I am so very conflicted on this case. I know I post a lot of stuff. I am trying to objectively weigh the facts. My thoughts shift around though. I want to see the blood test and toxicology results of both involved. Those may finally push me off the fence.

Interesting point of view. Me? I don't care what the toxicology shows for either one of them. I can't think of any reason why his should matter. And it doesn't matter to me if she was stone cold sober or high on drugs, either way, she killed an innocent man in his home and should be charged with murder because she intentionally shot him to kill him---and she did.
She may have gone to the wrong apt unintentionally but she didn't shoot him unintentionally. Said so herself.

I haven't relentlessly perused Facebook to see if any of the several residents there posting have stated the garage was full on her level that night, but, I know I read some of them stating to the affect 'that if you come in around 10 pm, you may not find parking on your level.'

Ya'd think, driving to her level and then thinking to herself, "damnit no parking so I gotta go to the 4th..." had she been in control of her faculties.

To me, the fact that Amber parked on the wrong garage floor is weird in itself. I mean, how could she not notice the floor number signs as she is drove up the parking structure. And it's not as though Amber had just moved in to that apartment complex. She had already lived there a month. Bizarre.

A DUI is often bargained down to reckless driving although many states' legislative bodies have passed laws expressly forbidding the practice and some courts have held this isn't to be done.

Therefore, had SHE been impaired, wouldn't it be a higher grade crime than just simple manslaughter?

I think I mentioned this last night about her parking in the garage after a long shift. Parking may have been full on her floor, so she may have parked on 4 because of that. But that would be something that she would remember. Think about it after a long shift, no parking would piss me off.. or least I always get pissed when parking isn't near my place lol

For me there is too much misinformation and missing information to form an opinion as to what happened, or as to what charge(s) AG should be facing at this point in time. The story of her entering the wrong apartment and thinking it was her own, does not make sense to me, but none of the other theories as to why she would knowingly enter his apartment make sense to me either. I have seen some suggest that maybe she used a "pass key" to enter his apartment, but what would be the reason for that? Does anyone really think that she entered his apartment with the intention of killing him? Others have suggested that she went to confront him about the loud music, and he opened the door. This seems plausible, but if he opened the door for her, how is it that he was apparently 12-15 feet from the door when he was shot. And if he did open the door for her, and during the confrontation she drew her firearm and shot him, why make up the story about going to the wrong apartment by mistake, instead of just claiming self-defense? Hopefully truth and justice are forthcoming.

If they were in the same position, would they want to be labeled as a “killer”, if it was truly an accident? Until this goes to trial (if it does), we’re not gonna know what really happened. So to automatically assume she’s this stone cold blooded killer, I feel is wrong.

A Texas attorney would need to do that. The attorneys representing Mr Jean's family are not licensed to practice in Texas.

We all make mistakes but when one's mistake involves killing an innocent man you can't just say "Oops---sorry, I made a mistake" You have to held accountable for those kinds of 'mistakes' and pay your price to society.

“Vaporize”? Umm wrong. Even if you delete something, social media or something off of your computer, it’s still there. And it’ll come out. Maybe she deleted it all because of comments people were making on them? Or people who are trying to find out EVERYTHING WRONG that has gone on in her life? I’d delete mine too!

If you kill somebody, you are, by definition a killer irrespective of blood temperature. It is really simple, she is a killer.

I’m not saying she shouldn’t be held responsible for what happened. See my very first post in this thread. WE don’t know what went on inside of her head the moment she saw his shadow coming towards her. Maybe she DID fear for her life? We simply DONT KNOW. But some of the labels I’ve been people put on her, I feel are jumping the gun.

Additionally, unless you are LEO or person in a position of power, you'd have never left that scene except to be booked and processed.

Click on the thumbnail to view most recent Google Earth imagery. A resident there stated the windows in his apartment overlooked the courtyard and she didn't say pool.

I believe the floor plan and layout is online and if you can't find them to determine where his place actually is relative to the overhead, I'll look although I think I posted links to them in #2.

This is super helpful actually because yesterday, I put them in a different place because I only seen the "pool" and thought that is what she meant by courtyard. But you maybe right about this one. I couldn't find a updated view for the life of me, so I walked around the whole building, or shall I say "scroll" lol. The only thing I would like to point out, is a post that I seen on facebook, where she was following the blood trail, so I thought that it was the right place. Do you know which video I am speaking of? It was painful to watch because all of misinformation that she said in it. I know we can't link it but good walk through following blood but I had to mute it. ;p

No. They aren't practicing in TX. At this point they are more like spokespersons for the family that happen to be attorneys. If they need to take action, they will bring in an attorney licensed in TX.
