Two mothers: a picture is worth a thousand words

That's what mine said. The only one I got wrong was a computer programmer who I guessed as a serial killer. So maybe I have not lost as much as I thought I have when it comes to instinct about people. If anything, perhaps I'm a bit too suspicious! Or maybe it's just a game and I was lucky!
I find it interesting, however, that they compare computer programmers with serial killers. Maybe because both lack emotion, in a way, I don't know. Of course, it's not really that they lack emotion - computer types tend to be stoic, and serial killers feel great emotion for themselves and no on else, usually, so since they know they don't feel the way others do, they keep their faces impassive rather than blowing it by showing what they really feel which is often very, very off.

*snip* :)

Maybe it's those big industrial looking glasses with the heavy frames and thick lenses most of them are wearing! lol

I got 9/10 too, but I guessed on quite a few, especially the ones who looked like harmless old men, figuring they were a red herring. I recognized the son of sam guy, but that was it.

Then again, these were simple head shots, and just one. I wouldn't have looked at any of Terri's facebook photos and thought she looked like a killer. It's not her face; it's not even her eyes. Just her reactions and expressions in the context of a recent child abduction.

What would be really interesting would be to show that video from the first PC, with no sound, to a group of people who have never heard of Terri, Kaine, Desiree, Tony or Kyron. Have them describe what they think is happening and what each of the people is thinking or feeling, just based on what they can see. I wonder if they'd get hinky vibes off Terri?

The killer test shows most of the normal programmers with their eyes matching their smiles. It was hard to tell on the Russian one though and the ones where his eyes couldn't be seen. The killers seem to either have a wild look in the eyes or their eyes look the same all the time and don't match the smile, but just look sort of dead. I think Terri's eyes look the same in all her pics and so does her smile. Neither one looks to be very happy, but could be her facial structure. Not really happy eyes or happy smiles even though smiling. It's hard for me to tell anything with her pics or TV appearance about being a killer or not.

This may be a timely date to make the point that Jacqueline Kennedy never shed a public tear on the day of her husband's assassination nor at any point in the 3-day funeral. I would agree that it is possible that the body language of these people might say something about the relationships among them; I can't imagine my husband's ex wanting me draped all over her, for example. There was lots of tension there long before Kyron disappeared. We can notice tension, awkward poses and body language, but I don't think we can "interpret" what TH was thinking as she looked up at Desiree. If guilty, TH might have been shocked at the depth of emotion she saw in Desiree or she may have been gauging D's reactions in order to respond (a psychopath move, that would be) or she might have been getting ready to speak or D might have just said something and TH looked at her. Or she might have heard something that made her want to look at D to see if D suspected her. How do we know? If innocent, TH might have felt guilty and awkward because she was the person who took Kyron to school and was the last in the family to see him.

Even if we get conclusive evidence that TH is guilty, how can we know what was in her mind at those moments frozen by photographs?

Jackie Kennedy held herself with decorum at all times. Terri Horman sexted with her husband's high school chum not even a month after her beloved step son went missing!
Jackie Kennedy tried to use her body to shield her husband's after he had been shot. Terri Horman attempted to have her husband murdered.
Jackie Kennedy was a private person who was raised in an atmosphere of gentility; someone who would never dream of spreading her familys' dirt out to the general public. She valued her privacy and that of those she loved. Terri Horman apparently talked to anyone who would listen about how horrible her life was with Kaine. When she couldn't get rid of her husband, she did the next best thing and got rid of the "thing" she felt came in between them; his son.
I doubt Jackie Kennedy would be flattered by the comparison of these two women.

Let's get back on topic here please this isn't about the Kennedy family. xoxo

This thread is getting derailed.

I think there has been enough comparisons or non-comparison discussion.

I apologize. I didn't see your admonition until after I posted it. (sometimes something just makes me hit fast reply!)

OK MM :grouphug: Let's get back on the right tracks now everyone...... Thanks.

I didn't realize that Terri had already had the polygraphs and was worried about being questioned before the press conference where she hung onto Desiree. Since Kaine truly believes that there is a personality disorder, if she does have one, that could influence how she looks and behaves when she feels people are blaming her. Desiree was consumed with worry, but Terri could have been overly freaking out about being blamed due to a personality disorder. I know that's not the only reason they suspect her, but could account for some the look and behavior in the videos and pics with Desiree.

Well, I got 100% correct! It said my liver was safe from Hannibal Lector. That's good, because I want to keep my liver.

I got 9 out 10, but the I missed was a programmer turned killer, so that is technically a bad question :croc:

Just throwing this out there....

Is Terri wearing a life vest?

http://i53.tinypic.com/287gi05.jpg

You mean like body armor? A lot of people speculated that.
If you use the 'img' tags, the pic will show in your post (you may have not wanted it there, but in case!)

I think she is.

Unless Houze had some connections with Victoria's Secret to construct Terri with a customized V-Cut Bullet Proof Body Armour that exposed a good chunk of her chest area...I doubt it.
jmo ;)
Yep I gotta agree with mia..that unless someone has recently designed{lol..love the VS reference}a new "womens" bustier(boos-tya')
bullet proof vest...I don't see her having one on..

{added: but I've seen many ask this question}

  • #134
Then what is that hard line just under her bustline? That is what looks suspicious. And it wouldn't surprise me if Houze got her a vest just to shore up his "DEATH THREATS!" statement and elicit sympathy for his client.

Hot diggity dog! I totally missed SurfieTX above post.. And will gladly admit when I am wrong..

{I think thats about as close to a bullet proof bustier that we'll ever see..lol}..I'm impressed!

Yep! sure does look like it'd work to me...

  • #137
Yep, I think she was wearing one as well. I guess they were afraid with all the "death threats" that she has gotten and felt the need to protect her. GMAB. ~JMO~

Later, when the casket arrived, the widow removed her wedding ring and slipped it onto the President's finger. She told aide Ken O'Donnell, "Now I have nothing left."[35]

After the president's death, she refused to remove her blood-stained clothing, and regretted having washed the blood off her face and hands. She continued to wear the blood-stained pink suit as she went on board Air Force One and stood next to Johnson when he took the oath of office as President. She told Lady Bird Johnson, "I want them to see what they have done to Jack."[38]

She spent a year in mourning,[43] making few public appearances; during this time, Caroline told one of her teachers that her mother cried frequently.[44][45]

But mostly, the people who knew Jackie said that she was the epitome of grace and courage. There truly is no comparison between Terri Moulton Horman and Jacqueline Bouvier Kennedy.

Thank you.

Thank you.

Thank you. Hitting the button just wasn't enough, IMO.

"His coat and backpack were still at school."
:waitasec:
This comment has always seemed "off" to me, and it just dawned on me WHY...
TH KNEW that his jacket and backpack were still at school. If she had left him there, and he had wandered off, or been lured out of the school by a stranger, he might have taken his coat, and possibly his backpack (depending on the circumstances/ruse used to lure him away), yet TH knew this was not the case. She knew this because she knew that Kyron left the school without those items. In essence, she knew they were still there to "prove" she had left him there because she knew she had left them for that very reason when she removed him. Had she truly left Kyron at school with these items, as she claimed, and he had subsequently been abducted, she would not have known that he did not take either item with him when he went wherever he went. Does that make ANY sense?
