As I mentioned a couple of weeks ago, I find it very interesting that one photo has recently been deleted from Brenda's GoogleMaps account. Quoting myself:

I don't know for certain whether that was a photo of her live-in BF, but it is interesting to note that when I looked yesterday the photo of this man had been removed. All the other photos of the Alltex vehicle in Brenda's GoogleMaps profile were still there.

Since we know for a fact that photo was there in January, 2022, and was deleted sometime before April, 2022, then someone must have accessed Brenda's GoogleMaps account and removed this one photo, leaving the other photos intact. The big question is: who would have removed this photo?

I believe the only two options are that Brenda herself, or another person with access to her GoogleMaps account, removed that one photo of this man with the caption "Lying cheating abusive mean jerk" right below it.

Brenda has not been seen or heard from since 8 April, 2020, so it's unlikely she logged in and deleted this photo. Therefore, someone else with access to her account passwords, probably deleted this one photo. MOO

@LouLou74 I have seen references to both of these documents. The first one is a small claims type of action. I have heard references to the second one, but I do not know for sure if this is the Brenda Matissen in question. I have not seen any official admin/family references to this on the "Where is Brenda Matissen" FB group but there's a lot of content there so it's possible I've not seen it.

Some people have referenced it, but it quickly gets deleted. It appears to be the same person. Same first, middle, and last name. The name Matissen is not that common in the US.

I've reviewed some earlier posts here on WS and comments on the Where is Brenda Matissen FB group. As previously mentioned, Brenda's live-in BF (I'm not using his name as he is not mentioned as an official POI at this time) has disappeared and cannot be located according to Brenda's sister DM.

Also, who would have access to Brenda's GoogleMaps account? Logically it would have to be someone close to her who knows her account passwords. She's been missing for two years this week, and yet someone has made changes to her Google account during the last few months, removing only the photo and caption of this man. Very interesting.

If you save your passwords on Google Password Manager, or similar app, anyone that has you phone or computer can log in to your accounts. Has it been mentioned whether her phone is missing?

@NanZDrew welcome to the discussion. From the Charley Project case summary we know her company cell phone is missing.

Her personal truck was in the repair shop at the time of her disappearance, and after she was last seen her company cellular phone, purse and other belongings could not be located.

On the "Where is Brenda Matissen FB group, her sister (group admin) said: "Her company cell phone(s), purse and other personal belongings were not found in her home or at the business location."

Unfortunately we have no verified insiders here on WS to confirm this or provide more detailed information, but based on what Brenda's sister said it seems logical to assume that any phones or personal computers Brenda may have had probably disappeared around the time she went missing.

Since Brenda has not been seen or been in contact with her family in over two years, it seems unlikely that Brenda herself logged in to her Google Maps profile page sometime between January and April of this year and deleted the one photo of a man with the caption "Lying cheating abusive mean jerk". MOO

Unfortunately there are many significant information gaps in Brenda's MP case. AFAIK we don't have any verified insiders here on WS, so trying to determine what actually happened in Brenda case is part fact and part speculation.

Arlington PD hasn't released many facts regarding her disappearance so local media and the general public have very little reliable information. I don't recall seeing any requests for assistance from the public from the Arlington PD.

When looking at this case using only the available facts, it's unclear exactly what happened regarding Brenda's disappearance. A good summary of her case can be found here:

We know she was last seen by co-workers at her business, Alltex Coring and Sawing in Arlington TX, on 8 May, 2020. Brenda has not been seen or heard from since that time. Shortly after she was last seen, her personal safe and security system were stolen from her residence, and many Alltex company assets (vehicles, tools, etc.) were reported stolen from her business. AFAIK, none of these items have been recovered.

There are some additional facts available there from Brenda's sister, and I've referenced some of them earlier in this thread. There are other posts on the FB group that are interesting to read but cannot be used here on WS, since the individuals posting those comments are not FB group admins and their comments cannot be verified as being accurate.

I looked at the 'Where Is Brenda Matissen' public FB group but found nothing new regarding Brenda's disappearance.

The lack of media attention in Brenda's case is curious. With no statements from Arlington PD it's difficult to know if this is an active investigation or a cold case. Hopefully LE is keeping Brenda's family updated.

