The elusive "other" cell phone - the Blackjack - REVISITED

So, if you use two different phones, all the calls to that number are on the same bill? Right? Didn't know that.

Yes, the sim carries the number, and it is billed, I guess you could say. Doesn't matter what phone it's in, as long as it's a provider phone. There are ways to make phones use other providers, but I don't know much about it.

So unless Casey hacked the phone and had another provider, or someone else's sim card, all her phone calls would show on her bill, regardless of which phone she used. Blackjack is an ATT phone, and is her provider.

Has anyone heard if they have looked at all KC's friends phone records to see if there are any unaccounted calls that may have been from the second phone? IF (and that is a big IF) she had a second phone she must have used it to call somebody. Maybe they could work backwards off AH, JG, Tone or others phone records.

Or was it the imaginary phone used exclusively for her imaginary nanny?

I had to chuckle when I saw this...a security camera image w/ date & timestamp w/ phone in-hand...not exactly laying low

I don't have the phone records post-June handy, but, a corresponding text/call on 7/8 ~11:59AM would lock it in.

Worth noting though...she could be using web browser, hence, the absence of a call/text from her Nokia wouldn't necessarily mean its not her Nokia. Also, IIRC, Tony had a Blackjack...so, would need his records too to eliminate some possibilities. Dontcha love how one question leads to two or three more...

Not for sure. I and my husband have swapped our sim cards right into a new or other phone all the time. It gets billed the same. Even when he had an overseas phone that didn't work in the U.S. he would just swap the sim fromhim phone from here to call me, and then swap it back to call co-workers overseas. Billing stays the same.

since we are talking about the cell phones here: On NG didn't LP say that RG gave her a cell phone? Please direct me to the thread where someone other than myself has to be curious why he would give her a cell phone???? Also he (RG) said himself on NG that he is the one who found out Casey was "cheating" on JG because he read it on her ms? Kinda weird that her future father in law was checking out her ms messages? I know we were not allowed to talk about some things before but he brought that up on national tv.

I do see her pinging there at Target at that time - but no call at that exact time.

Didn't they turn her cell service off in July because she owed what was it, $574.00? I was thinking, maybe she never actually bought a 2nd phone, but rather, used that money (check) to pay her cell phone bill.

The Blackjack topic is the reason I decided to join this site. The phone conversation KC had with LA about finding the Blackjack IMO had nothing to do with finding a phone. Does anyone really think LA would care where his sisters phone is when Caylee had been missing for a month? Some might but I don't.
Blackjack is also a slang street name for a drug called ecstasy that is used in clubs and rave parties all over the country. There is a big market for this drug in her age group. I think KC and her brother have been dealing in it for some time and she was telling him where she hid their stash. Didn't she say something like "bottom left" part of town when she was asked a question about where she bought it? I think she was giving him directions in a way only he would understand.
If anyone thinks this post has any value at all just chime in and I'll share more thoughts on the Blackjack.

It has been fun reading these boards the last few weeks, the time some of you put in on this case is really great for us lurkers ........

On the phone logs, the code on the phone and the code on the sim card never changed through all those pages. IMO there is no Blackjack and she never used it with that SIM card, for sure and fact the days we have logs for.

It shows Casey using this same phone coming into the store as she's getting her shopping cart before she bought anything. So this shows she used it more than once during this single shopping spree.

I would love those pings.

If there are none, it might show that she's got 2 different accounts.

Yes, NG had Leonard on saying that Rev Grund gave Casey the phone, but it doesn't say he hooked her up with an account and is paying for that account.

Theorizing, if he gave her the phone, she could easily use it with another account.. full blown account or a prepaid type.

I had no idea either that blackjack was street name for X. It would fit with the circles Casey was talking in, but I'm reluctant since Lee appeared to have no idea of the clue she was trying to leave him.
