I think in the Thailand, south Asia part of the world, people are very relaxed about concepts of 'time'. An hour could be two, 5 minutes could be 3 hours......and I think that has been shown throughout this ordeal. Its been imminent for a few days now.....and still hasn't happened.

This is NOT a criticism but punctuality is not part of their culture from my experiences with a number of people from that part of the world.

The presser could be in 5 minutes or at midnight or later.

Good luck with that, I am getting closer to some shut eye........almost ready for bed.

CYa in the AM. EST
We are probably in different time zones. It's only 7:43 PM my time. So I'm wide awake. Yesterday I couldn't hang. I tried to peel my eyes open as long as I could, but by the time 2:00 AM came around I crashed. I totally get it! Get some sleep. Hugs.

Okay try this.

After you click the link it will automatically take you to some LA waterfall video. Scroll down to Soon: Officials give update on rescue efforts in Thailand.
Click on that. It will automatically change the top "bigger" video to the correct video, and you will be forced to watch an advertisement first, then it should take you to chaos. With people walking around and waiting for the PC.

What is going on at the #Thamluangcave rescue side? Rumours were that at least one child was on his way out yesterday. All reporters have been ejected from the side. Conditions seem to have significantly worsened in the cave. Ambulances from many different hospitals were seen

Drainage of the caves "coffee" water. This photo is in the daylight. Imagine this same water inside a dark cave. (Translation of Thai to English text not very accurate--reference the link for photos).

That is just gross. Yeah I would probably not put my head in that to save my life. Then again I hate clear water so...

Okay try this.

This is what worked for me earlier. Patience it took though. Lol Now on my phone I can’t watch it.

Reporters were told to leave the rescue site this morning while ambulances from several Chiangrai hospitals were moving in. Authorities have not given any statement since they told yesterday the conditions for #Thamluangcave rescue were “perfect"

veena T. on Twitter

“Oh..am glad they’ve brought the kitchen too,” a journo said. Apparently, the Royal-sponsored kitchen has relocated to the new ground too. They’ll transport food to those working on the ground from here.

I just checked again and right now it's showing the blue press tents...

Updates from The Guardian:

Thailand cave rescue: officials evacuate site for 'rescue operation' – live

7 min. ago: Jacob Goldberg, one of our reporters on the ground, reports that officials are now clearing the roads into the cave site, including towing away parked cars.

12 min. ago:
A Bangkok Post reporter has said on Twitter that the first stage of the operation will be to recover four boys.

“Sending support and prayers to the Seal unit and the first four kids to come out safe,” Wassana Nanuam wrote on Twitter.

The Guardian has not been able to confirm this and officials have not confirmed details of the operation

20 min. ago: There is speculation that the order for journalists and non-essential personnel to leave the site came as officials became increasingly irritated by the growing media presence at the site. Hundreds of reporters have arrived at the cave site over the last week.

The press conference, which was due to start half an hour ago, has not yet begun. We’ll have updates from that as soon as it does

Thanks, Verdigris --- I'm finally there!

I am glad the king decided to pay for it. That was stressing me out.

The boys have practiced deep meditation for days.

Thought of fear -- return to breath

Thought of fear -- return to breath

Breath, breath, breath

I've thought that too & of how fortunate the boys are that their coach was once a Buddhist monk. What they've learned about meditation really might help. Not panicking as they journey for those hours back is everything.

The last unofficial word from rescuers was that "Conditions inside the #Thamluangcave chamber where they have sheltered from flooding since they vanished June 23 have grown precarious”

May strength and courage be in every breath each boy takes during this journey.

May the world witness the miracles of the safe rescue of these boys

May faith and love surround all involved

Namaste,

May it be so.

I'm not fluent but this is my translation:

The "Tourism Police" and public relations officers in Chiang Rai asked the Police Deputy Commander to "conduct a raid" on the media tent at Cave site.

There are about 5-7 local media agents in the area, and more than 1100 foreign press registered with them this week. More recently Police Gen. Chutarat Panyarum, Deputy Commander of Police Region 5, received report from official at the rescue site stating that their working conditions were being affected; some media interrupted their operations; and today they were trespassing into the restricted area. Commander promised he would "put media in alignment."

I thought it said "antipasta" and was a bit confused...

#Thamluangcave site was closed around 07.00 this morning, 12 hours after a wife of a very high ranking officer had said the rescue was underway. Ambulances from several hospitals and vehicles belonging to those involved in the operation were seen driving up to the area after that
