I'm near the center of Parma we have had a lot of Deer here lately!! surrounding small towns have had bears. We also see racoons :scared: rabbitts, possum, the Deer are beautiful..:seeya:

My sister in Saratoga, CA had a deer impale itself on the one of the fleur de lis of a cast iron fence. Not a pretty sight.

While deer may be beautiful, what they do to my beautiful plants is not so beautiful. When they are hungry, they will eat just about anything. I think that daffodils are the only thing left untouched in my yard, other than crab grass. I've had to give up on roses, tulips, and lilies. They even got my butterfly bush this year! I don't know how neighbors end up with all of these blossoms when all of my plants get nipped right when the buds are full.

OT: The Richard Chrisman trial was live streamed today and the defendant was on the stand. Juan is the prosecutor and was on fire. I am reminded again what a masterful lawyer he is. I kept going whoa and wow listening to him. "Do you have a problem with your memory?" was one of the questions he asked. The trial will be live streamed tomorrow on abc15.com. There is a thread under trials for those who haven't followed it and want to get caught up.

Evening all :seeya:
It finally stopped storming here, so we decided to go grocery shopping. My son wanted to stop at Burger King for lunch first (always good to go food shopping on a full stomach :floorlaugh:). They have a cheeseburger topped with French fries! for $1- pretty good. My son was skeptical- he's a little fussy about his food , but he tasted it and gave thumbs-up, too.
We have cool weather tonight, but still looks like it's going to rain again.
We have lots of deer here, but our yard is fenced in and they don't jump the fence- besides The Queen wouldn't let them come into her territory :floorlaugh:
The hunters will be here soon- I hate the sound of rifles and guns. I have seen deer grazing in the fields behind my house in the evening- there's about 5-6 of them. Wonder how many will be left when the hunters come???

Watching Nancy Grace and I'm sick to my stomach. Some people should just be shot.

Happy late afternoon or early evening. I am sipping a glass of wine after a long stressful day. Got up at 3:00 to drive my parents to the hospital 30 miles away to have my dad there at 5:00 am. My dad had outpatient surgery for skin cancer. Got to work at 5:30 and left at 9:30 to go get them and take them home. Went to the pharmacy and got my dad his prescriptions. Went back to work around noon and worked until 4. I feel like I have been driving all day. I am now sitting in the recliner while I a load of laundry washing. After it is done, i am taking a nap.

Your parents are blessed to have you :)

Wow, Serena did not waste any time getting through that match. It was over in less than 75 minutes.

There was so much controversy surrounding the Williams girls when they first came onto the pro circuit and I am glad that they have had staying power and have come into their own, speaking for themselves and showing themselves to be serious athletes. Venus deserves credit for continuing to try to play professional tennis while dealing with Sjorgren's disease. It is remarkable that Serena is one of the top women players today; her body shape actually works against her in this sport, which makes her accomplishments even more special.

I think back to watching Chris Evret and Martina Navritolova and being so excited to see women show such athleticism. They really elevated the women's game and helped to shape it into what it is today. Martina was the first female athlete I can remember who had a muscular body; to me it was beautiful. I saw power and grace when I watched her play.

I'm out to set a reccord for sitting on my bed playing with my computer:floorlaugh: My Doctor thinks its great that I do this. it beats sitting in a rocking chair! :seeya:

LOL! I love sitting in my bed on my laptop. My husband pointed out that a bed is not meant to be occupied 24 hours a day but I disagree. I sleep, work (writing) and cruise the internet from my big plushy bed. I'm in it right now!

I just don't understand- when I had my 1st son, I was screaming from the pain that a nurse came in my room and told me I was disturbing the other ladies. I told her to shut-up and get out of the room  (my labor was only 2 1/2 hours, with the last 1/2 hour (only)of screaming :floorlaugh:).
How did this women not make any noise when she was having the baby????

How old is the teenager? How old we're you when you gave birth? A lot has to do with the age of your bones. Teens have a more pliable pelvic structure.

And how did she tear the umbilical cord with her own hands, then go outside to have a cigarette??!!

This is so disturbing, I don't even know what to say! This is a grown woman, she's in her late 20's. UGH.
