Red head and I used to drive a red Mustang and I worked for a landscape contractor.
That's why I like to have details when sleuthing. There are a LOT of landscapers up here, a LOT of red Mustangs and a LOT of redheads.
I think they should keep looking into this white truck sighting and not be too quick to rule it out just yet.
:waitasec: Was he parked in the spot where LE pictured the white truck? Was that on the video? I'm on wonky wireless and video won't work...so I can't watch to verify if he says he was parked where LE's picture was...and if he was, I'm surprised the focus of the story wasn't that his truck was mistaken for the other one, rather than he didn't see another vehicle. In the video, he's driving a white F250, not an extended cab tho'.
The trailer and mower are pretty drab in color. He was parked twice on that spot LE pictured the horman's truck. Someone looking from the parking lot or going by on Skyline would certainly have notice the bright white truck ... but not necessarily the trailer / mower as it kinda blends into the background. I think this is quite possible especially if this came from one of the questionnaires filled out some time after that day. Pictures of white truck ... people remember the truck, because they're supposed to remember the truck.
Maybe Terri says she parked on the access road?

Posting before reading all of the replies:
I used to mow the grounds for a large corporation on a large mowing tractor. I would completely zone out. It's hypnotic. The drone of the mower, the vibrations, the wind, the carbon monoxide. I would completely lose track of what I was doing. Kind of like when you are on a long road trip and you realize you just drove 10 miles and have no recollection of it.
And I'm saying this as a fence sitter.

Well you can't always help it. I remember 'snapping out of it' when I ran smack into a tree.
I don't think Terri (or the person in the truck) would have chanced moving the truck to the access road knowing the groundskeeper was working the area above, and certainly not knowing when or if he'd return (or any other maintenance for that matter).
(snipped by me)I don't see how this changes anything - it only narrows it down to 15 minutes. And 15 minutes is plenty of time to carry-out something that was well-planned in advance.
I hate to keep hammering this point but it sticks in my feeble mind. I still do not see why anyone seeing TH leave or arrive with Kyron would make anyone sit up and notice...if you are used to seeing kids/parents coming and going at school why would this draw your attention? What if he got to school and had an accident (bathroom kind) and had to be rushed out to get more clean clothes? Why would you assume anything wrong seeing a mother come or go with her child? Nothing about this makes sense to me...I work part time in a school and I see people coming and going with their children all the time for appointments or whatever....why would it draw anyone's attention....somebody wise me up!!!! LOL
