I am watching HLN right now. The Hernandez trial is on live. It is a new show with Joey Jackson and called The Daily Share and will be on M-F from 3p 5p EST. Maybe it is not the live trial, I can't tell, but Joey breaks in and shows jurors visiting the crime scene. Really interesting.


Edited to add. . . .OK it is a review and discussion of court and testimony. HLN finally took the darn Forensic files off for this part of the day. Just like old times because I always enjoyed Joey Jackson, he was my most fave of all the lawyers who discuss cases.

Points to ponder from today. Juan never opens a door he doesn't know the answer to. Been re-reading BK's court writings for today and reading the "dark Side".

1. Juan cleared up the 9 year old that TA emailed. It was a business/PPL related deal. (NOT PEDO RELATED)
2. LD does NOT use Autopsy and he's ever come across any other AZ LE that uses it (questionable doubt on Pseudonym so you have 2 comp experts for the defense who can't agree on the use of Autopsy.)
3. June 19, 2009, LD does not agree with the 10:00 pm access and says it was around 4:00 pm (again, dueling "experts" on the defense side)
4. LD explains Spybot, inoculation, user has to manually add or remove Default blocked sites to have access or prevent access to them from the main list of Spybots's "default list".
5. LD worked on the Helio phone............texts on 5/2/08, 8 minute gap, texts seem to be 3 pages, last 2 with 2-3 minute gaps. LD has NOT studied the phone recently.
6. 5/2/08 message could have been copied and pasted, 128 characters are typical, message may have been broken up.
7. 6-10 possible images, compare to Pseudonym's 1000's of sites viewed, Adults vs possible minors, teens.
8. Studied "searches", found them to be "fairly innocuous". (Pseudonym said 1000's+ sex related searches)
9. Text at top of screen for Helio Texts says "Travis Alexander"

What I can get from this and the dark side's "Juan just blew his case"........

Juan knows why there's an 8 minute gap, why TA's name was on the Helio screen, why it was a rambling (and so not Travis "speak", I might add) to the point of being cut off mid word and continued on another text.

What was TA using on his phone as his "name"? Was the "text" coming from TA's FB or MS and NOT his phone? Were the texts routing through California, and not Phoenix to California hubs? (If you've ever done a "speed test" on your computer, the main hubs for specific providers are shown in your state or area. These are the hubs your computer uses to access the internet highway)
Did some one pull the message properties off the texts?

The "Dark Side" said Juan just bolstered up the DT's case today. I think he's set the stage for the "Big Reveal". He still has his rebuttal case, according to AZ Lawyer. (and Nurmi can try to get surrebuttal)

I'm waiting with baited breath for JM's closing argument. I'm tired of this trial. I believe CMJA sent texts to herself from his phone on more than one occasion. I believe around the time when TA sent a text asking CMJA if she used his phone, she sent messages to herself and possibly other women using his phone and then deleted them thinking he wouldn't know what she did. His other texts seem to be short and to the point, the long rambling texts she received from him, were from herself. She may be intelligent by way of having a extensive vocabulary, but she is seriously lacking in common sense. She thinks no one has caught on to all that she has done, but it's obvious to anyone with a clue.
I also believe their entire relationship was played out in her mind, and he truly saw her as a friend with benefits after realizing she wasn't marriage material. I also believe that she acted like she was fine with being his friend, but then secretly obsessed about him until he caught on and realized what a loony toon she really is.
It's just so unfortunate and I'm sad that a great guy lost his life because CMJA is a psycho. I'm pissed off because she can't take responsibility for her actions and instead blames TA for it. I am furious that her entire DT does not have a conscience and have no qualms about destroying the reputation of an innocent victim. I will rejoice the day her sentencing is announced. Regardless of what it is, CMJA will be escorted to prison. Never to enjoy freedom and all the joys that come with it.
I know the family wants death, but I am starting to think that LWOP is the best option. If she gets Life, she will have to fund her own defense team (and good luck to her finding an attorney who will work for the whopping 30k she raised so far. Even if she finds one who will work pro bono, she will piss them off with her idiotic antics until they withdraw) The circus will just continue if she just gets death - at the expense of the taxpayers in AZ. Then HLN will do a story on how she is one of four women on death row in AZ. Then she will get more attention, and then a few more whackadoodles will jump on the jodi is innocent bandwagon and it will continue on clamoring down the street. She needs to go away, and everyone needs to forget about her - forever. jmho

i think juan is being vague, and it might not make a lot of sense to some people right now, and even look bad for him (i'm sure the dark side is jumping up and down). but i think he is doing this so that the defense team can't figure out either (like some of us) what he's doing and once everything is presented he will be free and clear to tie it all together. remember, the jury will have all this information with them once they convene for sentencing and something that might look weird today will be obvious once they have all the information in front of them. i think they are intelligent enough to make the puzzle peices fit in the right spots.

let the defense team go on with their 'experts' and feel confident that juan isn't doing the right thing, juan just doesn't want them to catch on to his big picture. llike we need more delays and sidebars and ideas for them to run with.

i really think in the end during deliberations when it's all laid out the jury will be smart enough to figure it out. i don't have a doubt.

I haven't been able to keep up today, so have probably missed something... that said, I just don't understand why the information from the actual origination of the texts was not, or could not be disclosed. How could they not know ot have this information ? IOW, If it came from Travis' phone, could that not be tracked ? If it did not come from Travis' phone, could that not be credibly discerned ? This is just beyond me, I truly thought this was all traceable information. How, what, why ? So if anyone here can explain it to me I would be eternally grateful. TIA :wave:

I wanted to clear a few things up about the Jodi Arias schedule.
Court not in session till the 18th had nothing to do with juror's. It had everything to do with the defense witnesses. Nurmi stated in court his witnesses wouldn't be ready till the week of the 23rd and tried to get a delay. The judge stated she would call his experts and speak to them personally because the "trial needed to end." Today we hear from the judge that low and behold the defense witnesses will be available for the 18th as the judge had hoped. SO, this isn't the judges fault..not the jurors fault...it's getting these witnesses such as Geffner and Fonseca back in Az to testify. I'm glad Judge Stephens did whatever she did and our delay is short. Monday is a holiday and so really we are only losing one day.

I am with Rhozwen about death vs LWOP. For the family, I hope the verdict is death, but I would prefer JA not have the option of free appeals. I would gladly take LWOP, as much as she deserves DP. I think she will have a harder time with LWOP .... but I also hate that she would gloat at the verdict thinking it a win.

I feel the same way Spell. The thing that bothers me so much is all the new crap JA has brought up, and she is still playing the victim. If she gets LWOP, all of this rehashing and trashing of Travis will have been for nothing. In hindsight, I think we all wish she would have just been sentenced in 2013. As time has gone on she's been able to get more crazy supporters, and more time to sell her tracings art. She needs to be in Perryville as soon as possible. I also feel that the verdict will be split again, and I just hate that she was given another chance for "the Jodi show." She is a manipulative LIAR and evil to the bone.

The 13th juror writes as if he can read the minds of the jurors, he can't. He doesn't know the life experiences and knowledge these jurors have. I read his thoughts but wish he would stick to him being the 13th juror. Sometimes he gets on my last nerve. JMOO
