The red rose - revisited

  • #121
I wonder if the rose was found near the railroad tracks?

I ask this because I can't help but to wonder about the dogs stopping at the railroad tracks. Could that suggest that she's is still near the railroad tracks, maybe buried so far underground that the dogs seem to lose the scent? KWIM?

If the rose was found in the same area, shouldn't LE tear up the ground near the railroad tracks? They tore up the ground near CS, so why not? You would've thought that LE would've done that where they found the rose. I just find it odd that Ron/Misty knew where it was. They knew the location of a single rose? Not a dozen roses but ONE single rose! That area, where ever it is, imo, is very important.

Did they take the shovel into evidence? I was reading an article from the media links and LE claimed that as of June they still had evidence that had not been examined? In JUNE? Why not?

Yes, Suspicious1, from what I understand, the rose was found just passed the rr tracks. The rr tracks the dogs led to and the rr tracks someone in the area saw a red truck that night. IIRC, one of the Croslins sold a red truck immediately after and doesn't TN have one, too? Or I might be thinking of the same one.

three red trucks....Sykes owns one which rc drived alot.
tommy drove his dad's red truck
I just learned that Tn had a red truck, I used to think that she just borrowed Sykes in that photo with cobra but it was pointed out that truck was a chevy and Sykes is a nissan..

rc and tn, imo, are the type of people that would go to the scene to make sure all is ok or to grieve. If they knew where Haleigh was buried, they may have visited, more than once.

I notice a few new cars around in the family. Wanna bet they thought that LE hid a GPS in their old car?

I'm not sure what you have in mind as to "near the railroad tracks", but the yellow square in the image below is the approximate length of 2 football fields on each side. Within this area would be difficult to conceal the type of activity you have suggested.

Please understand, in no way do I point this out as criticism of what you're saying because anything is certainly possible. It just does not seem to be a likely area to me.

Bayou Drive is just to the right, runs by that canal. That area is the closest I have seen to what I dreamed.

I have been over ever inch in this picture.....I have met 1 JIM within this pix and am waiting patiently for the other JIM to come to Satsuma and find Haleigh just outside a corner of this pix.

TY, CP. I've never seen that map of the area near the railroad tracks and was just thinking out loud. It does look quite open. I know that anything is possible but I don't think Ron or anyone else for that matter would take the chance of being caught trying to bury a body in that area.

So this area in yellow is where they found the rose?

Hey Bern, did you have a dream that Haleigh was in this area? Please tell me more.

No. As I understand GrannyL, who was with the search group, the rose was found within the yellow lines of the image below.

Not much to tell really. I posted about it in the dream thread, but I got the dream on the morning of the 8th. I got her name and that there were remains that would be found in a canal. I saw a young girl around her age, standing in spirit pointing to the canal. She was concerned about her younger brother. Fishermen found hair or bones tangled up in the roots of a cypress tree and there was a slab holding her down. So I still think it could be about her, but I saw a street sign, it said "Tree Line or View Dr" on it and it was sort of bend down or knocked over. There was a house or trailer across the way, I could see a garage door. There was a fireman there at the scene and he commented about it hitting home as his grandfather was murdered and something about him being hit in the face with a brick or something like that. But I never found this street, and the closet canal I see that looks like what I saw is on Bayou Dr. I posted a pick of it in my albums. It is very near where the yellow box is on that map, just to the right. I also had a dream about up North, I know if anything is dumped in that canal it leads to the St John river and it flows north. Some one said she will be found where the RR tracks meet the water, well that RR that crosses the river is the only place the tracks meet the water. Some times the river gives up what it has and some times she keeps it.

I went back to a few old articles to see what area this Rose was found at and it seems to be on private property. I wonder who's property?
I really wish that Jaq would of shared when she first heard of the rose. I find it interesting that Misty points TES to this location and the Rose is there. Common sense would tell anyone that the rose was placed there shortly before/after her LVA test. The wind/rain/and time that has past would of blown that rose away. Yet, as soon as Misty shares her info on the Rose, there it is.
I find it very disturbing that she would send send TES out there and then to hear from a third party who said she also heard the tapes. Jaq, claims that Donna Brock claims to have audio of Misty's conversations, claims Haleigh is dead, the body was first burned up before being disposed. From what Jacque said DB told her over the phone: That Haleigh is dead, and that the body was first burned up before being disposed of. A giddy Misty claims the area of the red rose was found as to where Haleigh's remains/ashes would of been found.
I feel this should be looked into a bit more, and who put the rose there????? Did LE get prints off the rose? Did they take the rose as evidence?

Does a Rose Hold The Clue To Where Haleigh Is? http://stephww.wordpress.com/
http://stephww.wordpress.com/2009/08/28/does-a-rose-hold-the-clue-to-where-haleigh-is/

"Snip" Mike Adams 8/29/2009 PUTNAM COUNTY, FL --
Misty Croslin-Cummings revealed a possible new detail. Croslin-Cummings mentioned something about a fake rose.Misty told searchers to look for Haleigh near a rose left in an undisclosed area in Putnam County.

Old article, I just keep seeing this Dunn's Creek lately...hope this area/church have been searched! Anyone know if this area is close to where the rose was found?
The family earlier said the ceremony will be at the Dunn's Creek Baptist Church in the town of San Mateo, which is just north of Satsuma, but the church said that wasn't the case. Now the family says it will be at a "secret location.">>http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/29657260/

I just posted this question in another thread but I want to ask a question about the rose. LE had found a shovel, which I believe was behind the mh. Ron seem so confident that Haleigh will not be found. I thought that Haleigh may be underground somewhere and my guess is , she is not far from that mh.

Ok my question is this:
If Haleigh is buried underground, wrapped in a plastic bag or even a blanket, would dogs still pick up on her scent/smell of decomp? Would it depend on how far underground she is?

How many wells are in this area? I think the dogs would have a hard time picking up the scent from one if it is deep enough...and have they all been checked? Just wondering as I haven't read anything on this topic yet. Was this rose near any type of well?

To Love, IMO I don't think Ron would bury or have Haleigh cremated. He likes the water and has stated many times if he ever killed anyone he would throw them over Dunn's Creek Bridge.
Who ever thinks like that. When was the last time you were driving down the road and decided if you ever killed someone where you dispose of them. There's something in the air down there.

LOL! I have been asking this question for the longest time. As far as I know, it hasn't been answered. I, too, thought that if a body was deep enough maybe the dogs wouldn't pick up the scent but there was another poster on here who explained that the dogs still would be able to pick up a scent no matter how far underground. I just don't know if I can believe this but that's what was said. Didn't the scrubs lady send in the note also talking about a well (directions to the well, I think)?

I understand about putting a body in a well. (well I don't but you get my drift) Why would someone opt for disposing of a body this way when the fast moving St Johns River is steps from where the victim went missing? Are they both the same?

Because a well is incredibly deep and most likely filled with water, and the odds of someone happening upon a body in a well are practically nil. But putting a body into a flowing river, where the rise and fall of the water, or the debris in the water, could serve to dislodge the body, or maybe a fisherman discovers the body, or just so many other things........A river is just not a good place to put someone if you don't want that someone to ever be found.

Most wells in FL are not that deep..the water table is high.

Question. Is it true that "Haleigh was once found floating in a nearby waterway and nearly drowned?"....
