Well, as much as I would like to sit and go back and wrangle over the honor of Ronald Cummings with you, I will just say, we can agree to disagree. I mean really, if Ronald had nothing to do with Haleigh, he would not be in prison right now, you can disagree all you want, but for some they can see the writing on the wall for this stellar fella!

I am well aware of the fact Ron C is serving 15 years for drug trafficking and not serving time for anything related to what he did to Haleigh, as sad and as difficult as that is to comprehend...However...
In reference to recent statements made by LE concerning Ron C and family, LE has recently stated Ronald Cummings has not told all he knows about what happened that afternoon/evening/night..He did not pass his LDT and LE has stated family members have not told the truth since day one.. So IMO LE has not cleared Ronald Cummings of harnming his daughter or cleared anyone in his family from being involved in a cover up.JMHO

By Ronald's family openly making this type of statement, they could essentially be calling LE on the carpet as to what evidence they have that indicates HaLeigh is deceased. LE's refusal to provide them with this answer/evidence could be (I personnally believe it is) a very strong indicator that LE suspects someone in the Cumming's family - otherwise they'd likely provide, at least to the family, the answer to this question. They are restricted from doing so for obvious reasons... JMO~

ETA: Just like TN tape recording conversations w/Peggy Cone, this is simply the Cummings familys' attempt to find out what/how much LE knows!

I agree Em. i think they not only accepted it, they have know for a fact all along, from the wedding to the trip to NY, to the arrest of Rc for drug trafficing. It seems they had no problem in accepting Haleigh's death. MOO

I see where you are coming from, I really do, I just also know that the cops dont have to tell the public the truth, and I think there was a great strategy in letting Ron feel so comfortable, he messed up big time and put himself in prison. And really,I heard the prosecutor, Rons awesome deal includes "truthful" testimony if needed at anything related to his daughter. Most loving Daddys would do that deal or no deal.

I am so happy every night that he is locked up and can never hurt anymore kids again.

Don't forget Hope's words to her mother:

Without a doubt, someone had her convinced they were getting away with something. At the time this was said I thought it was in reference to the drug charges, but in retrospect, it's hard to believe that anyone caught on tape selling illegal narcotics to an undercover officer could EVER think they were 10 steps ahead of that game.

What if the "game" Hope was convinced of getting away with was one which was much more sinister?

Wow. Papa I never caught that one! One would have to think that there was a reason for Hope to say this to her mother. I agree with you...if they were caught on tape dealing to an undercover NO WAY could she have thought that they were 10 steps ahead of game. I just don't believe that. So what was she referring to? I've heard quite a few people say that they heard the name Hope on the 911 tape...Some of them even swear by it...I, myself did not hear. Then there's that mystery 3rd voice on the tape..

I also agree with Dodie...maybe Hope being arrested wasn't a random act.
The way Hope talked about Ron, there's no doubt in my mind that she would do anything for him..TN did say she sent a family over....what if it was Hope? What if Hope was sent over there to deal with Misty? If Ron and Misty were arguing or fighting for whatever reason...I could see Ron or his mother sending over a female relative around Misty's age to deal with or intimidate Misty. I believe that there are quite a few Cummings members that knows the real deal...and because of that Misty is fearful..If you think about it: who did Misty have to back her up? Crackhead parents, Tommy, Timmy, and Chelsea...that's it.

I hate to speak ill of the dead, but IMO, Katrina was in the know of went on with Haleigh...when Hope says "WE'RE already 10 steps ahead of the game" maybe she meant them as a family...the whole family. It would make sense if you think about...hell, the case hasn't been solved in 2 years....so in all reality...it does look like they were 10 steps ahead of the game....and we still don't know what happened Haleigh...imagine that.

IMO..One would think grieving the death of an innocent precious child would have played on the heart strings of someone/anyone in that family too and they would give it up and tell the truth.. It's been over two years now and thus far, that hasn't happened.JMHO

Just my 2 cents for what it's worth.
I remember from the start when Misty mentioned a cousin and a lot were lead to believe she was speaking about JO. Looking back after all this time, I now wonder exactly which cousin she was actually talking about? When you start putting some of the information into perspective, it makes a little more sense than what everyone could have been thinking or trying to conclude in the beginning. jmo.

Misty was asking her mother to get her purse and phone from Katrina. Katrina supposedly drove off rather quickly following the smack down of Ron and Misty hugging the ground during their arrest. For some very strange reason she wasn't pursued and is not stated as a witness on any of the police reports.

I belive the article read that they weren't considered suspects....it is not the same as being "cleared" like the A/C guy. (who was cleared by 5-6am the morning HaLeigh was reported missing)

It seems this is a tactic used be LE to allow the perps to get comfy and mess up.

I don't recall LE using any time frame for the hours Ron worked.(but hey- after this long and practically no information from LE...i could be wrong) But you are saying 8pm-3am...Funny Ron's attorney says he was there 45 minutes early, and it was right after HaLeigh got off the bus that Ron bolted to work...(remember Ron saying, HaLeigh drove from the bus stop on his lap, and then they went inside, Ron (as loving as he is) kissed and loved on all of them, and HaLeigh told Ron--i will see you after work--never understood that comment either...she would have been sleeping why would she say she would see him after work?)or at least that is what he wants us to believe.

Yes two pings have been confirmed at the PDM towers, however, i would think that if there were somewhere around 20+ calls made by Ron to Misty while he was suppose to be at work operating a crane (if you belive he is a crane operator--which is what Ron would like people to think) and ONLY two of those 20+ calls pinged off the tower, then he wasn't where he said he was at the time he said he was there. I would also like to know why LE asked Ron why it took him so long to get home from work.

I also read the astrology forum, i agree on some of what has been posted in there, but i also disagree with some of the info in there. IMO, the only way to get the truth is to look at the Cummings/Sykes/Neves family.... they have been harbouring it for too long. And they claimed to LOVE HaLeigh.... actions speak louder than words in this case. JMO

BBM: Yep, you're right. The fact that there are reportedly ONLY two pings off that tower near PDM but Ron is reported to have made a multitude of calls plus texted messages all through the night is a major piece of evidence IMO. LE stated that they were satisfied with the hours in question concerning Ron's hours. That could simply mean that they have verified the exact time periods that Ron was actually at work vs. the time periods that he wasn't at work.

Yes, that was very suspicious. How did the UC's know Katrina wasn't mixed up in this in some way. No one will ever convince me that either these cops are stupid or extremely corrupt!

maybe they just didn't care because she wasn't a target? At some point, the uc cop and this crew went to a drug house and picked up pills, I think...I never heard about any of the house people being investigated either. Somebody who lived there wasn't a minor, I'm sure, so why no arrest? I remember LE saying more arrests were to come, but as far as I know, there's been nothing. It's not like Ron and Misty were robbing pharmacies, so where did the pills come from? I know CC claimed that Ron left pills laying around the house, but even if that's true, (I don't think so), where did they come from? MOO

MOO is that once they were at the center of a missing child case, most of their sources were hesitant to deal with them. I don't really have a thing to base that opinion on other than my suspicions that certain suppliers might decide it's in their best interests to distance themselves from anyone at the core of an investigation. Clearly they were still able to score, but I don't think it was as easy for them as it had been previously.

It might not be a crime if they didn't know a drug deal was going to take place, but surely hauling boodie would be a crime...kind of like leaving the scene of an accident. moo.
