The fact that she was seen with HG the first day in San Antonio makes me believe he was her connection-the one she was supposed to meet up with, the reason for going to SA. Not a random guy she just met. Now whether he was an adoption connection, a friend of her family or a guy she met online prior, I have no idea. He is the key since EJ isn't talking. They have to have a sketch of him if he was seen that many times.

Seems like this guy "could" be the answer to the question "why San Antonio", huh. Seems strange that he would not be her connect if he was there as early as the first night. If he were her connect then, to me, it makes sense she would leave SA without him...i.e. the bus. If they were "together" before SA, then I would think she would have ditched her GF car, and left with him to start her new life. I wonder if there were sightings of her on the bus all the way to Florida, or if she got off and continued to FL with someone. From what I have heard here, it seems she rode the bus all the way to Florida.

So, in thinking she knew at least of this guy before leaving AZ, how did she know him? Online? A connection made in AZ? Where would she have made a connection while in AZ regarding adoption in SA? :waitasec:

The thing about criminals, especially organized ones, they don't trust other criminals. I think the smaller criminals in this may not even know who or what he does. As far as I know, there has been no composite of him put out to the public. The PI said witnesses saw her with a guy. I find it hard to believe that someone didn't see her with people or have seen her comings and goings as long as she was in one spot while she was in SA.

IMO, EJ had to have known HG somehow prior to SA. Either they met for the first time in person in SA and had a prior relationship forged through the internet, or she knew him from her past. I hope the new PI can find him since LE has not seemed to have any luck, yet.

The fact this guy hasn't come forward means, to me, that he must have some involvement. We don't have EJ's laptop, LE has her (1) cell, which must not link to this guy and we haven't seen any surveillance cameras that caught him so I have no idea how we are going to find him. Obviously EJ isn't going to talk.

If LE is not finding anything on her phone would she have used her computer or someone else's phone? Who was she hanging around with on the 8th through the 18th? Why won't she give up this guy? She could care less about Gabriel so a threat against him probably wouldn't keep her mouth shut. She's in jail so there is no threat against her. Maybe a threat against someone she truly loves. I can only think of one person that she cares about and will talk to.

I think it's very possible EJ met and forged a relationship with HG on the internet. My only question is how long ago...b/c if it is true that she met him on that very first night in SA, I feel like she had some level of trust with him, as much as she is capable of perhaps, and to have that trust, it seems like she would have known him for a while...or had one of those quick intense getting to know you relationships. JMO.

BBM: I saw a woman asking for advise on the net that she wanted to put her baby up for adoption but the father didn't want to. The advise given to her was to seek counseling at a women's resource center or crisis pregnancy center as they offer counseling free of charge, without having to go into an adoption agency and feeling pressured.

ETA: Another goes on to state a bio mom's boyfriend would not cooperate so she went to Canada where they have different laws.

How long ago and where. Where would EJ frequent on the net, looking for changing her identity? She obviously had a Myspace account. So, she could have used her contacts there. Where else would someone go? I've never searched for these kinds of things, so I have no idea where to begin. Was it as simple as a friend saying "I know a guy, here's his email?" I know it's pretty common for people under 21 to try and get a fake ID, so I can definitely see a friend connecting her too. Surely a guy in SA is not the only person who could do that. I bet she could have had that done in AZ...and maybe she did.
Do we have confirmation that she had a fake ID? I remember an Elizabeth Jones early on, and a hotel clerk "thinking" it was a TX ID. Do we know for sure? I suppose it really wouldn't matter if it were fake, a person could make it for any state, so a TX ID could still have been forged in AZ.
I was just thinking that, if she met this person for changing her identity solely, and her next step was SA, was he a tagalong or her source? Too many darn questions...the answer is simple, I know it is.
Change your identity, and use a fake guy's identity, and pose as a couple, as parents? Or, change your identity and check into a DV shelter in SA for help adopting your child (with an assumed identity now) out.
I am having a hard time visualizing this guy. Someone she met, who does fake ID's, SSN, adoptions, and stays with you the whole time doing it? :waitasec:

I re listened to the vidoe where Mr. Gamble stated that EJ was "In the company of another man the MINUTE she arrived in SA". This makes me sway towards the fact it is/was someone she knew in AZ or picked up along the way. I'm thinking more like someone she knew in AZ that was willing to help her drive. That drive would be a 2 day trip unless you drove all day and most of the night. And having to care for an infant along the way would be hard to do in itself. If she left on the 19th and arrived and checked into the hotel on the 21st., this may make sense.

I wonder if the gas station witness saw him? He and EJ were seen in the SUV in SA though, so I would think he drove himself....or maybe rented?

But I agree, I think she knew him before the trip. Why isn't she giving him up? Was he someone she was seeing in AZ who also had connections for fake IDs?

what would be interesting to know from Mr.Gamble, was the man Hispanic,Caucasian,Chinese, Japanese...you get my point. I would think, possibly, if the man was Hispanic, would you not say so ? Just thinking....

That would be good to hear from his perspective. Many people can pass as hispanic, and in such a large hispanic community like SA, it would be easy to assume someone was a HG. IMO.
