The families of the first 4 boys in #ThaiCaveRescue saw their sons in hospital last - through glass. 2 have suspected infections. But all 4 said to be fine, can sit up and are now eating normal food. #Thamluangcave

#ThamLuangCave: The kids have been given soft food like rice congee first but the first four can now eat regular but easily digestible food, no nothing spicy.

Dr Jetsada on #ThamLuang survivors: 8 boys rescued are safe. They were long exposed to humidity in caves, exhausted by diving. No fever today. Psychological support given. They chatted, laughed with PM Prayut yesterday, to be in hospital for at least 1week

UPDATE: Health officials say that children extracted from the #ThamLuangCave have been checked on their blood, their lungs, given IV drip and vaccines incl against rabies.

The #ThaiCaveRescue boys will be kept in hospital for 7 days - a Helen official days. Looks like the World Cup final visit will have to wait. Can they be guests of honour in 2022 @FIFAcom ?

I was just wondering if the docs are watching for problems from possible exposure to bats and bat guano. Those suckers do carry rabies.

There are only 4 boys left, so shouldn't we think they are ALL coming out now?


But the answer is even weirder===> “The perfect ones, the most ready ones.”“

That answer worries me greatly. Every one of the boys has to be ready now. This is the end of the window.

I hope it is just lost in translation issues....
