lend itself to a quick resolution, as you have to make a case against more than one person.

I wouldn’t be surprised if they have consulted with the FBI, but I never had any expectation they’d turn the case over to them or anything.

I’d only be concerned if local law enforcement was handling this.

Complex cases take time, but I think this event may move things along.

I had this faith in SLED too until all of the funny business that we have seen in the prior cases related to this and those political connections. It’s all gotten muddy to me.

No, and there is no blood in either of the videos I've seen.

Just a hunch. I have a feeling whoever shot the dad were the same people who shot the mom and son. I don't think there is any set up or conspiracy, just someone who wants to see that family dead.

I think the “same shooter” theory is what the shooter wants everyone to think, but if someone really wanted Alex dead, he would be dead & not superficially wounded.
