Over the past week, Capt. Piscatello was admitted to hospital for an unknown reason. There was no word on why he was admitted and how long he will be off work.

An article dated 12-06-09 from the same news source stated...

Earlier today Capt Dominic Piscitello made the following comment:

"Someone knows what happened. We are not going to put this case on the shelf and let it go cold. I will assure anyone who wants to know that I personally will see that this case is on our mind, tongue, and heart every single day until we find her"

So is he still in the hospital and off work if he made that statement yesterday?

However, I took the liberty of doing a little transcription for those who might not be able to view the video for whatever reason.

Press Conference 2/19/09

In the beginning there is a little update from S Hardy about the SO that was arrested back then Timothy L, for "not being where he was supposed to be" then S Hardy lets everyone know that although he is a dangerous man, they haven't linked him to Haleigh's disappearance yet. Then S Hardy opens up the PC for questions

Female reporter: there's word out there that Misty Croslin has a relative that is a sexual predator can you confirm that and can you say whether or not you are talking to that relative?

S Hardy: I can tell you that WE ARE NOT GOING TO CONFIRM THAT HE IS A SEXUAL PREDATOR, but have we been in contact? Yes, we have.

Reporter: Out in Tennessee?

S Hardy : Yes Ma'am

Female Reporter: and this relative out of Tennessee can you give us the relationship to Misty?

S Hardy: I am not going to get into those particulars.

Female Reporter: Why is he being questioned? He was there around at the time?

S Hardy: Who are you referring to?

Female Reporter: Misty's relative.

S Hardy: We are questioning a lot of people, we are questioning a lot of family members.

Female Reporter: HE WAS VISITING MISTY?

S Hardy: (nodding) yes he was

Female Reporter: Is that why you are questioning him?

S Hardy: We are questioning a lot of people.

Male Reporter: Anything else turned up about the sighting of Haleigh in Tennessee? Has there been any change on that? At the Carabba's Rest.?

S Hardy: We haven't validated that ( which means they didn't rule it out either imo, just as they did the Colorado sighting of Haleigh.)

Female Reporter: Concerning the vehicles that you have in your possession, was that a red RAV 4?

S Hardy: I won't give any description of vehicles that we have in our custody(grinning)

Then someone asks if Misty is back in for questioning today(19th), S Hardy answers , yes.

Then female asks again about relative in TN, she wants to know if he left right after Haleigh went missing and could S Hardy relate his stay to the time line of when Haleigh went missing?

S Hardy: That question directly relates to our investigation, so please, I can't really say.

Female Reporter: (frustrated) Is he still in Tennessee?

S Hardy: (nodding) Right now he is still in Tennessee.

Many have posted that Cousin Joe was not a sexual predator, I searched for 3 days and never found that information anywhere. Sheriff Hardy himself said that they( PCSO) were not going to confirm that he was a SO, doesn't mean yes or no in my opinion) Misty said he "messed" with her, doesn't make him a SO, but they also were not going to confirm or deny Misty's claim. That is how I took it.

Also in this interview we have S Hardy himself stating that Cousin Joe was visiting Misty! Then when the reporter pushes for more answers clamsville. Note that there were various vehicles taken into custody.

I have to again say that Cousin Joe has information about Haleigh's disappearance, He knows something.

on a side note, about the pink shirt...i know, NOT AGAIN...lol. yes, i am going to bring it up again.

I have a hard time accepting that Misty found the shirt inside the home. notice when Hardy is asked about it, he answered a question with a question and then didn't answer it. (did that make sense?)

He was asked if Misty is the one who found the pink shirt inside the home. Hardy says what did misty tell the media? the reporter says that she found the pink shirt in the home. Hardy says well, that is part of the investigation, and we are not going to reveal that information. (i am not quoting Mr. Hardy)

so basically there is nothing revealed about the pink shirt....so we really don't know if LE found it or if Misty's story is true that she found it.... the problem i am having is that Misty, it is fact she has lied, what would make the story about the shirt truthful?

I just feel once you have been caught in a lie, your credibility is completely gone, or to me it is.

I think it's the complete opposite - the shirt was discovered by LE and she was faced with explaining why the shirt she claimed Haleigh was wearing was still inside the home. I think I might remember another member of Law Enforcement actually talking about taking Misty inside the home to explain about the sleeping situations on the night of Haleigh's disappearance, not sure though I will have to go look for it. : ) It also might have come from Misty that Law Enforcement walked her through the trailer to confirm sleeping arrangements.....I don't know I will have to look.

The pink shirt is intriguing to me as well. I once thought that Haleigh woke up after maybe wetting the bed, took the shirt off herself and threw it in the dirty laundry pile that TN says was always on the floor in front of the washer and dryer. If GGS actually did bring clean laundry over that night maybe Haleigh went to get a clean tshirt...?

Yes, once I discover someone has lied to me I truly have questioned everything they have since asserted, even when they were telling the truth.

Baznme..Ron C adamantly denied on national tv cousin Jo was ever at the MH that night.
To my knowledge, Misty has never stated he was there either eventhough in her LVA she does state that IF Tommy was there that night then Cousin Jo was also..
Cousin Jo returned to Tennesse the next day.. Apparently he wanted out of Dodge real bad...JMO

I have been trying to discover what he drove back to Tennessee, wonder if he is still driving it now?

From the look on S Hardy's face when the reporter asked him about the vehicles that PCSO took into custody, I am thinking there was more than one vehicle and something( i Pray) was found forensically.

Emeralgem, Sheriff Hardy answers a reporters query about Cousin Joe visiting Misty, he said that indeed he WAS visiting " Misty". When could that have been do you think, because Misty was away for the 3 days preceding Haleigh's disappearance and Joe left hours after Haleigh was gone.

2 things, I don't believe that Ronald would know who was at the trailer if he wasn't there, but on the other hand, If there was any chance at all that my child might still be alive, I wouldn't allow my suspicions or statements to put her in danger. jmo

Exactly Whisperer!!!! There is a lot going on with that shirt and exactly who found it.

Was it completely and freshly laundered?

Was it never worn at all?

Wasn't this the shirt that Haleigh demanded to wear which both had to drive all the way to Welatka that fateful day to retrieve for Haleigh and then drive her all the way to school.

Somewhere in this mess, we have a crowd of people that say that rc was driving recklessly that morning near the bus stop. WTF?

And to top it off, We have Haleigh allegedly spilling something on her shirt on the way to school.

Misty bragged to the press that SHE found the shirt in the laundry....Puhleese! CSI was there for 8 days prior...do you really think they didn't look in the laundry? Don't you think they received a complete description of the pink shirt misty originally said she wore that day? And furthermore, why wouldn't rc know what she wore that day. he drove her, fought with her over the clother she was going to wear, drove her a long distance to get it and also picked her up at the bus stop (or did he?)

There is so much info that rc has and he says he has nothing to say, he was at work..grrrrr.

I keep going back to the theory that this child got undressed somehow and could have drowned in the tub in the master bath.

Next question is why is rc denying a fight with JO or that he was even there. We know through the interview that JO WAS there. RC is lying......again. Misty at first said there was a fight...so did TN...of course they changed their story when it didn't put rc in the correct light.
