I don't think Mormon women are to dress like that, do you? Aren't they to be modest and chaste? I can understand why other woman would dislike her. She's again, not the shy person this expert is wanting the jury to buy.

Hi Neesaki, how are things?

I agree, she had converted, but didn't even attempt to fit in with the Mormon ideals. Why ? Because we all know it wasn't a true, sincere, authentic conversion, as she had an ulterior motive for doing so. To get Travis. :( Hi Pages ! Doing good, just braving the cold weather. How 'bout you ? :seeya:

Re: the boob job (didn't know a darn thing about butt implants and yikes). Can you imagine how those 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬 will look in a few years? Implants don't last forever and need to be replaced. They only last a maximum of 15 years without complications. By the looks of hers back in the day, she may have already been having complications. They didn't look "normal." So, expect a "flat tire" in the near future. :laughing:I'm sure the prison won't be paying for them to be replaced. Too bad, so sad...not. Sorry if that sounds brutal, but she gets no sympathy from me.

Jodi Arias: No death penalty because Travis Alexander was a bad boyfriend?

"The two day court week in Jodi Arias wrapped up with a day of more of the same theme--Travis Alexander was a horrible boyfriend, therefore don't kill Jodi Arias..."

Just FYI: Some new (to me) words that psychologist L.C. Miccio-Fonseca used in court on Thursday:

Sexitive

- adjective-

1. To perceive the world in an overly sexual manner.
2. To be endowed with sexiness

-noun-

1. An initiative embarked upon by exactly six people
2. A person who is sexitive
3. A person who has sexy powers

http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=Sexitive
-----
sexuous

1. Sexuous is a combination of sexy and delicious at the same time.
(Damn, that girl is sexuous!)

2. Anything that is thought to be tight, cool, or otherwise dank.

Crr-azy freaky! And you can add Chris Porco to that!

Christopher Porco (born July 9, 1983) is a convicted murderer, currently imprisoned for killing his father and attempting to murder his mother with a fireman's axe.

And it is darned cold here, too. How many days until Spring?

Am I the only old fart here!!! (the quiz says that I am 70 ) :gaah: :tantrum: :shame:

Greetings and felicitations! Finally back online after over a year without a home computer. Been trying to follow WS using the 'puters at the public library but that was just once a week. I'm tellin' ya, a once-a-week WS fix just didn't work for me. You folks are just too awesome to do without!

Need a wake up call? That second cup of java just not doing it for you, bubbe? This should get the old arteries cleaned out. I was thinking of the day they drag JA off to the hoosgow permanently when I picked it. Heh.

BBM :floorlaugh: what the test said- I'm 65 (close to 70 ) but everyone else's test shows that they are "young at heart" and I must be "old at heart" (or something). :crying:

Guess I'm just an old poop.

The Mormons have entered politics, for sure, and I don't think that should be held against them (though I don't like what I perceive to be a cult). BUT--the Udalls are a Western family who have roots in the LDS church and who have taken stewardship seriously--in terms of the earth and the land. Their church has led to an environmental legacy in the West that has lasted for generations.

I knew the older Udalls, and spent time at Mo's cabin in Mund's Parks for several years with my family. The Church has nothing to do with their environmental activism. Bruce Babbitt (not LDS) did the same.

With any organization, you're going to have the outstanding individuals, and the nefarious ones. The political views of the Church have been directed more at alienating specific groups, ie., women, blacks, gays. During my 21 years as a born in the church Mormon, I never heard anything about conserving the environment, either through services, Stake Conferences, General Conferences, or the Church publications like "The Ensign". Many of the larger Arizona development companies, and banks were, or are still owned/controlled by prominent LDS families, and they have no qualms about trading their barren wastelands for State Land Trust, relocating Native species to parts unknown who only return (ex: Pronghorn Relocation), and making the zoning codes fit their agendas (ex:above ground vs. underground utility placement, lighting codes, eminent domain, blocking or diverting washes or arroyos, building on Indian Burial sites).

