I've been thinking about Jodi's family getting on the stand... I think one if not two of them will get on the stand, and talk about abusing her, (and maybe downplay her abusing Carl and Doggyboy), and admit it and claim it's their fault.

They can use the interview tapes with Detective Flores that they knew she was mentally unstable but what can you do if their an adult? So yeah, I think Sandy's going on the stand and under the bus, and Bill, sick as he is, will be for pity for Jodi.

It'd probably get her a LWOP. If the jury thinks she's that screwed up, they'll want her locked away so she can't hurt anyone else. That would be their compromise and it won't bother their conscious.

Looks like we will have to wait some more for the camera thingy, but maybe JSS has made her decision and it's not on the books yet (I can't imagine the press not
leaking it tho").

Hope when I wake up on Monday AM, it will be there. :crossfingers:

Hi Guys, I found this article this morning and I hadn't seen it so I brought it over here. (Sorry if this was already posted).

"In conclusion, Arias scored seven of the nine criteria needed for a NPD diagnosis. She went through life thinking the world revolved around her, and that she was really something special. How dare Alexander attempt to break up with her! Hell hath no fury like a narcissist scorned."

I just want to know why "they" have to "improve" things all the time?:

Watch Popeye Get Ready for His First Big-Screen Turn in More Than 30 Years

"...Lively and beautifully colored, the footage is nonetheless missing three accessories that have traditionally defined Popeye: his corncob pipe, anchor tattoos, and ever-handy can of spinach...."

By the Court Clerk: Please repeat after me, "I swear by Almighty God ..."

By the Witness: I swear by Almighty God.

Clerk: That the evidence that I give ...

Witness: That's right.

Clerk: Repeat it.

Witness: Repeat it.

Clerk: No! Repeat what I said.

Witness: What you said when?

Clerk: That the evidence that I give ...

Witness: That the evidence that I give.

Clerk: Shall be the truth and ...

Witness: It will, and nothing but the truth!

Clerk: Please. Just repeat after me, "Shall be the truth and ..."

Witness: I'm not a scholar, you know.

Clerk: We can appreciate that. Just repeat after me, "Shall be the truth and ..."

Witness: Shall be the truth and.

Clerk: Say, "Nothing ..."

Witness: Okay. [Witness remains silent]

Clerk: No! Don't say nothing. Say, "Nothing but the truth ..."

Witness: Yes.

Clerk: Can't you say, "Nothing but the truth ...?"

Witness: Yes.

Clerk: Well? ... Do so.

Witness: You're confusing me.

Clerk: Just say, "Nothing but the truth ..."

Witness: Is that all?
Clerk: Yes.

Witness: Okay. I understand.

Clerk: Then say it.

Witness: What?

Clerk: "Nothing but the truth ..."

Witness: But I do! That's just it.

Clerk: You must say, "Nothing but the truth ..."

Witness: I will say nothing but the truth!

Clerk: Please, just repeat these four words "Nothing," "But," "The" "Truth."

Witness: What? You mean, like, now?

Clerk: Yes! Now. Please. Just say those four words.

Witness: "Nothing. But. The. Truth"

Clerk: Thank you.

Witness: I'm just not a scholar you know.

By Attorney: When he went -- had you gone -- and had she -- if she wanted to and were able, for the time being excluding all the restraints on her not to go -- gone also -- would he have brought you -- meaning you and she -- with him to the station?

By Opposing Counsel: Objection your Honor! That question ought to be taken out and shot.
-----------------------------

By Attorney: Can you describe the individual?

By Witness: He was about medium height and had a beard.

Attorney: Was this a male or a female?
------------------------------

By Attorney: Are you married?

By Witness: No. I'm divorced.

Attorney: And what did your husband do before you divorced him?

Witness: A lot of things I didn't know about.
-------------------------

By Attorney: Doctor, as a result of your examination of the plaintiff, is the young lady pregnant?

By Witness: The young lady is pregnant -- but not as a result of my examination.
-----------------------------

By Attorney: Remember all your responses must be oral. OK? Now, what school do you go to?

By Witness: Oral.

Attorney: How old are you?

Witness: Oral.
-----------------------------

By Attorney: What is your name?

By Witness: [states name]

Attorney: And what is your marital status?

Witness: Fair.
---------------------------------

By Attorney: When was the last time you saw the deceased?

By Witness: At his funeral.

Attorney: Did he make any comments to you at that time?
--------------------------------

By Attorney: Now doctor -- Isn't it true that when a person dies in his sleep, in most cases, he just passes quietly away and doesn't know anything about it until the next morning?
--------------------------------

By Attorney: Were you alone or by yourself?
---------------------------------

By Attorney: I show you Exhibit 3 and ask you if you recognize that picture?

By Witness: That's me.

Attorney: Were you present when that picture was taken?
-----------------------------------------

By Attorney: Were you present in court this morning when you were sworn in?
--------------------------------

By Attorney: You say that the stairs went down to the basement?

By Witness: Yes.

Attorney: And these stairs -- did they go up also?
----------------------------------

By Attorney: Do you know how far pregnant you are now?

By Witness: I'll be three months on March 12th.

Attorney: Apparently then, the date of conception was around January 12th?

Witness: Yes.

Attorney: What were you doing at that time?
------------------------

By the Prosecutor: Did you kill the victim?

By the Defendant: No, I did not.

Prosecutor: Do you know what the penalties are for perjury?

Defendant: Yes, I do. And they're a hell of a lot better than the penalty for murder.

The following are actual statements placed on insurance forms where the car's driver attempted to summarize the details of their accident in the fewest words possible.

• Coming home I drove into the wrong house and collided with a tree I don't have.
• The other car collided with mine without giving any warning of its intentions.
• I thought the window was down, but I found out it was up when I put my head through it.
• A truck backed through my windshield and into my wife's face.
• A pedestrian hit me and went under my car.
• The guy was all over the road. I had to swerve a number of times before I hit him.
• I pulled away from the side of the road, glaced at my mother-in-law, and headed over an embankment.
• In my attempt to kill a fly, I drove into a telephone poll.
• I had been shopping for plants all day and was on my way home. As I reached an intersection, a hedge sprang up, obscuring my vision and I did not see the other car.
• I had been driving for 40 years when I fell asleep at the wheel and had an accident.
• The pedestrian had no idea which way to run, so I ran over him.
• I was on my way to the doctor with rear end trouble when my universal joint gave way causing me to have an accident.
• As I approached an intersection a sign suddenly appeared in a place where no stop sign had ever appeared before. I was unable to stop in time to avoid the accident.
• To avoid hitting the bumper of the car in front, I struck the pedestrian.
• My car was legally parked as it backed into the other vehicle.
• I told the police that I was not injured, but upon removing my hat, found that I had a fractured skull.
• I saw a slow moving, sad faced old gentleman as he bounced off the roof of my car.
• The indirect cause of the accident was a little guy in a small car with a big mouth.
• I was thrown from my car as it left the road. I was later found in a ditch by some stray cows.
• The telephone pole was approaching. I was attempting to swerve out of its way when it struck the front of my car.

"Emmy-winning actress and singer Polly Bergen, who in a long career played the terrorized wife in the original “Cape Fear” and the first woman president in “Kisses for My President,” died Saturday, according to her publicist. She was 84.

Bergen died at her home in Southbury, Connecticut, from natural causes, said publicist Judy Katz, surrounded by family and close friends...."

Took down the hummingbird feeder a couple of days ago and cleaned, stored it away for next spring. I'll miss those sweet, little creatures. May they have an easy migration.
