Well because IMO she of course wasn't abducted--and blanket, which may or may not have already accompanied Haleigh to whereever she was initially taken or had been in possession of party involved in disposal or cover-up, was used rather to wrap and transport her in.

AND why wasn't jr heard in the background or even mentioned by RC. He was out in the front waiting for mommy to come, unable to help LE, misty was talking to LE. Where was jr? Misty met rc at the door...no jr. She just left him there, knowing a stranger took his sister. That is very strange.

This has been a huge issue for me from the very beginning - Ronald pulls into the driveway, Misty is standing at the door, he asks her what she's doing up... He doesn't say "I pulled into the driveway and Misty and Jr. were standing at the door," So while Misty is standing at the front door waiting for Ronald to pull into the driveway and get out of his vehicle, the back door is still ajar with its outer screen door still propped open with a cement block, and Jr. is where?? Alone in the master bedroom - the bedroom where HaLeigh was only recently (supposedly) abducted from, right under Misty's nose. Misty claimed that when she noticed the backdoor open, she ran back into the bedroom in a panick... she has NEVER stated that she went to the backdoor and closed and relocked it. She wasn't worried about anyone coming in the back door and taking Jr. because no one ever came in the back door in the first place to take HaLeigh. I may not know exactly what happened that night/early morning but as far as the back door/intruder story - that NEVER happened IMO.

Why was misty standing at the door waiting for rc? Wasn't she calling people on the phone?

Considering they had a huge fight earlier, why would rc be hugging her and keeping her close to him while cameras are rolling. He even told people to leave her alone, it could have happened to them. WTH? To go from anger, trying to track misty down, she shut off her phone and his daughter is gone. He doesn't blink an eye but walks around with her like she is the greatest invention since French Toast!!!

.......even the most dedicated fan of ronald has to admit that this is strange and unusual behavior.

On the 911 call, he did not ask misty anything relating to the crime. He did not grill her. All he said was "how could you let my daughter get stole, *****?" He should have been screaming, "Where were you?"," I tried to call" "Why weren't you home?", Why didn't you answer the phone?" Instead he is putting things away and telling dispatch he has better people to talk to. I assume he met his family.'

If rc were the one to remove Haleigh, I suspect she would be someplace familiar. If the GP's removed her, I would think she would be dressed and buried. If misty removed her....Houston, we have a problem! I can't see misty doing it alone but I've surprised before. I think she would bag her and place her in the water.

On the 911, Misty had the big picture but knew nothing about details. There is a possibility that rc had removed Haleigh earlier. Misty came home, fell asleep. Ron came back and woke her and told her Haleigh was gone, the door was opened and the light was on. He told her to call 911...the rest is history. She does and she tells them exactly what he told he he noticed. With these two, it is difficult to get any beleivable facts. BUT if rc had a solid alibi, he wouldn't need legal help. So there is something very wrong with his story.

Ever get the feeling JR was not there. I wonder if he left with TN or Sykes after they removed Haleigh (that is if she was there). One more thing...I do not believe those cuts on rc's hands occurred at 3:30 am. I think they happened much earlier and he was covering (again) when asked. Did he really hit the door? They said there was an imprint, whatever that means. I saw no damage to the door. Why would you punch the biggest piece of evidence, anyway? He shows no self-control. No need for excuses. He should have had on Big Boy pants and helped Haleigh. He was worthless. He acting more like a grieving father than a worried one.

My only question about the crime happening outside of the trailer is why all the blanket washing and taking the one off the window plus making a big deal of cleaning up until bedtime? I guess Misty could have really left her blanket in a van then taken the kids with her and the two other blankets to cover with, but why the cleaning and washing....and why wasn't Haleigh's blanket taken with her when abducted ( or was it).

If it is true, Haleigh wore the hannah montana shirt to school and had on tan shorts on Monday, the 9th. It is possible and more than likely that misty did not find the shirt herself, unless LE put it there to see her reaction.

My reasoning is there were dirty clothes on the floor and rc was straightning things up before LE arrived, which may be why he didn't talk long. He may have picked up the clothes off the floor and put them out-of-sight. Kinda like the housewife who is getting unexpected company and throwing things in drawers...

Misty went from Haleigh was wearing p.j.s to a pink shirt and tan shorts to a pink shirt and underwear. When LE found the shirt a week later, it all had to be changed on the Amber alert.

Most teenage girls are very good and have excellent memories about clothing. They make excellent witnesses for description of perps. Unfortunately, they lose the ability by adulthood.

The back door(s) and the storyline presented in this case is completely illogical. There were actually 2 doors, an outer screen door and an inner solid door. Notice in the image below that the screen door swings to the outside and away from anyone exiting through it, while the inner door swings to the inside and towards anyone exiting through it.

Watch this video at the 4:15 mark and you will see that the CNN reporter actually has to step back as the inner door opens, AND the door is self closing.

