Seems to me this line of questioning defense is proving the state didn't look at Brad as a suspect immediately. Didn't search for his shoes during the consent search.

Reviewed facebook records as they became known to them.

I am an artist and art teacher. I did a small series of paintings using Nancy Drew images as a metaphor for my obsession with some cases. I also added "Mama Bird" imagery (in this case, a sort of beak tied on holding a worm) to perhaps suggest another sort of obsession. I tend to take care of a lot of friends. My friends started calling me "Mama Bird" years ago and it stuck. Anyway, that's my avatar info.

Of course, I wait for testimony all morning and then get an important phone call when it starts. At least it's annoying FB talk that I missed. I find it highly unlikely that she even logged into that account after setting it up initially. It was early in the mainstream FB years and she hadn't added many friends. As a "social butterfly", I believe that she didn't use FB. Anyhoo... Blah blah blah waste of time. This is my last day to be a slug around the house and follow this stuff before back-to-work for me. Hopefully, we'll get something juicy today!

While we're waiting for the crickets to stop, I share with you my thoughts from reading the 500+ GOLO comments on yesterday's trial.

An overwhelming number of posters commented on the difference in Det. Dreamy's memory when being questioned by prosecution vs. defense. Most saw him as being intentionally uncooperative with Kurtz and just giddy answering prosecution questions. Since no crime ever happens in the TOWN of Cary, Dreamy has limited experience in high profile testimony, and perhaps with experience, will learn his credibility is questioned when he is combative and cagey with his answers.

In contrast to the WS community, the bulk of GOLO comments center around the amazing lack of evidence presented so far. By my estimation, there are 25 not proven for every one already convinced of guilt.

Many folks are distressed with the judicial handling.... anything the prosecution wants is just fine, Kurtz is frequently overruled.

And 95 to 5,this is a huge waste of taxpayer money. There are demands that the beef be shown.

Just passing the time while I listen to chirrup...chirrup...chirrup...rustle...<cleared throat>...chirrup....rustle.

We've been asked to leave GOLO at GOLO.

Which is just fine by me, since I came here to escape it!

32 digit code was previously a 4 digit code, prior to being sent to FBI?

Exhibit email from Cisco July 29th information not Det Youngs understanding, someone elses...

Why is Brads pin or whatevers so important for this witness to know..Didnt the FBI have the phone and doing the examination of it??..So what if he was asked to obtain it...He wasnt going to be using it in his course of duties.. The more questions Kurtz ask..I keep getting the sense..all he wants to do is confuse things for the jury??..and make this witness appear unco-operative..Geesh..

BTW how long is estimated for this trial??..

Too many objections sustained for me to type all this out, lol.

So I guess I didn't miss anything?

Nothing--the first hour was spent in silence while the jury looked at evidence. Then they took a break. Then re-direct, now re-cross. Nothing outstanding. Kurtz is being over ruled, the pros.'s objections are being sustained.

Poor Det. Young finally gets to leave. He reminds me of my Uncle Mac :)

H. Pritchard up next.

Judge just cut off ALL testimony from Det. Young. I can't imagine how relieved DY is at this moment. It's about time--the questioning was becoming weary and tedious--and getting nowhere.
