IIRC earlier reports were in the carport at the back of the house, later report by one of the "blogger/reporters" was in the driveway in front of the house.

So I'm guessing we don't know if it was visible from inside the house or not. I wonder if CB saw her car.

Did he? I'm not so sure. He certainly did not expect to hear "strange" voices outside the house. He also did not immediately recognize the figures in the garage. It was enough to make him apprehensive. So, he called his mother. From the transcript:

VELEZ-MITCHELL: But you called your mom in between when you saw them in the garage and when they walked out into the woods? Why did you do that?

C. BOBO: I spoke with mom -- I spoke with mom initially to find out who the people -- I heard two voices outside our house and I called mom to try to find out who these people were outside our house. But I had no idea who they were.

I'm supposing that Clint and his mother were trying to piece things together. "It isn't Holly, is it?" "I'm not sure, mom." "She should be gone to school." "Oh, wait a minute, mom. I see Holly -- and Drew, I think. They're walking toward the woods. I guess they were in the garage for whatever reason."

I guess I don't see anything suspicious about Clint's behavior. I wish he had been bolder about investigating for himself. Then again, he doesn't seem to be the bold, aggressive type.

What about this part though? He thought it was Drew and Holly so why call mom? Why didn't he go and check what they were doing? Also note he says he was dressed in camouflage. So he saw the "silhouette" but it was clear enough to distinguish that the person was wearing camouflage? And then he sees the blood and he thinks it's the turkey that Drew had killed when he was told it wasn't Drew walking with Holly into the woods ? I'm very confused.

====

C. BOBO: No, I assumed -- I was inside the house and I assumed that that was Holly and her boyfriend Drew and he was dressed in full camouflage so I thought that Drew had been to the woods and killed a turkey and brought it back to the house and the two were sitting there over the turkey talking. After I saw the blood, I thought that was blood of a turkey that Drew had killed.

VELEZ-MITCHELL: Did you see the turkey? Or there was no turkey.

C. BOBO: No, it was gone.

Anybody remember Colorforms? Omg I'm really dating myself. Anyway, that's what we need, so no matter whose version of events we're considering, we can move everything around to where that person/article/entity/whatever says it was.

dang my colorforms set didnt have a turkey

Again one of those crazy coincidences. The one night that they're not together, she disappears the following morning. Same with Celina Cass. The sister doesn't sleep at the house on that same night and the following morning Celina disappeared. :(

It also says the Bobos will be on tv tomorrow/Saturday morning

and more bizarre details from that interview:

"We are hearing new details about what may have happened to Holly Bobo in those moments police believe she was forced from her home.

The information comes from Holly's parents, who suspect at one point even a decoy was used to confuse investigators."

But he knows his little sister is home. Doesn't he wonder about her, if she is ok? Why call his mother? I just don't get that. My kids are the same age as them, roughly. Son, 23 and DD 19. If my son heard strange voices out in the carport, the dog was barking like crazy, and he didn't see his sister in the house, he wouldn't call ME at at work--he'd open the darn door and say HEY, what's up, sis are you ok? And he would probably have his rifle alongside.

I've got to admit that my thoughts are running very parallel to yours. I have not followed this case consistently but every once in a while I do check in to catch up and I do watch interviews or news casts on this case as well. As I listened to Holly's brother give his account of what happened that morning on JVM's show, he sounded like a very young teen, not as I would expect to hear from a grown man. It is difficult for me to understand as to why he did not investigate a bit further on hearing the dog bark and seeing silhouettes? in the garage?? Somewhere in the posts I read that the garage had been converted into a room. If this is accurate, then maybe a window was left in the wall between the inside of the original home and the garage and this is how he saw silhouettes?? Sorry, but how do you actually see a silhouette? I can't help but think about someone using their hands to make forms behind a sheet with a light behind it. Could he mean shadows? Also, is he still referring to the converted room as the "garage" although it is really an enclosed room now? I'm really having a problem with a grown man not investigating a strange noise at his home, but instead, calling his mother. Another question I have is, why did the mother talk with Holly's boyfriend that morning? Throw the tomatoes because I'm sure these questions have been gone over with a fine tooth comb but just remember, sometimes fresh eyes see things a bit differently.

Whoever kidnapped her also could have told her that he would hurt her brother .
I am so frustrated with this case as everyone else is too .
I just wish they would find poor Holly .
I live in MA and she is rarely reported on here

Ok from last night's interview with JVM

http://transcripts.cnn.com/TRANSCRIPTS/1108/04/ijvm.01.html

This should "clear up" some details about what was said THIS TIME:

as to how Clint saw Holly and camo man in the garage (edited for clarity):

VELEZ-MITCHELL: And you walk into the garage?

C. BOBO: No, I saw them from inside the house and they were outside the house in the garage.

VELEZ-MITCHELL: They were in the garage or outside the garage?

C. BOBO: They were inside the garage.

VELEZ-MITCHELL: So where did you find the blood?

C. BOBO: It was in the garage, under where I saw the silhouette of them kneeled down in the garage.

VELEZ-MITCHELL: When you saw them kneeling down did you think to ask them or approach them? How far away were you?

VELEZ-MITCHELL: Ok, now, ok, is the garage attached to the house or is it a separate, detached garage?

C. BOBO: It`s attached to the house.

VELEZ-MITCHELL: It is attached to the house.

C. BOBO: Right.

So... the blood was in the garage... the garage is attached to the house...

Where was Hollys car? Was the spilled coke can in the garage or by the car?

Can't wait to hear this one.

Yep, it also was in the JVM transcript all along:
D. Bobo: And as far as the lunch bag found that far away and some more stuff, I believe that was just more likely thrown out for a decoy.
My mind got stuck on the JVM - C. Bobo exchange and hasn't switched gears all day.
JVM: Did you see the turkey? Or there was no turkey.

C. Bobo: No, it was gone.
:ohoh:

I would like to start a rumor that there was a turducken in the lunch bag.

  • #318
So this man was basically arrested for not reporting/being where he was supposed to be, I assume? Most likely not the 180-200lb. man Clint described...(not the turkey, either...)

What is the news in this article? I have always assumed that the lunch thing was tossed out as a "decoy" of some sort.

Was yesterday the frist time we heard for sure that the blood is Holly's?

Also, what is this law about the TBI not having to tell the family anything? Is that actually a law?

JVM needs to have her questions written down and not offer mutliple choice answers as she asks them...she has never improved, in all of these years of having a show...

I know. He could've said No I was mistaken, there was no turkey but instead he replies, "it was gone"?

Maybe he was just nervous and overwhelmed during the interview. IDK

There are definitely some holes in the story. Seeing the camouflage man, the turkey, the kneeling, the dog barking, calling mom, Holly's blood, the perp taking her into the woods, the lunchbag found 8 miles away, the cellphone, Drew not Drew. :banghead:
