It's even supposed to snow down here, south of Roseburg on the valley floor. Supposed to come in tomorrow night and last off and on through Wednesday. I believe it, it's darn cold tonight.

Gee, I always thought the Roseburg/Medford/Grants Pass area down to Ashland always got allot of snow in the winter. I wish we'd hear more about your neck of the woods in the news.

Stay warm and keep your boots by the door ;}

As a fellow Portlander, yeah, yeah, yeah. I'll believe it when I see it!!!! :floorlaugh:

(For those not familiar with our climate, snow is a real treat--especially this late in the season. They often get our hopes up only to have the snow fizzle out.)

Tell me about it. My kids aren't the only ones in tears on those inevitable 38 degree, rainy Portland days when the meteorologists had been building it up as "Snowpocalypse" for a week. Especially when I haven't finished my lesson plans....I'll believe it when I see it. And maybe not even then.

lolz, my dumb husband is so linear that he thinks everything on the 'news' is guaranteed. He's like a little kid when they get it wrong (every day for the 10 years since he moved here.. duuuuh) and I keep telling him he should just call Matt Zeffino and ask for a refund. lol

Yep, the originally said it was supposed to start snowing here today, well it's sunshine and lollipops now, although they are still saying it will snow here on Wednesday/Thursday. We shall see, they haven't been too accurate all year long! It is still cold though, yesterday the higher hills still had snow on them, I think it will be melting today. BTW, we get very little snow here, Roseburg area is sort known as the banana belt. It can be snowing in Eugene and Snowing in Medford, but we'll be clear. Just depends.
