I would guess secretarial type stuff, bookkeeping, etc.
I would guess that and scanning documents into the computer.

When asked if people would be shocked to find out what they know, Staton took a long silence.
"I know Im taking a long pause on that I have to think through that answer. I think there are things that come out of this investigation that will surprise you, that you'll think about later on when it's over. We have a knowledge of things we don't want to know about ... of things we wish we didn't know," he added.
I don't like the sounds of this at all. This is scary.

Anyone know? At least one throw away cell was purchased at the Lloyd Center. Is there any relation to that area and the other police departments now involved? Thanks.

Page 2 of the article, another tidbit that leaves me wondering:
Staton said the investigation has so far produced a large stack of six-inch binders full of information on the case. He suggested that a number of other cases were likely to result from the investigation, but did not elaborate on them.
Hum. MCSO uncovered information of "concern" that, once case is closed and debriefed, MCSO will likely share with other entities. Hum. Hum.
Also interesting: the warrant strike team was working the case almost continuously. Hum, again.
Staton obviously frustrated with lame leads.
Can I was where is this from, exactly? I've been looking for your post for like 20 minutes. I knew I read somewhere that info would be shared after the case is closed. Seems to me, this supports the *ring* theory, but maybe I'm not thinking of what other entities might be interested in specific information about this case.
jmoo
over $1 MILLION dollars?
I would like to see that breakdown.
I was typing notes during the presser. New to this WS stuff. Thought I was entering on a thread during the live feed. Staton made this 'we have concerns' statement after someone asked a "folo" to the Portland Tribune report that a number of other cases could result from the Ky investigation. Staton said info had been uncovered that was a "concern" and it would be shared in "debriefings" after the case/investigation (?) was completed. He also looked very uncomfortable IMO.
I'm not a great transcriber. But I scribbled notes. Hope this helps?
