Is it possible that Clint has something like Aspergers Syndrome? My teenage son has AS and while in some ways he is a typical teen, in others he is still like a little kid. I could see him in a situation where he would call me about something other teens would just handle on their own. Hopefully he'll be on his own by the time he's Clint's age, but maybe he won't be ready yet. Anyway, just a thought!

IIRC, Clint had just returned home from college the previous night. He would not have been familiar with Holly's routine. Since nothing seemed amiss (e.g., Holly wasn't screaming or banging on the door, and he didn't hear anyone yelling threats), Clint was probably hesitant to interfere. So, I can understand why he'd prefer to call his mother and ask her if it was normal for the BF to be visiting just before Holly left for class. MOO

Is it true or rumour about CB returning home from college that night? Anybody have a link ? TIA

Nothing to suggest he has any type of developmental disorder.

Ok 2 things to ponder.... Everyone keeps saying they feel the lunch bag is a decoy..... I would love to ponder it a different way.

What if it was Holly who through the lunch bag out of the vehicle so that LE would be able to help find her? She is a nursing student and knows the value of trace evidence, what if she cut her finger or something and made sure blood got on the lunch bag so they would know it was hers, then when she was able through the bag out of the window? Didnt Dana say something about other things were found too?

Speculating only but in the transcript CB never confirmed it was Holly that left the "garage". He assumed it was because he saw them walking into the woods after he had spoke to his mom. The transcript also suggests there was 2 calls to KB from CB. I cant see the transcript to point out exactly what he said I will comment back in a moment. This all still brings me back to the same point. He heard 2 voices he DIDNT RECOGNIZE. I would recognize my sisters voice anywhere.....who were the 2 voices?

I think it's fair to assume one of the 2 voices was Holly. LE is looking for one abductor and not 2. Furthermore, there is evidence that Holly was lead into the woods per Clint and her items were found there so I believe she was there.

A couple of thoughts:

As previously mentioned by another poster and pondered by myself as well is the time factor. This abductor was bold. If we believe Holly's dad's opinion that the perp was someone familiar with the comings and goings of the family, he would've known CB was home, the family had weapons and a barking dog. He took a heck of a lot of time to accomplish his deed...taking major risks at getting caught. An inexperienced stranger kidnapper or someone the family knew and if caught, he would make up an excuse as to why he was there or he had a weapon and didn't care? Also, the vehicle being left at another location. Why didn't he just grab Holly from the carport and take off in his vehicle? Why did he allegedly park somewhere else, lead her into the woods to then put her in the car? Was it a vehicle someone would recognize and that's why he did it this way?

If Holly was injured wouldn't there be a blood trail?

Sigh, so many questions. Where is she? :sigh:

LOL, Whisperer, I'm a Southerner, and I don't know if I'm suppose to be insulted or proud..............just kidding you.

Ah, I'm insulted.

Let's not bash LE, ok peeps? I believe WS's does not care for that.

I wish LE would give an update on where they are with the investigation. If they don't think the SO has anything to do with Holly's disappearance, what else are they doing to locate her?

I do find it odd/interesting that after 4 months of pretty much total silence the family is now making the TV circuit rounds. I don't have a problem with that, but I think the appeals and discussion should have come sooner rather than later. And as a result of them speaking out they have been on some national shows. Its a good focus. So why such a delay and then why say so much now?

I live in the South and am no fan or local LE for a variety of reasons. If you think they can help you if you call 911, read about Denise Amber Lee... Her story is somewhat similar to Holly's.

Using this post to jump off of-

Local and state LE evidently went as far as notifying federal LE about the one RSO in the area that they could not account for- who subsequently was arrested by federal LE- so I would imagine they are doing everything they can, that is normally done in an investigation of a kidnapping.

FWIW- I'm familiar with LE in the south, the northeast, the west coast, and most places in between.

Everyone has issues with LE. But that doesn't mean that the majority of LEO's are slack in their job. Perhaps many people do not realize how dedicated most LEO's are in their pursuit of aiding victims of crime or accident.

Listening to the video, when Clint talks about the turkey, it sounds to me like he says, "They was gone" rather than "It was gone".

Yes they did but he is no where close to the perp CB described. Glad they got him but unfortunately, they don't have reason to believe he has anything to do with Holly's disappearance so...........what's next? That was my point in my post.

Yes, he says "they was gone". That clears up that issue. He was referring to Holly and the perp and not the turkey.

No, there was no turkey. He thought it was Drew showing Holly a turkey but it turns out it was Holly and the perp doing what? Who knows. :sigh:

I would think LE has now crossed all local RSO's off of the list of possible persons responsible for Holly's abduction. So they are likely looking at other possibilities.

Let's hope so. This case will go cold if the Bobo family doesn't keep up the pressure, imo.

They must have a wealth of evidence in their files. The perp must've left all kinds of tracks. Footprints, fingerprints (if he's the one who threw the lunch box) DNA (if Holly put up a struggle), tire trackings, blood trails?

I know... am kidding. The whole turkey thing is weird/funny

But getting back to the garage... ok how did he see them in there? Did Clint open a door and look in? The garage is attached to the house. Was a door open and he looked in? I would think if he had opened a door the people in the garage would have seen him. Were they kneeling to hide? Kneeling doing something else? Kneeling because Holly had been injured? And it might be an issue of semantics but were they kneeling or squatting? there is a difference. I'd think you would squat down quickly or to do something quickly... kneel if you were going to be there a while. Could Clint have interrupted the assault or a possible sexual assault? How did the man get into the garage? It seems, based on proior discussions and the few photos of the front of the house, to be enclosed. So did he break in?

Could be. Maybe that's why they initially said it was a home invasion?
