Yes it would make logical sense that Brenda's heavy-duty home safe could have contained these things, but AFAIK neither Brenda's sister or LE have mentioned the contents of the safe. All we know is that the safe was reported missing shortly after Brenda disappeared.

@MimosaMornings Brenda was reportedly last seen at her business, Alltex Coring, on 8 April, 2020. In this MP case she is the only person officially listed as 'missing'.

According to several posts from her sister DM on the Where is Brenda Matissen FB group, Brenda's live-in BF has also disappeared, however IIRC he disappeared sometime later, after Brenda's disappearance. There are several rumors regarding his disappearance, but I've seen no official LE or MSM sources discussing this.

This would have taken a while, with multiple people. LE didn’t respond to any alarms at either her home or her business? Multiple people would have been needed to drive all the equipment at the business plus move a heavy duty safe(wall safe or bolted to the floor) at her home. If you’re not paying people in cash why the need for a heavy duty safe at home.

These are all good points to consider, and I have many similar questions. IMO, in order to remove a large, heavy-duty safe from a home it would likely take more than one person. Same with the Alltex vehicles and heavy-duty construction equipment. It would likely take several people, and a fair amount of time, to remove a fleet of vehicles, as well as the tools and the heavy concrete equipment. The only official reports I've seen are similar to this statement from the Charley Project case file:

[...]
After her disappearance, her heavy-duty equipment, tools, company vehicles and backup computer hard drivers were stolen from the business.
[...]

Charley Project link

Again, many questions regarding her disappearance but very few answers.

My guess is that all the equipment is either...

1. Resting at the bottom of a lake or the Gulf of Mexico. (Highly unlikely given the dollar value.)
2. Altered to include new serial and/or VIN numbers, registration tags, titles, company signage, etc. and is being used by a new or previously established concrete company somewhere in the U.S.
(Somewhat unlikely due to the volume of vehicles and equipment which would likely increase the potential for red flags with the state.)
3. Taken across the border by someone(s) who had an interest in starting a new concrete business. (Most likely depending on vehicle/equipment ownership and registration requirements in Mexico.)

Where are AllTex Coring and Sawing's business records from the time period when Brenda disappeared? Is there a way to identify the various job sites where crew were working during the month of April 2020? If so, perhaps LE need to get warrants to use ground penetrating radar concrete imaging technology at these worksites.

I wonder how well Brenda's ex and bf knew each other. I am also curious why neither of them seem to be making any appeals about finding Brenda. It would be interesting to know the length of Brenda's relationships with each of them and their relationship with each other, if any.

@YaYa_521 thank you for the input and ideas mentioned here. You've provided quite a few possible scenarios. Hopefully LE has researched these possibilities as well, but with limited LE budgets and personnel we can't be sure.

This week will mark two years since Brenda Matissen was last seen. I did a quick check of Arlington media websites but found no mention of Brenda's disappearance.

A few months ago I saw a satellite photo of the Alltex Coring business location in Arlington, and there were a significant number of white-colored company vehicles parked there, probably 20 or more of them. I do not know when that photo was actually taken, it could have been several years old, but the takeaway for me is that there were a significant number of Alltex vehicles at the business site. There was also a large storage building on the property, so no way to tell what may have been inside that. For all of these vehicles to be stolen/missing would indicate someone had a detailed, well planned operation, with likely several people involved.

Also, Brenda's personal pickup truck was being repaired at the time she disappeared. That vehicle is also missing.

Add to this the theft of the heavy-duty safe and all of the security cameras from Brenda's home, and it becomes clear this was a coordinated, well-planned action.

Regarding the Alltex business and financial records, AFAIK most of that has been kept internal. I have not seen any mention of those in either the public FB group of MSM reports. That would be one of the many questions to ask Brenda's sister if she joined WS as an insider.

Also, it would be very helpful to have some statements from Brenda's office staff regarding activities at her business location just before she disappeared. As mentioned in previous posts, Brenda had several admin people working with her daily at Alltex, but so far I've never seen any statements from them.

I wonder how well Brenda's ex and bf knew each other. I am also curious why neither of them seem to be making any appeals about finding Brenda. It would be interesting to know the length of Brenda's relationships with each of them and their relationship with each other, if any.
I do not know how well Brenda's live-in BF and her daughter's father knew each other. Again, another question that Brenda's sister would have to answer. However, her sister DM (an admin on the public FB group) has said several times that Brenda was never married to the father of her daughter, and Brenda would not approve of him moving into her home. See the link below for DM's comments on this:

FB link

In the same posting she mentions that Brenda's live-in BF has "disappeared". I have multiple questions about that statement, but I've seen nothing official from MSM, LE, or any admin posts on the FB group about his disappearance or current location.

Two years after she was last seen we still have a significant amount of missing information regarding Brenda's disappearance.

Perhaps a missing poster for the boyfriend needs to be put out since he has been missing for two years also?
Might jog someone’s memory and lead to a clue to find Brenda.
There are more people involved with that much equipment suddenly POOF and gone.

@MimosaMornings I agree, one person acting alone probably could not have done all of this. MOO, but this appears to be a well-planned operation of some kind.

Brenda disappears, then her home safe and security system goes missing, then her fleet of vehicles and company assets disappears, plus her personal truck vanishes.

We know per the admin posts on the FB group that Brenda's live-in BF is missing ("disappeared" is the work Brenda's sister used), however it's not clear exactly how long after Brenda's disappearance that he disappeared/went missing.

