Second Autopsy COMPLETED

  • #21
I just read it on the show that it said it was just done (and its breaking news) I cant imagine something 5 or 6 days ago would be breaking news ? lol

And we would have all heard about it before now ? surely

It was done 5 days ago. Dr Spitz is currently is/and has been in Las Vegas for the last few days doing a conference that he does every year.

And at that same place there is talk about maybe already a funeral has been had...

Just google Caylee second autopsy

Its only people speculating

This would make sense. The A's would be able to duck the media/public if we were all lead to believe that they hadnt done an autopsy yet.:waitasec:

I think it was "breaking news" only for Nancy Grace.

Just my opinion, of course.

Hmmm some places are saying that perhaps they didn't really do one !!

The FH's been staked out by the media since the remains arrived & nobody saw Spitz?..It's so hard to believe someone with a puss that hard to miss (sorry for the diss Spitz!) got by any of them.

For this reason alone I can go along with what some places are saying!

Just before 11am on, In Session (TrueTV), Jean Casarez confirmed she had just spoken with Dr. Daniel Spitz and yes, his father, Dr. Warner Spitz did preformed a second autopsy right before (or after, I forgot what she said) Christmas without the media seeing him enter the funeral home in Florida.

The defense is waiting on tissue samples (along w/other samples) from the state to decide if they (the defense) will do any further testing before Caylee can be laid to rest.

She said BEFORE Christmas!

It was bad enough the child was left to rot in a garbage bag....now she's been found and remains in a cardboard box.:furious::furious:

Whose legal decision is it? Casey's? Or her parents? I know the defense wants it delayed...but the final decision isn't theirs

Why is the defense waiting on TISSUE samples when it was stated by the ME that the remains were completely skeletonized? There WAS no tissue...or was there? hmmm....

So the autopsy was done before Dec.25? . This probably means that Caylee has been buried at an undisclosed location.

  • #30
If the autopsy was already completed, then why is the defense whining that it can't be done until they have the photos from the SA?

Tangerine, I hope you're right. All along I've thought that maybe the funeral would be held quietly and without much fanfare- be a dignified, quiet event.

There's been enough of a circus surrounding Caylee. The least the 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬 As can do is try to maintain some respect and honor by keeping the event private and out of the media.

Ok. Let's count the number of attorneys that have whined and complained that Caylee couldn't be buried because the second autopsy couldn't be done because the SA hadn't turned over the pics and xrays.

Just yesterday I watched Brad Conway's raw video where he says George and Cindy will have to wait on making any funeral plans because the SA hadn't turned over the pics/xrays for the 2nd autopsy. Was he lying? Or did he not know?

Every time I think I can't get any more disgusted with the 'players' in this case, there's something more to turn my stomach.

As George said in his LE interview, where's Caylee in all this?

This is what I understood (barely) from Dr. Lee last night on NG.
The second 'autopsy' has been performed.
They do not have any samples to test for toxicology.
They are waiting for the x-rays from the state to compare their x-rays to.
They are waiting for the results from the state to compare their results to.
He seemed to imply the second 'autopsy' would not be considered complete until the comparisons to the first 'autopsy' were done.

I don't understand any of this. Isn't the point of doing a second 'autopsy' by the defense to have independent findings? Why can't they take samples from the bones the same way the state did? The state was able to complete an 'autopsy' without a prior 'autopsy' to compare to, so why can't the defense?
Can anyone explain this to me where it comes off at least slightly plausible?

I echo your thoughts... they owe Caylee...big time.

If I recall....Baez's own experts said (I believe on NG ) that there was no need for an 2nd autopsy.....that would be performed on an actual body....there was only skeletal remains.
He stated they would only be able to simply view the remains and nothing more.
He stated that they would more than likely be relying on the info and evidence collected by LE, FBI, Labs, etc.
He also stated that there more than likely would not be anything more to conclude from any more testing other than what had been done or is being done by SA.
So why the hold up on a funeral????? They do not need the remains!!!
This is obvious a ploy for the defense to simply file motions to get info they want sooner and to file motions to get info they know that SA has not released yet...........hmmmmmmm and that is exactly what was done yesterday!!!!
The defenses motion to get all autopsy info has now turned into an entire list of info they want.

I'd like to think a funeral was already held for precious Caylee's sake; I'm sure all of us being rational, decent people would have done this by now but don't forget we're dealing with a sociopathic mother and her family with too many neuroses to list here. Not to mention a defense team out for publicity. I bet if there had been a funeral it would've been disclosed, no? Or is this the defenses way of holding LE at bay from charging the As? When have they ever done "the right thing"? Nope, there hasn't been a funeral-its all about Casey, remember? And Casey has to give the ok for burial-do you think she suddenly got a conscience about a box of bones? She certainly had no respect for a flesh and blood little girl, why start now? (In her mind that is)

Apparently, I learned today that Casey gave JOSE legal custody of Caylee's remains. Not her parents.:furious:

It looks like it;s going to be a long long time before that baby is laid to rest.

Got me...but it's up to him when her remains will be released.

I doubt it, when he is feels they are no longer evidence (after his experts can see the state's reports) he will probably sign it over to G/C. It is going to be awhile.
