I do live in a small town with many friends of both sexes who turkey hunt.

To be blunt, if she were dead, dogs would have found her by now.

.
.

Loved reading your insight, Snow. I'm not sure I agree with this point, though. I can think of quite a few cases when a missing person turned out to have been dead for quite a while, and dogs weren't the reason that person was eventually found. In most of the cases I'm thinking of, dogs were used at some point, but the location where the body was later found wasn't near the place where anyone was searching.

Think of the Morgan Harrington case, for instance. I don't remember the details about whether or not dogs were used, but tracking dogs would have only tracked her scent to the bridge, and I don't know if the kind of trailing dogs that are used for scents in cars were ever used. Also, cadaver dogs obviously didn't find her on Anchorage Farm, so if they were used it either wasn't an area that was searched or it was searched before her body was placed there.

To say that the dogs would have definitely found her by now if she were dead, we'd have to know the details about what types of dogs were used, exactly where they searched, and frankly, where Holly is, which of course would mean she's no longer missing.

I'm not trying to be argumentative, because I do see where you're going. I believe Holly's not far from home, whether or not she's alive, but I just had to make the point that we have no idea what happened, she could have gotten on a plane and been killed somewhere else, etc., in which case dogs used in Darden/Parsons wouldn't have found her (I don't think she got on a plane, just an example scenario).

I see your point that IF she were dead in the area that was searched, the dogs likely would have found her. However, we don't know where she is, so she could be dead somewhere else, and we also don't know the details of what kinds of dogs were used where, so she could unfortunately be dead near hometown, and if dogs weren't used in the right area, they wouldn't have found her.

It's been described as a "lunch purse". It could have been on her shoulder. Cell phone could have been contained in bag or pocket or something, and if not, I suspect she'd do her darndest to keep it with her.

She was already bleeding.

If she stopped to pick up her purse, etc., that indicates the perp was being kind and thoughtful. When Eliz. Smart was snatched, the perp let her get her shoes so her feet wouldn't hurt when they walked in the hills. Disorganized perp.

An organized perp with an impulsive, enraged edge would not have wanted her to take them.

I don't see how dogs would have been of much use if she was quickly put into a vehicle, as seems to be the case here...she could have been left anywhere, after that...

I have a gut feeling that neighbor who heard holly scream would have called the Bobo home first. She had to go look up the main office at the school to notify Karen. This is much wasted time. Had Clint already notified his mom before the neighbor told Karen.

Did she try to call the house and there was no answer. If so, why not? I would like to see that conversation on paper. What is the reason there is no transcript or release of any of the 911's?

My gut is telling me she got into a vehicle in the driveway...

Are her keys missing....not expecting an answer from LE..I know the routine.

One thing that stands out to me is that Clint never said there was someone in the house.

We need a language interpreter to decipher what he's saying. Now a garage seen from the kitchen window is most likely a family room. Who know what a silhouette is going to turn out to be..

I recall at the very beginning hearing (not reading) that there was blood splatter but it was on the leaves of the lawn. Now, I had a hard time with that because grass blades are tiny. I think it was said by LE....but, if true, we have a trail.

I'm beginning to wonder if Holly spent most evenings with her BF and only comes home in the morning. If so, that makes this even more suspicious.

How far is the father's business from his home? I just read that he doesn't own but works for a company.

How far does Drew live from the Hobo home? What did Karen do after hearing from the neighbor? LE must have had at least x3 911 calls. Who called the father and when did he come home?

My questions are going to be rhetorical...as I don't think I will get the answers.

Her boyfriend's mother or grandmother (?) made a remark about it being the first time they had been apart in a year, but not sure if she meant the night of the 12th, or the night of the 13th, once she was missing. And Holly's mom had already spoken to the BF even before she spoke to Clint, either on the phone or in person, so maybe he was there that morning as well? Of course it was not clarified...

Karen knew where Holly was @ 4:30am. She told us Holly was studying for an exam. I wonder what Karen was doing awake. I wonder what, if anything, happened between 4:30am and 7:30am? Do they lock the doors when they leave each day?, would be a good place to start.

eeks!...all I have are questions.

Blood found:

1. In family room/garage
2. next to car
3. on lawn

She screamed when injured. Scream @ 7:30am. Is that a solid fact?

I don't know if this is in reference to figuring out what he means by his statements or if you mean someone to interpret his accent (haha, sorry, just didn't want to look stupid if I was responding to the wrong thing).

If you meant the first, there is actually a website where someone who does this breaks down her interpretation of what his statements might mean and what she makes of every little word that is used and the way that it's said. I wanted to bring it on here, but I don't know if I'm allowed to since it's just one person's opinion and not fact.

I got the impression (I think from the recent interview), that when Karen talked to Holly sometime after waking, Holly told her she had been up since 4:30 studying. Not that Karen woke at 4:30 and saw it.

C. BOBO: And then I got in touch with my mom and found out that Holly was supposed to be in school that morning and realized that that must have been her at the house and then I looked back out and saw Holly and a male walking towards the woods and that`s the last time I saw her.

okay...here is where I don't get it. Clint was watching silhouettes in the garage/family room, but I digress. He calls his mom because he hears their voices and isn't sure who they are. After he hangs up he sees them walking into the woods. He had to be looking out a different window to see this. How much time elapsed before he saw them enter the woods.

That means they didn't go through the kitchen but went out the front door and walked around the house and into the woods. The dogs did not track her even on the edge of the woods. He didn't hear them leave the garage and go out the door? This garage is a sealed unit from the pics I saw. It is a converted garage..an addition to the home. How did they get into and OUT OF the garage w/o Clint seeing them. When he called his mom and she told him she spoke with Drew and he wasn't there, what did he do. He saw them go in the woods, then he goes in the "garage" and sees blood and then he calls 911. Le didn't arrive till 8:30am.....long time.

I'm guessing he called his mom appr. 7:45am. The very first call to 911 came at 7:59am. Why so long. The neighbor, mom and clint waited to notify.

If Holly left the house and was abducted at 7:30, I can't for any reason seeing her unlocking the front door and taking her abductor inside. I guess I need a better shot at the garage but from what I could tell there was no door on the outside.

"Well at first I thought the guy she was walking with was her boyfriend, then I realized that, too late, it was not her boyfriend, after she had been abducted," Clint Bobo said.

I’m struck strange by this for some reason.

I would like to know the dynamic between Clint and Holly’s bf – Drew. I wonder how Drew reacted when he found out Clint had named him as the person walking with Holly into the woods.

It was from the JVM show. I think it was Aug. 4. Clint spoke about it. He said the silhouettes were kneeling down over something (turkey?). Later when he inspected the area they were kneeling, he found blood. He thought it was turkey blood. Some time (how much?), don't know, he called 911.

Problem is two keys aren’t talking to the public:

Drew and the neighbor who heard the scream.

And it is a small southern rural town. They don’t like talking to strangers, believe me, I know. And they like their secrets, which are usually protected by the...
