How often are people with gunshot wounds to the head coherent enough to call for help? Statistically speaking. Maybe it wasn’t a powerful gun? (22 vs 45 vs shotgun etc)

So this driver noticed it was a Murdaugh family member, stopped his vehicle, turned around and decided to shoot him?

Gut feel is this sounds targeted

Multiple shell casings seems like the intent was to kill… IMO
ETA: with it sounding like he will recover and multiple casings at the scene I change my thought to intimidate or scare

Hopefully they have a good description of the truck and enough evidence to find the perp and determine the intent behind this.
