Over heard a "blip" of it on the news BF was watching this morning. Is there going to be an issue with the wind today? Heard you guys were in for some warm weather, not fun!

We're probably going to have a repeat of this summer's fires in the next month or so, a lot of vegetation from all the rain this past August and this month is going to dry up and who knows when the wood stoves will get fired up this year. Have temps in the low 50's in the early AM, one morning it was 48. We don't light our's up til it hits below 36 degrees. And wood prices have gone up again, $225 a cord for juniper.

Called the vet, NOT going to do it. They'd do a pelvic, but they'd tranq Kissy, NOT cool. What happened to the vets who just shoved their hand up there with no drugs on board? And then they asked if I wanted to trailer her to the equine facility.........like, "Are you kidding?" 3 miles of wash board cattle track before you hit pavement, a heavily pregnant mare with separation anxiety, sounds like a REALLY good idea................pfffffftttttttttt!!!!! Let's just have her foal in the trailer, that's the plan.
I am majorly stressing.

Just going to have to white knuckle it, and hopefully, the foal will just be there one morning.

Did you maybe miscalculate her birthing due date?
Hope she has her baby soon.

Oh no !!! How much time does your DH spend around this older brother, zoey ? He sounds scary and very destructive and dangerous. Oh dear .... :(

They meet once or twice a month~~ive never cared much for him so DH goes by himself.

He was prescribed mirtazapine for sleep?

I realize you don't know me at all but just wanted to give you my perspective on mirtazapine. My doc and I really like it because it simply helps me sleep-and at HIGHER doses there are even studies that it improves quality of sleep and wakefulness during the day! I love it--and I've been on a LOT of sleep meds. Just my two cents-best wishes.

hmmmm.. I never saw that update to the update, which is probably good. So they pulled 8.0.1 which was an update to the mess we have with 8.0. This is the worst I have dealt with, and I adore my iPad.

Thanks bunches, geevee.

I don't have anything to do with any handhelds (too clumsy lol) but I've been seeing a lot of articles and complaints about 8.0, I guess 8.01 was supposed to fix some of those problems but it created even worse troubles. At least Apple didn't unnecessarily delay sucking the update out of the system, I saw one mention that they'd be putting out directions on going back from the bad update but haven't seen it out yet. Sounded like you just couldn't uninstall it to revert but like I said, I know little about those devices.

I found this old article and don't remember ever reading this before. She is a real weirdo. LOL - I haven't said that word in 20 years.

e-mail sent by Jodi Arias on Sept. 1, 2008 to a leader at Travis Alexander's employer Pre-Paid Legal.

I am writing this letter in regards to Travis Alexander, whose life was taken last June. He was a good friend of mine. Am also, at present, in custody as I am being charged with his murder.

I am not writing this solely to plead my own innocence. That goes without saying -- as Travis meant the world to me and I would never harm him.

It is my understanding that his memory will be honored and recognized in Las Vegas this September. I would humbly remind those who say any different -- that I am innocent until proven guilty.

It is with a spirit of humility that I would ask that if I am in any way referenced during Travis' memorial at the team breakout, that my implied innocence is taken into account.

With humble gratitude,

Jodi Ann Arias

watching I Never Sang For My Father on TCM- very good movie- if anyone is interested.

Based on the Robert Anderson play, it is the story of an 80-year-old man's dominance over his widowed son, and belligerence towards his daughter who married a Jew. The son tries unsuccessfully to communicate with his father after his mother's death, and the years of competition and looking for recognition cause futility.
-------------
"...The film tells us that death ends a life, but not a relationship. That's true of all close and deep human relationships; when one person dies, the other continues long afterwards to wonder what could have been said between them, but wasn't...."

Good Evening All,

I am a newbie to this site and after lurking in the shadows for quite sometime (not having the courage to post as you guys are so awesome!) I have a burning question re the latest revelation of the Bishop to testify in the upcoming retrial of the penalty phase. As I understand it from the Justice 4 Travis site, the Bishop is a defense witness. With that said, here is my question: How is it that the Bishop cannot discuss anything with Juan from a sealed proceeding/hearing? I was under the impression that witnesses share information with either the defense team or Juan, each side is privy to that information. So, again, why is he forbidden to discuss anything with Juan? No one side owns a witness and Juan should be aware of whatever discussions where held that have now been sealed. How is the DT able to exclude Juan from hearing that information or even discussing it with a witness?

TIA!! I really love this site!!

Welcome lewcch3!

I'm totally confused as to whose witness the Bishop is, maybe he was the one subpoenaed but if he's a State witness, why does JSS have to order him to have an interview with JM? If he's defense, why is his name not sealed? I'm all confused. But glad to meet you!

Hi Geevee. I am totally confused too and don't have the energy tonight to get me unconfused.
