I am going to throw this out there not because I have a side that I am taking however I was a troubled teenager (not this troubled) but troubled. I said things for shock value I said things so people would be afraid of me because I was bullied a lot when I moved from a private school to a public school. I am sure if I didnt go to a private school that was Christian based I might have said the things she has said in those letters. In anger I used to utter things that when I think back now I cant believe. I really think that she was really trying hard to be accepted by anyone and the gang that she so called was affiliated with I dont actually believe she was. There are so many kids that act and talk the way she does, this doesnt make a difference in my opinion of her.
I dont condone a thing she has done is is wrong but I think the defence wants shock value and most people if they are in the jury and they are older will not understand that most of crap she said was just that "crap"
She was a child that doesnt have a father, her mother was a prostitute and she gave her up to a druggy. She raised herself pretty much and I am sure she was bullied a lot and she went through sexual abuse and drug use at a young age. What is expected of someone that has lived a life like this???
Even with all that is said I really don't know what happened but I wouldn't be surprised if we find out it really wasn't her that killed her.
She was a bigger girl, why not go after Rafferty with that rage? Was it because of what he was telling her to do? No one will ever know the truth I dont think.
In the end justice needs to be served no matter what, whatever part either of them had they did something that is inhumane and should never see the light of day.
