Did he mix the concrete in the rear passenger compartment?

4:07 p.m.

Officials say Brad arrived to the Bubble Bath Carwash on San Pedro. Surveillance cameras show him washing and cleaning the driver front side and the rear left passenger side of the passenger compartment.

Later, photographs show dried cement splashes in the rear passenger compartment of the vehicle to include in the truck bed. Another photograph showed a 30-ounce Clorox bottle within the rear passenger compartment of the vehicle. The truck bed contained only the ice chest with no other items that were observed in previous surveillance videos, the affidavit says.

Car washes, Home Depots and Walmarts should consider routing their CCTVs straight to LE. I'm actually a little surprised smart technology isn't employed, flagging certain combination purchases. Shovel, check. Gloves, check. Bleach, check.

Fast food after, check. Man's gotta eat.

If LE can find Suzanne, please let the quikrete preserve evidence. Like scenes from his life, a playback of all the terrible things he did, under cover of night. And some broad daylight.

Scourge.

Yes he had several legal suppressors per the media reports. This is not uncommon in Texas. I don’t think he used a gun to kill Suzanne. As mentioned earlier in this thread, the guns are a side show. He had a couple illegal pieces in the collection and wanted them removed because he knew his house would be searched. JMO

Agreed. I think the injuries to his body indicates that this was up close and personal. I wouldn’t be surprised if she was strangled.

With any luck at all, that quikrete will come back to bite him. So long as LE can find her, the concrete just might preserve her.

I fought some bougainvillea over the weekend (I won) and ended up very scratched up from the thorns.
Is that a common plant for that area?

Maybe the cement and five gallon bucket made a 'cement shoe' for the corpse? Then feet first down a water well after the Quikrete had cured. Or any body of water for that matter.

Minor detail of the purchase of insect repellent-are the bugs that bad in Tx in Sept? Wondering if he took off his shirt/pants and sprayed himself in order to get in a body of water w mosquitoes? He could’ve lost his sandals in the water thus needing to put on dry boots. Then his clothes would be dry to put on afterward. Or could it have been to spray the body/tarp before he disposed of it in a dumpster/well? Puzzling to ponder…anyone local who can shed light on a purchase of insect repellant along w Quikrete and bleach and a bucket?

When i heard those two details earlier tonight, along with a mention of a lake. I immediately thought of a weight to hold her body down in water. Ala~Scott Peterson. But does quikcrete set that quickly? Guess it really wouldn’t matter if the bucket was sealed.

I told my husband in the world today you should expect you are on a camera the minute you walk out of your home. These people turning off their phones is nuts too. I mean I rarely even restart my phone and it's always on other than that. If it's turned off, something has happened to me or I've lost my mind and doing something I shouldn't be.

well, that's not necessarily common or 'nuts'
my phone is always off when I'm sleeping and is off right now while I'm on WS on another device ...

The link to that is in this thread back on page 7 or 8

I’ll try to find it.

I've gone back thru most of the Cotter stuff to try to find what you're referring to and can't.

The only thing I can come up with anyone else mentioned is the below when a fellow WS poster posted their theory about another buddy maybe being called to help.

But I'm assuming that's not what you were talking about?

Can you please help us find it so we don't have things "growing legs" that we don't have links for?

I did my best to try to find anything like what you were saying?

Thanks! (the below is about 20 pages in to Cotter related details)

Great intel- thank you!!!!!

Medina Lake and Medina the town are very far away from each other. Plus Medina Lake is dry right now...His house in Bandera is actually about half way between Medina and Bandera, so getting to Medina and the dumpsters he was allegedly tracked to for 13 minutes would make sense.
Yeah, this is very good information, since many people are wrongly thinking that the affidavit refers to Lake Medina. Instead, the affidavit NEVER refers to Lake Medina, so that is one way to spot people that aren't familiar with the case.

Regarding "very far from each other", these two places are about 35 miles apart, so it means these theories involving Lake Medina have BS driving much further away and to a location not in the affidavit at all. Instead, the small town of Medina, TX, is just 10 mins drive west from the Simpson ranch, so that whole round trip from Brad's ranch (including the 13 min stay in that small town, as described in the affidavit) would be 10+13+10=33 minutes, with the driving almost entirely done on Texas highway 16 (TX-16).

Hopefully this helps, since IMHO the affidavit puts a lot of emphasis on the blue tarp (and the bulky item inside it), so knowing where that blue tarp was disposed of seems very important to the police investigators.

Amazing how often these guys get caught out on the trash run

I wouldn’t as well be surprised if strangulation was the cause of death. In addition to Suzanne fighting back I can attest to those woods near their home could inflict some scratches and bruises as well. Especially in the dark.

So they have found no info on where he was for over an hour right around midnight Sunday nite? That's the night AFTER she was last seen, correct? Their last fight was on Saturday nite (or if after midnight, early Sunday am.) And they don't know where he was around midnight Sunday night because they know he purposefully turned off his phone. Wonder when he turned it back on. His next known whereabouts was at HEB grocery store at 12:33 am, which was past closing time, so just in the parking lot. I was assuming that info came from HEB parking lot camera, but it may be from his phone if he turned it back on. Or could it also come from his truck data?

Wonder what the camera or data showed him doing at HEB. Did they just spot his truck as it passed by, was he even in the actual parking lot, if so what was he doing?? Did he get out of his truck? What's in the back then? AND how far is that from his home?

I think during that drive around late Sunday nite, he may have been scouting out a dumpsite. Or maybe he went somewhere and bought a couple burner phones. Could've met his friend and given him one then, all IMO only.
The argument at the Argyle was on Sunday 10/06/24. The fight in the front yard of their home was a couple hours later at approximately 10:15 PM the same evening.

by chance do you know what the water level is like for the Rockcliff Resevoir (pictured below) :)

That and the lake is dry and the river is low right now...
Looking at Google maps, it looks like there is Rockcliff Resevoir close by… is there a bridge that runs across it? What are the water levels like if you know?

Do y’all think BS bought the insect repellent for himself or for the body… ?

  • #1,018
Also, I would think that, after cleaning the truck on 10/7 at 1607 that he no longer had plans to go back and put the body back in the truck and move it again. So, either he was confident that: either Cotter would dispose of it further or else BS didn’t need to put her back in the truck again (I.e. bury her, throw her down a well/oil drill hole, etc.)

  • #1,019
But, I would think that rigor mortis would make it difficult to fit her down a narrow-ish hole.
* sorry for all of the early morning thoughts and subsequent posts hahaha.

QUIKRETE® Fast-Setting Concrete sets in
approximately 20 to 40 minutes.
