Thinking about Hunter taking the 5th...is it allowable by law to answer some questions and take the 5th on others? Could he have testified about his interaction with Christina that evening and the days following and then plead the 5th on other questions? I think he was already been sentenced in his drug case so there shouldn't be anything he could say that would lengthen his sentence, right?

What do others think as to why he chose not to testify?

I don't know if this has been answered yet - haven't read thread yet. But the answer is "No", in a criminal trial, a witness or the defendant either pleads the fifth and doesn't testify or waives it entirely.
