I would have thought that, if they were sending the weakest boys first, the younger ones would be the first out...but the first two are 14. Maybe the time without food is tougher on a larger person?

I will be very upset if charges are filed against him. He made an error in judgement taking the boys into the cave, not a criminal act.
He more than likely saved these boys lives in that cave! I doubt they would be alive had it not been for him. He is a hero in my mind!
Error in judgement could get you charged day in and day out. Such as a driving incident where you didn't have an intent to injure or kill anyone, but didn't follow traffic rules.

The one boy said to be code red......means serious right? Out here we have serious condition then the next is critical condition. Do they differentiate the two in Thailand?

I wonder if they have to depressurize so they don't get the bends.

I don’t think any of their possible dive was near deep enough or fast enough for that to be a concern.

Sure, but there are rules to guide. In this case there were none.

It appears to be a triage coding, not the conditions that you get reported when someone is in hospital treatment.

I think it might be CARIIS who posted the explanations for the Red/Yellow/Green codes a page or so back?

apparently a couple of days ago one of the guys who went in first called it gnarly!

Our proper British journalists are discussing gnarly and are a dash off mates!!

From Thai media tweet: Another news conference is scheduled for 9 (local time). And the divers are reportedly taking a break.

Bless their hearts. I can't imagine how terrifying this has all been.

With all the strong currents and water rushing around as they go through it... I imagine it'd be something akin to Olympic bobsledding, while in a washing machine.

These poor kids....
and Bless those rescuers!!!
❤️

And all the volunteers!

In Thailand, an error in judgement can have you imprisoned for a long time.
Yes, very true. The local militia have already charged the boat captains in the 2 tourist boats that overturned in flash storm this week.

I don't think they'll go after the coach...there are laws and punishments that can seem harsh in Thailand but it seems to be mainly against 'criminals'. The posted sign outside the cave advised against entering in July-October, so I don't think he was criminally negligent to go exploring with his team in June. He also kept his team together when it could have easily deteriorated into an "every man for himself"-type scenario.