As mentioned, there are a many significant information gaps in Brenda's disappearance. When you look at the case carefully there are a number of questions that have not been addressed publicly by MSM or LE.

For example, all of the case files (NamUs, Charley Project, etc.) indicate that both a large, heavy safe and the security system hard drives were removed from Brenda's home around the time she disappeared, however AFAIK there has been no mention of a forced entry into her home.

I've seen nothing from MSM or LE indicating a door was kicked in, windows broken, etc. The question is, did someone unknown to Brenda forcibly break into her home and remove these items, or did someone known to Brenda, with existing access to her home, remove these items? If someone unknown to Brenda forcibly entered her home, would they know about the contents of the home safe and also the security system?

Another question that hasn't been discussed publicly is what took place on April 8, 2020, the day Brenda was last seen. The Charley Project link above states: "Matissen was last seen by one of her employees at the concrete business she owned, Alltex Coring and Sawing in the 700 block of Spring Miller Court in Arlington, Texas, on April 8, 2020."

No other details have been publicly released AFAIK. It would be helpful to know how Brenda was acting that day, what her emotional state was at that time, or if Brenda or others around her said or did anything suspicious. Being the owner of Alltex Coring and Sawing, its logical to assume she interacted with multiple employees that day. Did anyone around her notice anything suspicious? I haven't seen any information released to the public about this.

I'm also curious to know what happened to the photo of the man with the caption "Lying cheating abusive mean jerk" in Brenda's Google maps profile. As mentioned earlier in this thread, that photo was included in Brenda's Google Map photos, along with others showing what appears to be a company vehicle. The photos of the vehicle were still available as of a few months ago, but the photo of the man was removed by someone earlier this year.

Question: How and why would the one photo of this man be deleted from Brenda's Google Maps page?

There are many other questions that could be asked in this case. Hopefully at some point LE or MSM will release additional details regarding Brenda's disappearance.

There are some additional posts from Brenda's sister as of last month, however, the majority of the comments and posts are opinions and theories from non-family members so they cannot be used here on WS.

I come back here and check every now and then, but I haven't looked at the FB account for months. It is amazing that there is so little in the media and almost nothing from LE. It sounds like she has two men in her life, a current boy friend and an ex-boy friend, and there is nothing from either of them.

Agreed, there's not much recent news available to the public regarding Brenda's disappearance. MOO, but it's possible that Brenda's family and local LE have more information regarding the case than has been released so far.

At the time Brenda disappeared she had a live-in BF. The other man is the biological father of Brenda's daughter.

There has been very little information released to the public about these men so we're missing many details in this area. We can certainly hope, and would expect, the Arlington PD has interviewed both of these individuals during the course of this investigation.

Without a VI here on WS we don't have much information other than what has already been discussed.

Several people have asked that I share updates here.

These are some of the updates in Brenda's case as reported by Brenda's sister (group admin) during the last few days on the public 'Where Is Brenda Matissen' FB group (link posted below).

Note: Some of this information comes from Brenda's sister responding to questions, so her responses below come from several different posts on that FB group.

• Brenda's live-in BF, who was the last person to see her alive, is now deceased.
• Her BF left with work with her on 7 April 2020, she has not been heard from since.
• Her BF did not assist Brenda's family with the search.
• Brenda's BF was abusive, and this was reported to police.

• The police never entered Brenda’s residence to investigate her disappearance.
• Her home security cameras and hard drives were ripped out of the walls.
• Blood was found on the floor.
• All of her clothes and beauty products were found in her residence.
• Brenda was getting her home ready to sell and a rental property fixed up.
• After she went missing, four or five Hispanic men were seen by two witnesses leaving Brenda’s house.

• A private investigator hired by Brenda's family dropped the case before finishing the investigation.

• The biological father of Brenda's daughter moved in to Brenda's home six months after she went missing.
• Brenda and the biological father did not get along and were involved in an ugly custody battle.
• Her family does not know how he (biological father of her daughter) obtained rights to take over her personal and business property.
• Brenda would never have wanted him living in her home.
• The biological father of her daughter has never helped look for Brenda.
• Brenda's personal vehicle (2002 Chevy Avalanche) was in the shop getting transmission work at the time of her disappearance and was never actually missing.

Yes that is correct. AFAIK neither person has been listed by LE as a POI in her disappearance, so I have not used their names in this post.
