The fact that he said this with a straight face would be absolutely hysterical if it wasn't so sickening.

" Aw shucks Alex, thanks soooo much for not having us run all over the place chasing no one!!! We'll be sure to put this in your file. Maybe you can use it to get out of some of the other 100 different criminal charges we have against you. By the way Old Buddy, any chance you can cop to some of those other crimes too so we don't have to waste any more of the states precious resources and man power prosecuting you? We'd really appreciate it!

The defendant is an addict. So he is not emotionally or psychologically available for a "spousal relationship" because his primary relationship is to his chosen substances.
That may very well be. The fact of the matter is that they reconciled to stay married after the affair for another decade and a half.

The nature of his spousal relationship in regards to the affair is that of reconciliation. Both had obviously moved past it.
MM had not gotten 'passed it', as testified by her sister. MM was living at the beach house, and only came back to Mossel because Am said he wanted her to be there. Same for Paul, who did not live there either, but had dogs kept there.
In any case, that 'relationship' issue may, or may not be relevant to MM, but I doubt AM cared, as some say he never addressed it, but it did end? IN any case, a non issue as far as Murder. I wish they would stay ON TPOIC!

You are not the mind of MM. She stayed with him, yet she may not have let him forget.

It was on the forefront of her sister's mind to even bring out during the trial today.

It would be more relevant had it happened not so long ago as pertains to the murders. 15 years is a long time. Like you said, who knows how the jury will weigh the relationship in the bigger picture. Only time will tell.

Did he instruct his cousin to safely shoot him in his head? Maybe he wanted to kill himself and didn't have the balls to do it himself. I mean, getting shot at doesn't really leave much room for error.
I don't think he intended to die. Remember the housekeeper testifying that he called her to find his medical card the morning of the 'shooting'. He intended to get medical treatment, IMO.

No I am only my mind.

Again, she stayed with him for 15 years after the fact. That has absolutely no bearing to these murders.

  • #388
I agree. Still doesn't change the fact that they reconciled enough to stay married for a decade and a half.
Do agree with that though out of sight never out of mind.

Didn’t she say that it had been a year since she heard it mentioned?

I'm sure it never escaped her mind and potential problems were long lasting from it. But again, she stayed with him for 15 years. No marriage is perfect.

AMEN! OYOH, he will probably cop to many of the Financial Crimes, and hopefully will be in prison for the rest of his life! Frankly, I also feel bad for the SC taxpayers, who are paying for all this. If it were my family, I'd consider it money well spent If he is convicted. OTOH, someone in that family will be making tons of money, Selling eh Rights to the Story... If so, they should be Made To compensate the State for ALL Monies spent prosecuting this SS! MOO

It's not all about physical evidence, it's about the entire picture:

AM was at the scene around the time of the murders and he lied about it. He bribed Shelley to lie for him about timing to support his alibi.

The clothes he was wearing are missing. (Tried to influence Blanca to lie about what shirt he was wearing.)

One of his weapons is missing. He hid a raincoat (with gunshot residue on the inside) at his mother's house.

He fiddled with his son's phone "to do something" before even checking on his wife who was lying there, likely dead.

Based on OnStar and phone records, he had only 19 seconds to stop his vehicle; get out of the car; take in the scene; walk to Paul's body; try to turn him over & take his pulse; fiddle with Paul's phone; walk to Maggie's body; check her pulse and call 911. Well I guess that wouldn't be a problem if you had already seen them dead and didn't really need to check them and absorb the shock.

He called Rogan multiple times before first responders arrived. He was clearly concerned about the video. (also why he was checking Paul's phone.)

ETA: (as someone reminded me above) AM deleted the call log on his phone.

AM showed no emotional concern about catching the killers (even to first responders or detectives).

Say it again louder for those in the back! Excellent summary.

Thinking AM and Cousin Eddie fumbled around tripped over eachother and the weapon went off. I laugh as I see it play out in my mind, Darn now we got to come up with a different story cuz!.

This was likely an attempt to make it appear the same person that killed Maggie and Paul (maybe a younger person with an ax to grind over the boat crash) was after him as well. This is not the actions of an innocent man. This happening 3 months after his family is murdered IS relevant to this case. I am not sure how it could be seen as unrelated. Now we know he hired someone to kill him.. okay how is that also not something that would be connected. There are no coincidences like this.
Yes I believe that's exactly what he was doing and he admits to hiring someone to kill him. IMO if he's capable of hiring someone to deliver death once, it's not beyond the realm of possibility that he would do it more than once. So, to my way of thinking, whether he killed them himself; hired someone to kill them, or if they were killed because of something he did or didn't do to or for some entity that kills your family for disobedience; the bottom line is he is responsible. In addition, I am of the opinion that just because you show regret and remorse and tears come from your eyes, doesn't mean you're not a murderer. jmo

She did, I was surprised she still talked or brought it up to her sister after 'all that time'. It sounded like not a CONFIRMED affair though? Though it was an old gf from college. She must of still had suspicions of his whereabouts at times as one would. I don't know how people keep their relationship trust after an affair if ongoing. See how she brought it up last year even. Boys young teens and had to have heard all about it.

Agreed. I've seen alcohol ruin many lives (adult lives and families).

He was a young man and look who he may have learned his behavior from... none other than AM :)oops::rolleyes:).

I try to give someone the benefit of the doubt... and/or root for the underdog (though he wasn't).
Mixed views of both Paul and Buster through the years. Apparently uncontrollable even in young years, where some parents would not have their children participate in any activities they were in, as their Mom never controlled/corrected them. Let's face it.
In many ways and many families, when someone dies, especially tragically, All of a sudden, they were wonderful, kind, giving people...Death recreates Truth all too often. MOO

Nope and reminds me of a good friend who had fallen from the faithful grace. Now you will spend your lifetime making this right and you being here asking for advice shows me you want too so don't ever let a moment pass from this day forward prooving her right about you..ever again.
