He is trying to imply that the MBI determined KC was lying early on and therefore should not charge her for costs after they "figured it out".
Problem is, KC was still continuing to lie after they "figured it out"

Moore - Metro Investigation for assist in OCSO in missing child case of Caylee. . . .7/22/08 asked by SO to look @ cell records and look for ZFG or Caylee . . .records of cell for KC and TL and determine if there was an alibi. Moore documented his time assisting OCSO in this case. . . .approach witness with copy of his prepared invoice . . . summary of 203 hours for himself and 2 other officers . . and costs of electronic survlellience . . . pen register and weekly attendance records and summary of the number of hours . . . received in evidence SA #2.

Remains of Caylee were found . . assistance with SO ended and after that it was trial preparation . . .

CM - personally involved with pen register and phone calls. . . report provided into evidence . . . services of MBI began 7/22 concluded 10/19/08 . . . pen register expired on that last date. Time goes thru 8/28 but pen register continued thru Oct 08.

CM re: KC being employed @ Universal . . . MBI didn't look in that at all. . . . MBI looked for ZFG phone records but not addresses for her . . . indications that ZFG didn't exist and there were no phone attempts

CM asking about time expended on Juliette Lewis, Jeff Michael Hopkins, and time on phone spent talking to Caylee according to KC. . . .CM asked which investigator checked the phone call records . . .Moore, Summers and another agent spent time on this investigation.

Moore can tell from looking @ documents what Summers did and he was involved with looking @ setting up survellience recording devices in the autos .. . 9 hours on 8/5

(CM is going through each count and asking how their time relates to each crime)

Mason asks a witness if he knows that the sherriff's dept found that "this" or "that" was proven to not be true by a certain date (i.e. something found to be untrue by July 17) as if that is the date the costs should end. Well...Mr. Mason...then I ask you "did your client quit lying about that specific thing at that date or continue to lie?" Quick answer, no, she did not so the costs should continue while they still chase phantom stories trying to find that baby girl.

Here CM is questioning the validity of his client being charged for time detectives and LE spent on the phone calls ~ Meanwhile, the state of FL has already made payment to Casey's PIs for all the calls they made to the volunteer searchers (from the Orange County Courthouse).