Mormon politicians with a not-so-nice legacy: Russell Pearce, Evan Mecham (just off the top of my head).

Take an itty bitty knife and just try and barely prick you little finger with it. Your hand will automatically withdraw and your heart might start racing. You’re glad it's just a little experiment and that you can put that knife back in its place. Whew!

Now, imagine, Travis enjoying his hot shower, thinking about his work conference and such when... all of a sudden he sees the woman he has only minutes before been intimate with, standing there armed with a gun and a big knife. For real. He closes his eyes and opens them again hoping it's a dream but it's not. The woman orders him to sit down in that little shower. He sees her seething with rage. She doesn’t even look like the woman he’s used to. His mind starts racing...'Oh my God. Is she going to hurt me? Is she going to KILL me? Are these moments the last on this earth? Is she going to shoot me? Will that hurt? What is my family doing right now? I love them. If I die my grandmother will be devastated. Oh my God. This cannot be happening....!’ Travis’ mind is racing with countless thoughts. Imagine this... Travis FEELS a big KNIFE going several inches into his heart...Unbearable, intense, PAIN. He desperately tries to fend it off but only gets his hands wounded as well. Travis tries to get away but has that knife coming back at him over and over again in his back and front. It doesn’t stop. Imagine the searing pain, bloodied body, the emotional torture (those who have had near-death experiences say that the ‘I will never see my loved ones again’ thought is almost as painful as the physical turmoil.) How frightening to see Jodi’s hysterical face as she holds the blood soaked knife ready to attack again. He tries to crawl away, slipping in his own blood, but he can hear the woman...no, the woman turned wild beast, going after him still. She catches up with him and continues to stab him some more. Imagine Travis sensing that she is going for the throat, she grabs him by the head, he can feel the knife against his skin and then... it’s just TOO MUCH and it’s the end.

Imagine his poor family finding out that Travis has died. Not only that. He was murdered. And not only was he murdered but he was tortured to death. Not only had he been tortured to death but he lay there dead, naked and alone for days. Not only that but it was his ex girlfriend who did this and that too after having sex with him. Imagine getting flowers and a letter from the murderer. She’s all over national teleivison smiling and giving interviews. Not only did she do this but she then claims it was self-defense. Not only does she claim it was self-defense but also says that the victim abused her. Not only was he an abuser but he was also a pedophile. Oh my Gosh. Imagine hearing all this in open court. The laywers and the defendant slandering Travis. Imagine seeing your loved one’s autospy photos plastered all over the internet with loonies mocking and laughing about it. The defendant laughs and smirks too. It’s a game to her. Then comes the verdict. It’s first-degree. That’s good. But, oh wait, the defendant goes on national television minutes after to slander the victim some more. Then comes the penalty phase verdict...it’s an easy one..death, right? NO. Hung jury. Not only is it a hung jury but the foreman goes on televison to disrespect the victim and sympathize with the convicted killer.

Fast forward to November 2014. The retrial has started. Is this the penalty phase or the guilt/innocence phase? Not only does the family have to deal with hearing all the evidence again but they see the murderer especially SMUG as she is aware that the odds are in her favour. Imagine the family coming to court everyday knowing that the murderer might only get life. They hope it’s LWOP. That’s an added worry for them. They know this trial will go on for a few more months. Once the verdict is over with and she is shipped off to prison THEN they will begin mounring the loss of their loved one. Travis will never, ever, ever come back to this world again. This is not a game. This is real life. What Travis went through and what his family continues to go through...it's too much, it's simply too much.

The best thing I can do for them is to pray as I happen to believe in the Divine. It’s the only reason I’m here....to support the victims. And I happen to believe that the prosecutor sincerely cares for them and is doing the very best he can. Juan Martinez IS the voice of Travis and he is the family's guardian angel, protecting and helping them get through this nightmare.

