Based on this new information from Brenda's sister I believe many new questions could be asked in this case.

IMO it would be helpful to know the current status of this investigation with the Arlington PD.

I find it both interesting and concerning that police declined to enter Brenda's home, even when requested by Brenda's family, especially given the reported conditions inside the home. If this is an active case then Arlington PD may not be able to provide detailed information, however some type of update from them could be helpful here.

Yes that is correct. AFAIK neither person has been listed by LE as a POI in her disappearance, so I have not used their names in this post.

Some people have referenced it, but it quickly gets deleted. It appears to be the same person. Same first, middle, and last name. The name Matissen is not that common in the US.

I noticed the date of the infractions is in 2019, before she went missing. Have any court appearances been kept?

Details of his (live-in BF) death are unclear AFAIK. I've spent some time reviewing MSM sites but have found no direct references to his death as of yet.

I thought that was a mistake. How did you find out? In the Dallas Morning News there was an article about it. He was at a bar with a married couple and he got upset and left on foot. The couple jumped in their truck, drove up to him and shot him in the head at 1:00 a.m.on November 5.

Looks like Dallas got the wrong folks on that one. Of course the couple's truck was in the area - It happened a couple blocks from where the 3 were drinking. Turns out the couple they arrested were still in the bar when the guy was shot... later drove by the crime scene when they were leaving the bar... therefor showing up on the plate reader and "being in the vicinity". SMH Turns out there's more than one black pickup truck in Dallas.

Brenda was last seen at her business location in Arlington, Texas on 4-8-2020 with her live-in boyfriend. He is unable to be located at this time.

Brenda's daughter was not with her at the time she disappeared.

Brenda is the sole owner and main operator of her concrete sawing company "Alltex Coring and Sawing". Her heavy duty equipment, tools, company vehicles and computer back up hard drives have been stolen from the business location. The whereabouts of these items are unclear at this time.

We do not know what vehicle she was driving and/or riding in or how she left the location. We were able to find out that her personal truck was in the mechanic shop at the time of her disappearance.
Her company cell phone(s), purse and other personal belongings were not found in her home or at the business location.

Brenda is the sole owner of her home in Arlington, Texas. She had an elaborate inside and outside home security system. The camera's mounted hard drives and backup system were pulled out from the wall. A large heavy duty safe is also missing from her home.

On October 1st, 2020 Brenda's daughter's father obtained his own access and moved into her home.
The police department has not entered Brenda's home or her business shop office since she disappeared.
The current status of Brenda's disappearance remains a missing person case.

Just to clarify for WS members unfamiliar with the case, Brenda's 'live-in BF' is deceased, as discussed earlier in this thread. AFAIK his name hasn't been used as a POI regarding Brenda's disappearance so I won't use it here.

I think I do follow this case via the official missing page on FB. It's the one where the same guy posts, "I am praying for Brenda Matissen family...." with the same exact prayer/text every few days for YEARS.

Correct. That person has been posting there as long as I can remember.

Brenda's sister is still active in that FB group so I continue to check in there in case of updates.

Yes this case is both curious and frustrating.

I agree, for whatever reason the Arlington PD hasn't provided much information regarding Brenda's disappearance over three years ago. AFAIK they have not formally requested public support in this case.

IMO either APD has a significant amount of information regarding her disappearance and doesn't wish to release it for some reason, or else it's such a low priority that it hasn't been worked aggressively. The admins on the Where is Brenda Matissen? FB site have repeatedly stated that LE never entered Brenda's home during their investigation:

AFAIK there's been no public explanation concerning why LE did not enter her home or business to investigate after she was reported missing. There's also no public comment from LE regarding the multiple missing vehicles and tools from Brenda's construction business:

So where is Brenda, and why has Arlington PD been so quiet regarding this case?

Per Google Maps, the former location of Brenda's business, AllTex Coring and Sawing, on Spring Miller CT in Arlington is now "Precision Underground Boring".

The person named in the link you provided is the father of Brenda's daughter. He is not the BF who was living with Brenda at the time she disappeared.

I know, thank you. Doesn't make him a man, I wouldn't suspect for anything. The live-in bf was also a certain type of man, it seems. I only know, why BM separated from him (good reasons as well).
