I have heard comments about VX's being acceptional 4x4 vehicles although they don't have lockers... So, being the smart guy I am (hehehe) I was assuming that lockers is some type of breaking system or somethign that locks the hubs.... If we can't have that, will this new breaking system increase my ability to stop on a dime when 4x4ing and know that my VX is going to hold on whatever angle or technical maneuver I am working on?

I'm for sure in. I am headed to Indiana for a VX meet around the 24th of april (I think) so before or after better!!!!

I am excited, another VX meet close to home!!!

The only Black Rock Moutain I've been able to find so far that would be relatively "close to home" is in North Georgia.

I doubt he went to that one though. The only meet he seems to have attended was one in Maryland. Other than that, he just continually makes promises to go but never follows through.

On January 8, 2004 he had to check with his "Lady Friend" to see if she was going with, which means Janet would have ALREADY be pregnant at this time because on October 17, 2004 Kaiden was born.

Well, SIX MONTHS later, on October 17, 2004 Kaiden was born.

My heart just breaks for all that Janet had to suffer because of "The Rave", his heartless, sick, twisted mind, and his narcissistic, sociopathic, psychopath ways.

I'm not sure if Janet was already pregnant by the time of that post in the beginning of January because I still don't understand the complicated calculation method they use based on last menstrual period then add three weeks and subtract five days and ... blah blah blah. I just don't know. I think it's possible either way.

However, clearly by March, Janet was pregnant. And Raven was speaking of attending a meet with a guest. I can't help but wonder when Raven found out about the pregnancy and how he felt about giving up that single lifestyle that he had just gotten back. Dating ... camping ... VX meets ... suddenly he had to give it all up AND take care of a baby? And then TWO babies?

I drove to pittsburg for new years, not a bad trip... I can do this. I don't have to have full size spare and CB, etc, etc right?
I've been out in the country gettin' dirty down here, but never to a meet.... I am still at about 90% right now...

Anyway, this was in reference to the Valentine's weekend get-away? My interpretation is that Janet and Raven were broken up already by January 8th and Raven already had a lady friend that he wanted to take with him to the Valentine's meet? And Valentine's ended up being a sham? What caused it to be so? Did his girlfriend break up with him? And I apologize for this question but it has to be asked - is that when he found out that Janet was pregnant? What was it that bothered him so about that Valentine's Day?

This should have been the happiest time of her life.

Did you know this Raven? Maybe you should read it again ... Janet was TERRIFIED to tell you about her pregnancy with the little boy that YOU now have the priviledge of raising. Janet probaby would have given anything she had for just one more day with him, and you seem to push him off anytime someone will take him! Was she just as terrified to tell you about the second pregnancy? Is this outcome what she feared the first time????? Just when I think that I can't be any more disgusted ... You even denied Janet the opportunity to be an ecstatic Mommy-to-be! Why was it so difficult to allow her to be happy?

ETA: So what did Janet know that we don't? He plays the part of the doting father ... but she was terrified to tell him about the pregnancy? Those two things don't equate. Was it Janet who decided to keep Kaiden with a sitter even though Raven was able to watch him? Was there a reason that maybe SHE didn't want Raven caring for Kaiden when she wasn't home?

I'm just trying to figure out the timing. We have a clearly negative attitude on the VX boards in what - December? But jager says that when he head from Raven after Raven had been "laid off", Raven seemed even more upbeat than usual. So in December '04, Raven sounds downtrodden on the VX boards (was that before he lost his job?) and then after losing his job in January '05, jager says that Raven is more upbeat than ever? So what changed between December and January? Surely not the financial problems. Was he upbeat because he no longer had to work? Was he upbeat because he had a plan in place to get him out of this mess? Was he just showing people what he wanted them to see? Or was he possibly alternating rapidly between stages of mania and depression? :waitasec:

you know..........reading on the VX site.........soooooooooooo many times raven is all excited about a "meet"..........promises he's going to be there......and then in the end, he comes up with some excuse for not going after all..

..i only found confirmation of ONE meet (in MD) that he actually did go to....(way back when ) substantiated by a fellow VX poster that commented on his "ride" and how beautiful it was......

..is he just always trying to build himself up with the "VX communiity" when he knows full well that he's not going to go ? and why would he do this ?

05/13/2004, 06:47 PM Yeah Q, I went. We had center line seats in the lower bowl,. Wasn't too crowded since it was mothers day weekend I guess. The game went well, in the 90th minute Columbus Crew got a PK, that really sucked cause DC was winning the whole game, but it ended in 1-1 draw!!!

Maybe it was just easier for him to keep up a charade of some sort on the message boards. If he were to have met people in real life, they might have seen him for who he truly was and not for who he wanted them to think he was. Because I completely agree ... he's always right in there, gung-ho about a meet but then never shows up. Maybe he just couldn't stand to see the excitement on the boards about an upcoming meet without being a part of it. Maybe he couldn't stand not being in the center of any particular conversation.