I've been looking for some sort of remorse from murderers and did research this past Summer- it's like looking for a needle in a haystack, tho'. :sigh:

I looked for remorse from Ted Bundy: (if anyone's interested and something to look at and read while we wait for the missy:jail: show to restart on Monday)
-----------------------------------

Ted Bundy Interview (1977) (Rare footage) (Recopilation)

(laughing liar, a child, IMO- a few weeks after this interview, Ted Bundy escaped)

----

Dr. Dobson's interview with Ted Bundy: Preaching from the serial killer

(Remorse?, God, blame, excuses- preaching from a serial killer on 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬, violence in the media, and the desensitiveness in children)

Ted Bundy Final Interview Full

(please note: "Dr. Dobson – a former member of President Reagan’s Commission on 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬", so Bundy is preaching to a preacher. Bundy was a psychopath and told the interviewer exactly what he wanted to hear, IMO)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tLiqathHdwM

------------------------

Fatal Addiction: Ted Bundy's Final Interview

"Ted Bundy, an infamous serial killer, granted an interview to psychologist James Dobson just before he was executed on January 24, 1989. In that interview, he described the agony of his addiction to 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬. Bundy goes back to his roots, explaining the development of his compulsive behavior. He reveals his addiction to hard-core 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬 and how it fueled the terrible crimes he committed...."

http://www.pureintimacy.org/f/fatal-addiction-ted-bundys-final-interview/
--

Breaking done the interview: statement analysis: (interview with Dr. Dobson)

"...Revealing the purpose of the interview. Not only does he enjoy his celebrity, and enjoy the character of killer "Ted Bundy", but he is so narcissistic that even hours before death, he seeks to portray to the world that he is a changed man.

Yet "Ted Bundy" wants to still scare people. His memory of killings are is dear to him and he recalls it at will. He both loves frightening people (likely a sexual attraction for him) while, at the same time, wanting to rehabilitate his image...

Ted Bundy may have claimed to have been a new person before he died, but his language showed narcissistic self importance of one who still refused to acknowledge his evil committed on the earth, nor the justice of the sentence pronounced upon him. "

http://🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬.blogspot.com/2012/10/🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬-ted-bundys-final.htm

And a more techno ananlysis:

Rhetoric and psychopathy: linguistic manipulation and deceit in the final interview of Ted Bundy

"...he is able to draw the audience’s attention away from himself as lone criminal; instead, he is simply part of a wider group of offenders who have been profoundly affected by sexualised violence in the media....

....the evidence in Bundy’s case – his classification as psychopathic and manic-depressive, along with documented instances of him bargaining with legal professionals and repeatedly changing his story – support my conclusion that Bundy was indeed trying to manipulate and deceive both Dobson and the wider audience."

--------------------------

THE EARTHLY REMAINS: REVISITING TED BUNDY

(caution- photo of his face after death)

"...Bob Keppel, who spent the night before the execution talking Bundy through his confessions, later wrote:

Bundy became transformed toward the end of his life into something he never was in real life. There were Bundy souvenirs, Bundy fan clubs, Bundy memorabilia, and a whole Bundy mystique…. Yet for all the mythos surrounding Ted Bundy, he always remained a cowardly individual who could not even muster the courage at the end of his life to accept total responsibility for what he had done….

And Ted Bundy’s ashes, along with all his other earthly possessions, were given to his attorney, with the instructions that they be scattered at an undisclosed location in Washington’s Cascade Range, in lieu of a public funeral.... "

http://www.orderofthegooddeath.com/the-earthly-remains-revisiting-ted-bundy#.VGZ2ePnF9Hw

------------------------------------------------------------
Final conclusion, IMO: No remorse from Bundy: insane? No, IMO- just a psychopath and a narcissistic (like missy:jail:)

He was not insane because he understood the consequences of his actions.

There were no voices that told him to kill and he didn't believe there were any conspiracies directed towards him.

Many killers are attention seekers and manipulators, IMO.

People wanting them to explain themselves and get into their heads truly appeals to their narcissism, just like missy:jail: and her interviews after the verdict of M1.

------------------------------
