Authorities have searched four areas since her disappearance — Simpson’s home, the Olmos Park Basin, an area along Interstate 10 in Boerne and the landfill.

Wow. I don't think I've seen a statement like that before. I believe him.

I believe him also, and I can’t imagine what his presumably elderly parents must be going through right now.

Whatever the reason for their confidence that Suzanne will be found at Tessman Road LF, it’s a horrific situation for her kids, family and all those who call her their friend. What a selfish $astard he is.

If his attorney is smart, he’ll be putting together a plea deal soon. Or maybe he already has and that’s the reason LE is confident she’s there …

Hmmm, interesting thought... Hoping you're correct.

The children and the other relatives and friends who love her need closure.
So does LE and the neighborhood, too, IMO.
Such cruelty came from evil and pure greed, IMO.
The good people who knew her will never be the same.

Right.
And now this scum will never again enjoy his wealth and lifestyle while he sits in a prison cell. Was it worth it?
Didn't he even give a thought to the pain he would inflict on his children?
May he live in misery for the rest of his life.
Why these arrogant despicable men don't just get a divorce and move on, I'll never understand.
Alimony.

Plus narcs, especially when full-blown, thrive off of chaos and the control they exert through force and confusion. They aren't going to ever take the smoother route of a divorce (and if divorce happens, it will be anything but smooth).

Look at how he is behaving now. He could spare his children, elderly parents, mother-in-law, and other relatives so much pain if he cooperated with LE. But, nope. He won't ever do anything to recover his wife's body. (I know many defendants don't cooperate.)

Did you see his arrest photo? That smirk on his face? He’d rather sit in a 9x9 cell than to help, knowing LEOs are searching a landfill for his wife & the mother of his children. SMH

I’m glad someone else saw the smirk. I thought it was just my jaded glasses.

Agree. But in this day of devisiveness and “not my child/family member” this is extremely refreshing, though also extremely sad that a statement such as this should have to be made at all. My prayers are with Suzanne, her children and family - including BS’s family who seem to love her very much - and all of her friends and community. I just wish men (though women are known to do it too) will stop feeling like they are entitled to kill the women they are supposed to love, care for and protect when things don’t go their way.

I think they are very close to finding Suzanne’s body and HE will be spending the rest of his days behind bars.

Investigators have wrapped up Day 2 at the landfill to search for missing San Antonio mom, Suzanne Simpson. Officials said they will start digging again tomorrow.

The search for Suzanne Simpson, the missing Olmos Park Realtor, has been suspended for the day, but will resume tomorrow at a southeast San Antonio landfill. We had 25 Bexar County Sheriff’s cadets mounting the search along with a San Antonio police CSI team. We saw no progress.

Was so hoping she would be located today. This is so heartbreaking.

My thoughts go out to her loved ones, her friends and those who have searched tirelessly to bring her home.

Yup. Regardless of the level of public pressure, it’s rare to see a family member come out this openly and forcefully. Good on them!
His own brother, doing the right thing.
It’s something we don’t see often.

IIRC, Patrick Frazee’s brother testified against him in the Kelsey Berreth case. That landed PF in jail for LWOP +156 years, in Colorado.

I don’t think Texas is more lenient with prison time, either.

Everyone sees you Brad.
Including your family.

“Based on data received, not searching this landfill was not an option,” he said. “The Texas Rangers and the Olmos Park Police Department believe that searching this location is the best option. After two full days of searching, no items of evidentiary value have been found.”

Cockrell added that Simpson’s family has been supportive and “exceptionally strong” for her four children and for law enforcement, and that the search will continue.
