Anyone heard how the victim is doing?

Nope, not a word. I've been searching the past few days and haven't found a thing.

Im in Houston and I haven't heard any updates either.

No news is ... mediocre news!

He hasn't died, and he hasn't made a miraculous recovery - those would be covered, so he's still struggling.
I was hoping for the miraculous recovery - but to be real, those happen on TV, not in reality so much.

Me too. I keep checking, but nothing.

As Details says, he must be about the same or they'd be releasing info. :(

I keep going to his mySpace page and reading the posts that his friends put on his page. They say things like "It's good to hear you are doing better" and "I had fun with you today" and "You were smiling" etc. So, if you keep following his page, his friends will tell you how he is. :-)

Now we can only conitue to wait to find out more about the attackers, and what is going on with the investigation, trial, etc.

Teens indicted for brutal attack on Spring student

A Harris County grand jury today indicted two men for a vicious assault on a Spring teenager during a party six weeks ago.

David Henry Tuck, 18, and Keith Robert Turner, 17, both of Spring, were each indicted on one charge of aggravated sexual assault, said Harris County prosecutor Mike Trent.

SNIP:

The victim remains in the intensive care unit at Memorial Hermann Hospital, where he is showing gradual signs of improvement, Trent said. The teen is now awake, but is not yet talking, Trent said.

Suspects in brutal attack appear in court

Thursday was a difficult day for the family of the Spring teenager, brutally beaten and sodomized in April. It was the first time the victim's family has come face to face with his alleged attackers.

David Tuck, 18, and Keith Turner, 17, pleaded not guilty to charges of aggravated sexual assault. For the victim's relatives who sat and listened in the courtroom, it was a difficult thing to hear.

any update on how the victim is doing???

I think it's page 3 of this that has his myspace account. I keep looking at his friend's comments to see how he is. They say things like "I saw you smiling today... etc." So, it tells you more than the news will.

Do you mean that a high school kid can't spell? :-) I've noticed that about nearly ALL his friends. I think I will go home and drill my kid on spelling words tonight.

I was really glad she didn't get offended that a stranger was asking about him. You never know how someone will respond when you ask for information. She's a nice girl.

Thank god he has no permanent damage! I haven't stopped thinking about him and the pain he has had to endure. I will keep him in my prayers.

I read this somewhere about one of the perps and it really stood out.....

"A Klein Collins schoolmate knew Tuck as someone to avoid when angry. "He gets joy out of pain," said Jason Savage. "Pain would set him off."

Sounds like a Serial Killer in the making. They need to lick him up and throw away the key.