I first heard of her disappearance when I came across Brenda's NamUs profile. My research led me to the FB group where I was finally able to get more info. I couldn't then and still can't believe there is NOTHING in MSM and NOTHING from LE, besides the NamUs profile, presuming LE, rather than a private citizen, entered her case. o_O I don't doubt LE is operating on a limited budget and is severely understaffed and overworked; however, those can't be used as excuses for what looks like a lack of investigatory effort. Arlington PD should contact the TX Rangers, the FBI, and possibly even Interpol to help investigate the whereabouts of Brenda and her belongings. If APD asks for and receives the assistance, then staffing and their budget wouldn't be issues anymore. Brenda and her family deserve better.

What if someone has seen Brenda in another state or in Mexico? Great! Case closed. That would be the best outcome ever. However, the alternative and more likely scenario is what concerns me. What if Brenda did not leave on her own? :( What if there are witnesses who saw or heard details about some dirty dealings or foul play against Brenda? What if there are people who know or can help investigators figure out where Brenda and all her belongings and equipment went? What if? What if? What if? I could go on and on about what folks might know, but LE likely won't find out any of it if potential witnesses don't know she's been reported missing out of Arlington, TX.

You're right, @Dargon335, we can't be sure what's happening behind the scenes, but we know what is not happening, and it's glaringly obvious and on center stage. LE have not made any public appeals for information about Brenda's disappearance. None! Not. Even. One. That right there makes me wonder if they're doing anything at all with Brenda's case.

Two years tomorrow...

@YaYa_521 I agree with your comments here. Without some media attention or more information from LE, I believe Brenda's MP case will simply fade away.

With the large number of new MP cases, and the LE/media attention associated with them, many of these older cases are forgotten and go 'cold'. If Arlington PD is actively working this case they are being very quiet about it.

The only current source of reliable information that I know of are the admin posts on the "Where is Brenda Matissen" FB group. I looked a few days ago at Arlington/Dallas TV station websites and found no references to Brenda Matissen. With this being the two-year anniversary of her disappearance I would hope local TX media would at least mention this case.

Google Maps

The link above shows the Alltex Coring and Sawing business location, which has been closed for nearly two years. I believe this is the last place Brenda was seen.

If I am reading the map caption correctly, this image is current (2022). There appear to be a few of the white Alltex vehicles visible in this image. In earlier images of this location there were many more vehicles visible.

I've reviewed some earlier posts here on WS and comments on the Where is Brenda Matissen FB group. As previously mentioned, Brenda's live-in BF (I'm not using his name as he is not mentioned as an official POI at this time) has disappeared and cannot be located according to Brenda's sister DM.

Also interesting to note that earlier in this thread both YaYa_521 and I mentioned that Brenda's Google Maps profile contained 15 photos.

As of January, 2022, the last photo posted there was of a man, possibly in this mid-late 30's (MOO) with dark hair and glasses, and the caption "Lying cheating abusive mean jerk" right below it. I don't know for certain whether that was a photo of her live-in BF, but it is interesting to note that when I looked yesterday the photo of this man had been removed. All the other photos of the Alltex vehicle in Brenda's GoogleMaps profile were still there.

Just wondering why only the photo of this man would be removed, but the other photos were left intact?

Also, who would have access to Brenda's GoogleMaps account? Logically it would have to be someone close to her who knows her account passwords. She's been missing for two years this week, and yet someone has made changes to her Google account during the last few months, removing only the photo and caption of this man. Very interesting.
Interesting that a DuckDuckGo.com search for Brenda's name pulled up a review "she" left for PCS Bail Bonds. It's dated Apr 22, 2020 which is after the date she was last seen. I found her GoogleMaps profile she used to make 11 reviews. The 15 photos from May 2019 are interesting, especially the Tin Cup Drive one titled " Lying cheating abusive mean jerk". MOO

Very interesting! It's yet another perplexing detail. Can this case get any more baffling? o_O

If I were the lead investigator, I'd contact Google to determine the steps necessary to figure out who accessed the account, when, and, if possible, the location from where it was accessed. IANAL but IMO, it seems there is enough evidence of foul play in Brenda's disappearance to get a warrant to access her Google account.

Where's Brenda, her belongings and Alltex's missing equipment?

I’m perplexed how the bio father so easily moved into Brenda’s house?
Why not move her into his home?
Especially since the home had been so destructively vandalized by unknown persons?
I would feel weird as heck taking possession of my ex’s house unless there was legal paperwork in place.
This is a strange case.

@MimosaMornings agreed, this is a complicated case. Not only is this a two-year-old MP case but it also involves both Brenda's business and personal assets.

As Yaya_521 mentioned, the lack of case information released by Arlington PD, combined with virtually no reports from MSM, leaves many information gaps in this case.

There are many questions in Brenda's case, but with the minimal facts available the only option here is to review the available information and speculate what may have happened. There are many comments/observations/questions on the Where is Brenda Matissen FB group, but many of the posts are by non-admin members, and therefore unusable here on WS: Where Is Brenda Matissen

Really the only way to get info on her case is look at Facebook or the two sources above. I can't find ANY news articles from any newspaper, radio or TV station. I find that VERY odd.
Yes, I completely agree. The lack of MSM attention in this case is very strange. Brenda has been missing two years this week, but there are no media references that I could find about her disappearance. Most unusual.

Can someone contact local media to see if there are interested in a story? Maybe this would put more interest in this case? JMO

I think it would be helpful to have a missing flyer plastered everywhere for the missing boyfriend.

I've considered doing so, but since I'm not a family member and have no direct involvement in Brenda's case I'm not sure whether this is a good idea, or whether it would violate the WS TOS in some way.

I did look at local TV station websites earlier this month but saw nothing about the two-year anniversary of her disappearance. As YaYa_521 mentioned earlier, media reports about Brenda's case have been basically nonexistent since she disappeared, which is very curious IMO.
