Does anyone here have historical insight on a suspect sending LE and Search on a fools errand? Is this one of those in anyone’s opinion? I hope not to breach rules of this site but ask in all sincerity if it’s possible.

Suzanne Simpson's brother-in-law shows support for recovery efforts as landfill search continues​

At the 1:08 min mark, "Meanwhile, San Antonio police confirmed one of it's CSI units is assisting at the scene. And while Wednesday's search came up short, a DPS spokesperson said in his statement, 'Based on data received, not searching this landfill was not an option.'"

Killers have led police on wild goose chases in regards to where a body is, but that doesn't appear that's what's going on here. They have cited "data" as the reason for why they're searching this landfill, and I have no reason not to believe them here. They wouldn't say they believe she is there based on a suspect telling them so. They seem to know for a fact she's there, or close to it anyway.

Clearly Brad is the black sheep of the family. I’m so sorry for them all. As for his children, can you imagine knowing a landfill is being seached for your Mom’s body and your Dad is responsible? What a horrifying reality.

Starting on Tuesday, October 15, crews have been combing through the local landfill, which is open to the public for dumping. The site is at least the third location investigators searched. The Texas Department of Public Safety said a search in Boerne, about 30 miles from San Antonio, led them to search a particular spot of the landfill.

This. I think they have video of him dumping her and that is why they know she's there. GPS or cell phone data may corroborate it but they seem very specific in their search and wording about it. All jmo.

It is horrible watching the claw pick up heaps of trash from the dump and drop them down on the ground while searching for Suzanne- day after day…..
Honestly that husband of hers is a terrible coward.
How he can do this to his 4 children and extended family and her friends is beyond me.
He’s a very ugly person to not allow his wife of 22+ years to be properly laid to rest.
Narcissistic sociopath?
I can’t imagine her putting up with him and all he put her through these past years before killing her.
