This case is making me question my sanity more than I usually do.

It is like a brand new case to review every day! Reminds me of playing "Candyland" with my little daughter. The rules "change" at will. But, she is four.


No, I am raging angry now. Not just this case but this case started it.

I want to know how you can fumble with a key when an door is slightly ajar. It would seem the door would move away from you or if you are holding the knob with one hand and the key with another you would notice the door moving. I don’t buy this story.

On the other hand, does she have a SO that she thought was keeping her out of the apartment? Hmmm.

The mayor of Dallas and an outspoken councilman have been in a war of words in the aftermath of the shooting death of a man by an off-duty Dallas police officer.

Finger pointing and criticism has swirled around this case since the beginning and debate over the possible charges have raged in public, in private and among city leaders.

Kingston is critical of how the city and the police department handled the shooting death of Botham Jean.

Without citing sources Kingston posted on his Facebook page Sunday, "… DPD called a judge on Friday who told them he would not sign a warrant for manslaughter... But would sign a warrant for murder." that, he claims, "… threw DPD into a tailspin... The decision was made to hand the investigation over to the Texas Rangers, who DPD says told them to stop seeking any warrant."

Kingston concluded by saying he was "… hearing that the Rangers don't want the case and aren't working it - leaving precisely no one in charge."

That doesn't make ANY sense if she thought it was an intruder. That's absurd. So she wants the intruder to open up? Why not call the cops?

That could make sense for the open up or let me in... but then why shoot? When she realized it wasn't the person she thought it was? I just can't imagine being so confident I knew what I was doing. That's why I'd never be a cop.

Interesting choice of words. I might have used more colorful ones.
"Who are you and why are you in my apartment?"
"What are you doing in my apartment?"
"Why did you shoot me?"

I wonder if that's consistent with the autopsy?
Would he have been able to say anything? Or was he killed instantly?
If a witness heard him say this then surely a witness would have heard her tell him to show his hands...

The report I saw says the door was unlocked. Didn't say anything about it being ajar.

That's why I immediately wonder if it can be disproved by the autopsy...

I can also see why neither apartment would be particularly distinctive. A single man in one and a single woman recently moved into another. It's likely that neither one was highly decorated. I can actually see how she could think it was her apartment.

It's the rug, apartment number and shooting in the dark that I can't grasp...

for me it is the bright red rug

you have to look down to put a key

or turn a knob

it was not dark in the hallway

is the main pic of her her mugshot or a stock one or whatever

If it is true that he was able to talk after she shot him and all she did was pace up and down the hallway without trying to help him, she should be charged with murder.

Really nice, she lives in the same apartment building as Guyger, she must feel really safe! I wonder if Guyger can be evicted, I wouldn't want her as a renter there any longer, the other residents wouldn't feel safe. And Guyger is probably not safe now either.

What makes me really angry, is I would like to know how long she is eligible for administrative leave with pay. How many of you could kill someone and get paid to stay home with full pay for months on end?
