WARNING: We don't discuss, sleuth or name minors here unless they are the victim or the perp. This is the second warning about this. If you have named any minors in your posts, alert the posts so that they can be cleaned up.

There will be no more reminders about the minor issue, just TOs. WS does everything it can to protect minors - that is part of what we are about. We don't want these children growing up and googling their names to find their names plastered all over our threads. That is just revictimization - which we try to prevent.

WS appreciates your cooperation in this matter. If you are in doubt about posting something - put yourself in the parent's shoes - would you want that said about your child, to forever live on the internet?

Another point I have is this, I've tried to read all the posts I could from previous acquaintances of Brad's in Canada. Numerous friends and ex'es of both Coopers have posted to this forum. And to a person, each of them has described the Brad they knew as being the same, narcicisstic, controlling, aloof, and this point here especially, 'that Brad has always attached himself to the friends of his partner, whom ever that was at the time, because he never had any friends on his own. And that he only superficially attached himself to these friends, acquiring a new group of them every partner change he had. That he never really became 'good friends' with anyone in each social set, just attached himself through his current partner. I was amazed at how the individual descriptions of Brad never varried. Some of these people didn't know each other, yet all their impressions of Brad mirrored each other. Very strange. You know, there are some of my daughters' ex-boyfriends *I* am still friends with. Some I consider my surrogate sons still to this day. What I'm saying is, I/we made close enough friendships with even our daughters friends and acquaintances that we remainded friends even after break-ups. Yet Brad never had any friends. Even he couldn't name any in his deposition. Someone from Medicine Hat posted on here that Brad changed the last names of people he mentioned on his deposition, so they couldn't be traced.

Just checking in. Do we have smoking gun yet?

No, but Hannah Pritchard (not positive of name) has been on the stand since morning and has provided a sincere look into Nancy's life and her life with Brad. Not a pretty picture.

Thank you for explaining that. Makes a lot of sense.

I actually feel sorry for this women (Hannah P.)..having this attny in her face..asking questions she likely cant remember..

Just as aside..I have given a few depositions in my past..and IF in court was asked what I said in answer of which question..I would find it very difficult to recall too...I would just say..whatever I said then is what I said..unless of course they suggested something totally WAY OFF!!..then I would ask to see that depo or statement I signed....

Doesnt look like Def. got too much dirt of her tho...as cross was short for Mr. Kurtz usual :rocker:

Anybody else think HP looks like Jan Brady?

I find this hard to believe. Can you sleep in a necklace? Ican't when people who I know to be runners, do not run with neclaces on. I also have seen pic's with her not having a necklace on. The main pick on webslueths for example. Of course I don't know if this picture was taken before or after she recieved the necklace. I also would think that if this was a gift from her hated husband, why would she wear it?

(disclaimer: I am a guy)

I have been wearing a necklace 24/7 for 20 years. I started wearing it in memory of my dad. It never comes off with the following exceptions: It needs repair(in which case I wait while it is being fixed), Surgery (in which case my wife wears it for me until I can), It needs cleaning (in which case I am holding it in my hand). That is it, as much as it is possible, I am never without it.

Guys - I see that the minor discussion is part of the trial and I understand it is discussion worthy. Having said that - I'm now asking that if you need to discuss this, you get a bit creative about it. It may be a little difficult, but I'm sure you can figure out a way without naming anyone or leaving comments that could further hurt a child should they find them.

Defense questioned HP. Thankfully, he didn't drag it out forever. Now, another neighbor (Susan Beaumont or something like that??) is on the stand and testifying for the Pros.

Witness walked dog 6-6:45AM on 7/12. Noticed wide open garage door upon return @ 6:45. Didn't notice # of cars.

Seems like state is trying to make a deal about garage door open, but I don't find the significance.

I am backtracking as quickly as I can to find those that I posted about the eldest vs the younger.

I wonder if defense is going to say NC would exit thru the garage for running?

  • #297
I ran a search on the names and either snipped or removed the posts, so I think everyone is okay for now.

To me it means that perhaps he didn't get into the car in the driveway like he normally would. It looks like he may have had the car in the garage. I think this may be important!!

This neighbor comes across as pretty impartial (imo) regarding the Coopers and not really part of the gossipy clique. Matter of fact and believable.
