So this man was basically arrested for not reporting/being where he was supposed to be, I assume? Most likely not the 180-200lb. man Clint described...(not the turkey, either...)

What is the news in this article? I have always assumed that the lunch thing was tossed out as a "decoy" of some sort.

Was yesterday the frist time we heard for sure that the blood is Holly's?

Also, what is this law about the TBI not having to tell the family anything? Is that actually a law?

JVM needs to have her questions written down and not offer mutliple choice answers as she asks them...she has never improved, in all of these years of having a show...

First time I hear the blood was Holly's. As for JVM, I think many times they just want to cram what I believe would amount to a 2 hour show into 10 minutes worth (or less) for each case. And that's excluding commercials.

Yes when LE did a check up on local RSO's this guy was found to be missing... and missing for a number of years, so they went looking for him.

Im not sure I buy the decoy bag idea. Because if it were a decoy plant in that direction it still means the suspect was there at that location anyway. Its not like the bag got there by itself.

Yes this is the first confimation or statement that the blood was Holly's.

No, LE does not have to tell anyone anything.

And I agree... JVM's qustions arent the most hard hitting and to the point and when she gets a murky convoluted answer she just lets it slide.

Ok, I'm going to venture out there for a moment. Maybe Holly was struck in the face as she attempted to get into her car and that is why she is seen by her brother kneeling on the ground. Suspect knelt beside her, threatened her life if she did not follow him into the woods. Ok, I've gotten that far..........I'll keep on a bit.

Hi. I heard a news report today that they arrested a guy as you peeps have been discussing. I got excited and came here to read as I've been out of commission for awhile.

Thank you for posting the link to the JVM interview transcript as I missed the show. As I read the transcript, I noticed that DB made only one comment. I'm not sure if anybody else has mentioned this as I've not read all the posts. Dana seemed to imply that he thought maybe somebody knew when he himself left the house and then watched Holly leave. In other words (but I'm not sure because I didn't actually hear him speak), it seems as if he may have implied that somebody was watching as he left and then waited for Holly. Did anybody else catch that? I wonder if DB has someone in mind. I heard way back when that he had to fire one of his employees. Could it be that he suspects that person?

What stuns me is that Holly's parents don't know if LE found her phone or not? Are you kidding me? If they truly do not know if LE found Holly's phone or not, then we have a huge problem.

As the parent of a missing child, I would be hysterical to know every piece of info available. I would pitch a fit if I didn't know what they had found...

Ok from last night's interview with JVM

http://transcripts.cnn.com/TRANSCRIPTS/1108/04/ijvm.01.html

This should "clear up" some details about what was said THIS TIME:

as to how Clint saw Holly and camo man in the garage (edited for clarity):

VELEZ-MITCHELL: And you walk into the garage?

C. BOBO: No, I saw them from inside the house and they were outside the house in the garage.

VELEZ-MITCHELL: They were in the garage or outside the garage?

C. BOBO: They were inside the garage.

VELEZ-MITCHELL: So where did you find the blood?

C. BOBO: It was in the garage, under where I saw the silhouette of them kneeled down in the garage.

VELEZ-MITCHELL: When you saw them kneeling down did you think to ask them or approach them? How far away were you?

C. BOBO: No, I assumed -- I was inside the house and I assumed that that was Holly and her boyfriend Drew and he was dressed in full camouflage so I thought that Drew had been to the woods and killed a turkey and brought it back to the house and the two were sitting there over the turkey talking. After I saw the blood, I thought that was blood of a turkey that Drew had killed.

VELEZ-MITCHELL: Did you see the turkey? Or there was no turkey.

C. BOBO: No, it was gone.

VELEZ-MITCHELL: Ok, now, ok, is the garage attached to the house or is it a separate, detached garage?

C. BOBO: It`s attached to the house.

VELEZ-MITCHELL: It is attached to the house.

C. BOBO: Right.

So... the blood was in the garage... the garage is attached to the house...

Where was Hollys car? Was the spilled coke can in the garage or by the car?

:waitasec: I'm just a bit confused here. Holly's brother thought that Holly and her boyfriend were kneeling in the garage looking at a bleeding turkey on the garage floor?????? Who on earth would throw a freshly killed, bleeding turkey on someone else's garage floor? Who on earth would kneel down on a hard garage floor with clothes on suitable for a classroom to examine a dead, bleeding turkey???? What???? Was Holly expected to give CPR to the turkey????? I'm sorry but don't hunters usually put freshly killed game inside of a game bag? A better question here I guess is who the heck would think that someone would throw a freshly killed, bleeding turkey on someon else's garage floor, then kneel on that, most likely concrete, floor with his girlfriend, who is dressed for school, to examine a freshly killed turkey? I'm sorry but I just don't see it.

Hmmm...could someone that Holly knew have approached her, offered her a Coke, drugged her in some way, and then guided her into the woods in a weakened state? I doubt it. But heck, I can't figure this out.

Oh, do you mean the turkey stuffed with a duck who is stuffed with a chicken????

So there was a turkey, a duck and a chicken in a bar.....

Holly's mom did pause before she said she did not know if the phone was found...I wonder if she was not supposed to reveal this, although why, I can't imagine. Why it should be a top secret whether or not her phone was found after four months is beyond me.

As far as the turkey-we don't know if there WAS a turkey...Clint thought maybe that was why they were squatting down or whatever...and then there was no turkey when he went outside, just some blood...

JVM knows exactly how much time she is going to give each story, and should be better-prepared. I know she means well, as she keeps having this family on, she gave time to Michele Le's family, etc...but she is just BAD at it. What is wrong with being prepared? This family in particular is not coming on to lead a discussion, that much is clear...the interviewer has to take charge, ask clear questions and WAIT for an answer.

About TBI-I know they don't have to tell families anything, I thought it odd that Holly's mother has said, more than once now, that there is a LAW that says they don't have to tell them anything...that seems weird, like something TBI keeps telling her...JMO

Well LE is not required to tell family ANYTHING about ANYTHING. So, when they Bobos say "I don't know" it can mean 1) they don't know... 2) they know but can't say because LE has told them not to divulge this info.

I think a lot of BOTH are going on here with the whole story. Sometimes it seems like they are trying to talk but talk around certain words or details. And sometimes it just seems they don't know. And like last nite it jsut sort of slipped out that the blood found was Holly's... there had been NO prior confirmation on that before. In fact LE had been very tight lipped and purposefully avoidant on that detail.

NOTE: NO TURKEYS WERE HARMED IN THE MAKING OF THIS POST

Yes, also a stun gun, chloroform, injection of something (perhaps perp was also a nursing student, or med person)... and probably other ways one might learn in Army Ranger or Navy Seal training....

I'm becoming more convinced that these rural Southern towns need to call the NYPD whenever one of there own disappears.

This is the same thing over and over again. Tara Grinstead, Haylee Dunn, Haleigh Cummings and now Holly Bobo. All of these cases have fallen apart. The perps in the South must be a lot smarter than we think None of these cases, imo, are stranger abducitons but for some reason the cops can't seem to get the people to talk.
