From the moment she is given her Miranda rights she can shut her mouth no matter what she knows.
That's absolutely true. And that's what happened in this case.

Thank you. I knew what you meant. I think we will all see people taking posts and twisting them a little. I don't know why.
She is liable for the costs of the OCSO search for a live Caylee. That didn't last very long for OCSO because of the car stench and cadaver dog alerts.
But the OCSO search for a dead Caylee is something she isn't liable for because that is the investigation of counts 1, 2 & 3 of which she was found not guilty. Presumably, even if she had told LE "what happened" she would have said that Caylee drowned in the pool but she doesn't know where her dad put the body. LE would still be holding her for murder. Then if they somehow did find the body, they would still proceed with murder charges against her.
Here is what she said...
Note the bolding. "From day one" means that she knew where the body was on the day of death and afterwards. That means the pool and then the swamp.
The issue is that the defense (and presumably Casey too) never said that Casey knew where the body ended up after the drowning. That was a George/Kronk thing. They argued that there wasn't a body in the trunk because Casey didn't put dead Caylee in the trunk. They argued that dried leaves stuck to the car didn't match the swamp site because Casey didn't put Caylee in the swamp... somebody else did.

I take that offensively because you make it sound like I am intentionally taking what was written out of context.
This is important because it's what will be argued in the upcoming State of Florida suit against Casey. It will be argued that she did not know where Caylee was placed after the accidental drowning. It will be argued that she is not liable for expenses for trying to find dead Caylee because she could not have been of any help even if she confessed.
Doesn't need to be confirmed that she knew where the body was, just that she knew she was dead on June 16, 2008 and, according to the DT's OS, she did.
Don't you think that if Casey HAD told LE that (Caylee drowned, GA disposed of the body...), it would have changed the dynamics of their investigation completely - GA would have been interrogated to the hilt to get answers, perhaps even arrested, thereby changing the entire landscape of the search and investigation. So I really still have to disagree with you. JMO~
I'm sorry you take it that way. katydid23 explained in clear language what the context of her post was. You don't have to agree with her. There should be no more debate about context. You may get me on your side of this issue if you stick with the facts at hand.
She wouldn't have said any of that because her lawyer would have advised her not to.
"From day one" means at the pool and then at the swamp.
Nancy Grace says state is going after KC for 500K!
(dont shoot the messenger)
My hope is this: That the SA of Florida, ZFG, and TM are all able to quickly obtain an order to attach to any monies she may make telling her new lies to the media or book companies. The IRS will get theirs regardless. Then, let her go ahead and take someones money, only to have it go straight to the State of Florida, or TM, or ZFG according to the court orders of attachment. Then, I hope for no more offers. No more book sales. Nothing. That way, any blood money that she stands to make from this will never enter her hands and the hardworking men and women who were swindled will get some payback. MOO.
Except for the IRS, none of what you hope for applies if Casey moves out of the state of FLORIDA.
