Father asked two neighbors if he saw her around 8:45 PM. He said he thought she was probably at a neighbor's house watching cartoons.

If they didn't know the body fell out...how was the tarp still covering the entire body? It just seems kind of odd that the body falls out, and the tarp falls out to, perfectly on top of the body. I'm not saying it's not possible, just that you would think the tarp would be off a bit, and part of the little girl's body would be in open view. Or even that the little girl would be on top of the tarp instead.

Some articles say she was under it, some say she was wrapped in it. We don't know exactly how it was when she was found, or how much things had been messed with by the time the photos we've seen were taken.

Chopper 8 is in the air over the area a mile away. ( i think the reporter is being kept a mile away from the scene) They're processing a black compact car in the street for something. FBI evidence recovery team spent several hours in the home of the little girl.

John Smith on tv :( ( oh man, the younger one looks so scared and freaked out )
White plastic bag over her head.
Residents are crying and bringing over bears and flowers to the sight.

OH these cars are in the driveway of her HOME, so they probs belong to her parents or family. :|
LE has been going inside the house with boxes.
Saginaw LE is lead agency, with FBI assisting.
Still BOLO for the red truck.

If the tarp was wrapped around the body, and fastened somehow around the tarp, such as rope, tape ect.. the body would stay in the tarp even after falling out of the truck imhoo

LE in an article from the Daily Mail stated they think she fell out. I hate going where I'm going to go, so.....I'm thinking the person driving the truck had an "oh crap" moment when they got to a dump site and realized they better play dumb and report her missing asap.

IMO and basing this on what little I know. I hope I am wrong.

If she fell out I wonder if whoever did this went in the residential area trying to avoid cameras on main streets. Trying get to that area with a bunch of trees not far from where her body was found. Wonder if that area is still trees like google map has or if they built that area up.
I have only been to Saginaw twice and both those times were to go to Walmart (not near where she was found) so not sure if they have cameras and where they are located.

We have not gone that way since construction started and made it "HE double hockey sticks" to travel anywhere around here.

The tarp was a very large stiff-looking tarp--like the size that would cover an entire car or something. One of the early news links shows the tarp laying wadded up in the road. A small body could easily be in the middle of the tarp. It was not neatly rolled and folded. It was too much tarp for the small body to come out of.

Local news says they have identified the child, are currently searching the family home and car, and will not release identity until after the autopsy on Tuesday.

All sources are local Dallas/Fort Worth news stations.

In one of the articles upstream where the 18 yr old boy is speaking, he said they tried to ' move the tarp to the trash' ( apparently because it was in the way and they were scootering around, and trying to keep the street clean ie: good kids ) So if you imagine they tried to move it, then you can imagine what may have happened next :( The boys disturbed it a little bit on accident. mooo

IMO - BBM doesn't necessarily mean he didn't know. Lots of parents involved in the abduction/harm/murder pretend to search for their missing child, knowing people would wonder why they didn't.

I'm not trying to blame the parents. I swear... Just adding to the conversation!

I understand and agree. I'm trying to give the family benefit of the doubt. BUT CNN reporting there was in fact DECOMP and now the LE searching vehicles in the driveway of her home are making that more difficult.

The hair on a body will look to be in great or even pristine shape on a decomposing body. It may have been in braids or something in it girly.

I also thought she had a white plastic bag on her head. So how did he see the hair? He took the bag off her head? JMO

I read that he saw hair poking out from the bag.

I'm glad Texas has the death penalty.

“At first, I just thought it was some rubber stuff at first, and then I got a closer look and all I saw was a bag and I saw some hair sticking out and so, I was like, ‘Oh my God! It’s a girl!’ And that’s when I dropped to my knees and just started crying,” said 18-year-old John Smith.

Witnesses also said the girl was naked, had her hands and feet bound together and a bag over her head.

This makes sense for why she was in an intersection and it also leads me to believe this red truck has no tailgate , right? It would have to be very bumpy terrain otherwise and it's clearly not, so I'm imagining the truck flew around the corner at a stop sign.

Possibly the speed of the truck was what drew attention to it by the residents?

Just a thought...

I think if it was a predator, it's someone who was living in the neighborhood. They abducted the girl, murdered her at their house, and then while driving somewhere to dump the body, it fell out. From following cases, it seems that a lot of times, the murderer and victim live pretty close to each other.

Neighbors say that when the father came to their house, he said he thought she might be watching cartoons. He didn't seem worried she was abducted. Now, it doesn't sound like this little girl had much supervision. So maybe she was just playing outside, walking somewhere on her own, and was abducted?