From the beginning we have known that the outer screen door was propped open with a cinder block. Why was there no mention of a block holding the inner door open? After this video came out there was a likely CYA “maybe there were dirty clothes on the floor” offered by TN, but there’s no mention of the inner door being propped open by anything in the PCSO report.

(1) If Mr/Ms Anonymous Abductor lugged a 40 lb cinder block to the scene to commit this crime, why wouldn’t they prop open the door that would be the most difficult to navigate while burdened down with Haleigh?

(2) How did Misty see through a solid inner door that was SELF CLOSING to see a cinder block or “brick” holding open the screen door?

Misty Croslin: “Hi…umm…I just woke up…and our backdoor was wide open and I think…and I can’t find our daughter”...........

911: “OK…alright…You said your back door was wide open?”

Misty Croslin: “yes- it was bricked- there was a brick on the floor…when I was asleep it was not like that.”

911: Ok…the back door…listen to me…your back door was wide open…what are you talking about a brick?”

Misty Croslin: “(inaudible)”

911: “what is a brick?”

Misty Croslin: “it’s almost like– on the stairs- we have a walkway…”

911:” uh huh….and there was a brick laying there?”

Misty Croslin: “yes…it’s still there”

Ronald told the same story about the door.

CUMMINGS: I came in the house and immediately checked all the bedrooms, the bathroom, everywhere, just to be sure, and walked to the back door, it was wide open. As I walked out the back door, the screen door was propped open with a cinderblock.

IMO, everything about that back door was an illogical attempt to misdirect LE.

There are certain facts in this case which have very little explanation other than self serving intent to misdirect.

(1) It is fact that in the beginning both Ronald Cummings and Misty Croslin repeatedly stated Haleigh was sleeping in the same bed as Misty prior to abruptly changing their story.

(2) It is fact that Misty Croslin told 3 different versions of what Haleigh was wearing when she disappeared on February 9th.

(3) It is fact that despite LE stating no signs of forced entry, Ronald Cummings repeatedly claimed the back door was broken into, even theorizing about the use of a wrecking bar as a means of access.

(4) It is fact that for nine days of constant media statements and interviews, not one person mentioned that GGM Sykes had allegedly visited the trailer around 7:00 pm. It wasn't until the same day LE announced a tip of MC not being at home on February 9th that GGM stated “that’s a crock” and conveniently provided an alibi for Misty.

Where she was sleeping, what she was wearing, how access was gained, and who the last people to see her are all important central elements for LE to be able to effectively investigate Haleigh’s disappearance. The answers shouldn't be complicated and simply required the truth.

Unlike their statements, the truth never changes.

Papa, In all reality, if one thnks about it, GGMS didn't really provide an alibi for Misty, but she did provide one for Ron C by finally coming out and stating she went over there sometime between 7:00pm and 8:00pm that night and saw Haleigh eating her dinner on a screened-in porch, when it was cold and dark outside and that she was alive and well..
I highly suspect GGMS and TN both knew that Ron C had finally arrived at work by that that time..JMO

I can certainly see the possible merit in your point, but I can't get past the fact that not one word was mentioned about this alleged visit until the very same day that LE announced a tip that MC wasn't home.

Even if GGma went over between 7:00 and 8:00, that doesn't mean Misty could not have left AFTER 8:00 to go somewhere. It certainly is not an alibi for her whereabouts or Haleigh's, for that matter. And it also does not prove that Ronald was at work at that time. Waiting 9 days to report that information is strange... did they "just" remember? How convenient.

The sole purpose and intent however was to establish Haleigh "alive and well (...and sittin on the porch eatin w her plate hollerin 'hey granny,'") beyond the time RC could be safely presumed to have been at PDM. That in itself tells us it is RC, and not MC, for whom they felt the need to furnish an alibi. JMO

Concerning the GGMA's visit that night.

TN said, "I sent a family member over to check on the kids"...

This statement by her has evolved much later to, "my mother went over there to deliver laundry"...

I have suspected and feel strongly that RC called his mommy earlier, as soon as he knew something was wrong. Since TN does not live in the area, she called somebody to go check on the kids. For all we know, they could have been left alone when rc went to work...which, imo, was late because he didn't have a sitter.

But the way TN speaks "a family member?" it is a ploy and evasion of wanting to admit anything and she left an opening just to cover her butt.

I say if it is a fact that TN lives out of town and she lied to LE (can't be proven though) concerining her address, then it is pretty certain that RC is involved with a crime/coverup. No reason for her to lie about Pomona Park unless she was concerned they would nail on her time of arrival to the scene. This is what has driven me to believe that RC and TN know more about that night. I have checked many resources and TN is registered as living in Fruitland Park at the time. I can't win this argument because that 12 ft wide trailer is sitting there on Rita. Research showed Crystal Cummings living in it last year and Sykes name is on it also....go figure.
