In the second photo, it appears that there could be a carport that is attached to the rear of the home.

From previous pictures (not sure where I saw them), I think the 'carport' is actually the building you see by the tree in the bottom of the bottom photo. IIRC there was a picture with a white car parked on the left of the 'carport'. Not sure if it was a mustang.

I am new to WS and this is my first post. I've been following for this thread for a couple of weeks now, and I had a thought today that I had not heard discussed yet. I wonder if anyone local is aware of any new construction before or after Holly's disappearance?

It seems if this was a planned abduction (which IMO it was) whoever did it would have planned what to do after the adbuction. New construction could have been a way to dispose of her body (I remember a case not too long ago where someone was killed and put under concrete for a new patio). It could also be a way to hold her captive (obviously I hope it's this option) i.e. some sort of cage being built in a house/garage/shed.

It seems in a small community, someone would know of a person buying this material or working in their yard on something. I know construction projects are common, especially in rural areas, but this could be a red flag for residents.

In addition, in response to the "game changing" item, what if it was a receipt for construction materials pointing towards some sort of confinment structure? I seem to remember the family was optimistic about the find, so if LE had evidence that the abductor was building a place to hold her, wouldn't that give the family hope that she is alive?

My other thought on the game changing item would be a receipt for a large supply of food/water/supplies, pointing to a plan for keeping her alive as well.

Any thoughts on this would be appreciated!

I mentioned this a while back. We had a similar thing here with the murder of lotto winner Abraham Shakespeare. His girl friend is accused of killing him and burrying him under the new concrete slab in the back yard.

I can repost the aerial photo I have with less vegetation showing the surroundings better

Ok here it is. Greengreen, a local who used to post here thought my notes were pretty good. I ghosted in some approximate tree lines in blue. Even being a winter shot with dead foliage it seems easy enough to park a car to the bottom around the water which could get back to the main road easily enough. Possibly the car port is immediatey to the right of what looks like a white car. Perhaps it can be accessed from a door on the house? I cant see having to walk around the whole house to get there.

There appears to be maybe 2...one attached to the backside of the house. And a free standing "carport" (garage without a door) at the back of the property line.

Thanks Lashelle! That was actually the case I was thinking of, but I didn't remember the details until you reminded me.

Somethings I've been wondering about (bear with me on this, I am not saying anything the family) -
Looking at photos of the home, they appear to live well....
Considering the father's business is working with trees (thought I've never heard it really explained) there is no sign of any trucks, chippers, etc - around the house, which is another sign of living well, since the business can be kept offsite.
HB is a beautiful, well-groomed young woman who is furthering her education.
Taking all this into account, and after reading a previous post about the seedier side of the local underbelly -
Could there have been resentment against the family and what took place was done by more than one?
I base what I say upon my experience - when my family was relatively well-to-do moved into a very back woods neighborhood where we resented by a click of locals simply because we lived better than they did.

So, while I see most of the town's folks out searching and in support of the family, could there be that jealous click?

I'm not sure there's more than one carport, or I think, just based on the natural use of language, that we'd have seen some references to "one of the carports", rather than consistently just "the carport", which indicates there's only one. I dunno.

In the photos, there's a pool - considering how isolated the area, was there ever complaints of any locals spying on HB (if she used the pool)?

I've heard people here post about the family being "well-off" or "living well". Those terms can be rather subjective, but when I hear those terms, I do not think of the Bobo family. By all accounts they are an average, middle-class family. Both parents work. Holly's mother is a teacher. I've heard conflicting reports about whether the father owns his own tree-trimming business or if he is an employee. The families are members and by all accounts, very involved in their church. Both children seem to be doing what children from middle-class families do...graduate from high school, attend some sort of secondary education while perhaps work a part-time job. Although technically adults, both children still live at home with their parents. I believe that says a lot for the family dynamics of the Bobo family.

I think (like most of us), they're just doing the best they can with what they have.

This is a link that talks about the property and the value of the home. Not at all above average....

Has there been any mention of which school the mother works at? The link you've provided gives the distance from the house to nearby schools.

Thanks for this photo. I honestly believe there is a white car on the left and a dark or black car on the right side

That's what I was talking about! Thank you! I maxed my pc's memory trying to find a photo. It looks like the kind of building where (at least, in my area) people keep farm or excavating equipment.

There is stuff in that building. If it is where they keep cars its some distance from the house. I assume there is a back door to the house somewhere.

The one in the right stall could be the Mustang. I didn't see it at first, but there is a glint of chrome.

In my area in Texas they call those Pole Barns rather than carports. As a matter of fact I live on almost 12 acres and we have a pole barn. It is about an equal distance from our house as it appears this one is to the Bobo's house.

I don't know if this article from yesterday has been posted yet. Apologies if it has.

Local businesses offer support to missing student's family:

http://www.wkrn.com/story/14574561/local-businesses-offer-support-to-missing-students-family

"James Duke is the owner of Parsons Dairy Barn. He told Nashville's News 2 Bobo's disappearance has been unsettling to the whole community.

"It's unsettling to everybody. We don't know if it's someone from here or if it's someone not from here," he said."

I am glad Jane Velez-Mitchell is covering this case tonight.
I believe the perp wants this to fall off the national media.
I know many think Holly has gotten too much coverage. Indeed there are so many missing.
I think the reason for this is that there is a very good chance that Holly is alive and being held.
Please MSM keep this story on the front burner as much as possible.
I think Holly knows she is being searched for just like Elizabeth Smart did.
