It will be very difficult for JA to not grab the chance to be the center of attention but I am not sure she will take the stand this time. Zervakos does not think she should, claimed it hurt her last time. (I took that to mean he could have swayed even more of the jurors had it not been for JA's 18 days but who knows, really.) Plus, she would no doubt bring forth issues that might not otherwise be brought forth this time around and if she did, JM would have the chance to expound. Not sure her defense team wants to open that can of putrid worms. But, if she insists, her team will have little choice, no?

I think right now, She will not take the stand, but as people are testifying, JM is in action, I think She will feel her defense is not doing enough and then She will change her mind and testify. She likes to be and wants to be the center of attention. This is her last chance to do that, I cannot see see her passing it up.

Jurors being excused due to saying they could not be impartial? And some have a vacation scheduled? I am surprised they get away with that but, hey, I would rather see this than a judge goading someone into saying they could go against their beliefs and accepting them as a juror once they say it.

I agree. It has always been my understanding that they get to wear street clothes because jurors are to presume them innocent until proven guilty. So, why does the killer get to dress up like a real person at this stage? Jury will be TOLD that she is a murderer and thus there is no presumption of innocence anymore and I cannot figure why her dressed in jail stripes would cause them to have a negative opinion of her

Already tired of watching tweets from all the media sources..........WAT and Jen are great, but I could do without the rest. Probably just going to lurk til the trial starts *eyeroll* on the 20th. The weather starts cooling off by then so the jury will be pretty comfortable coming and leaving in fairly pleasant weather.
And ol' CMJA doesn't worry about having to sweat like a pig on her way back and forth from Estrella.:facepalm: Hope the sheriff and the Judge can keep the media away from CMJA. So sick of her self righteous BS.

Regarding impartiality, most people are about some things but not all things. Everyone has issues they believe strongly about and other issues that they could more easily go either way on. I am not impartial all the time and I am not sure the majority of citizens could honestly claim to be. I think that might qualify one for sainthood.
