TX - TX - Elizabeth Barraza, 29, murdered setting up garage sale, Harris Co, Jan 2019 #5
I agree it is not up to his usual standard.
IMO:
The dynamic range of the nest camera audio does
not sound to me to be sufficient to come to the
conclusions he came to.
He asserts that the words "you know what, it's not
worth it" can be heard - I can't discern that.
Also, (when the killer is running towards the Pro4x),
that the words "keep pressing" are heard - I don't
hear those words at all.
The shots, scream and the rev(roar) of the Pro4x
driving away are easily discerned, as you would
expect of quite loud sounds - but other 'rev' (aka
whoosh) type sounds appear to have their source from
barely audible and not understandable snatches of
sound of the conversation between killer and victim,
and possibly the sound of vehicles driving through
Sorrel Meadows Dr & Barmby Dr (next streets north).
The entrance way the nest camera is located in forms
a natural sound channel to pickup such noise.
Possibly, also the sound of some of the vehicles
proceeding at speed along Kuykendahl Rd (off to the
east, limit 45 mph) is also being caught.
This lack of clarity applies also to the question
of whether it's a male or female voice. The sound
software he utilized gives a result, but the sound
quality input is too poor (garbage sound in, garbage
result out) for me to believe the result it gives. You
might as well input a lion roaring or a monkey
screeching.
The momentary flickering of the headlights to me is
consistent in time with the expected movement of
the running killer as they ran in front of the Pro4x
to get to the drivers seat. I have difficulty with the
liklihood of any accomplice acting to be e.g. pressing
(bliping) on the accelerator.
Was there another person (accomplice) in the Pro4x?
People must come to their own conclusion based on
the visual evidence. For myself, I look closely at
the
video (i.e. timestamp 34:28). It seems too fuzzy
to discern a person - but what I do notice is a
lighter colored horizontal line. Depending on the
position of the passenger seat (fully upright or
perhaps partially reclined back) what I think I
see causing that lighter colored horizontal line
may be either light reflecting off the top of the
(leather?) seat (not headrest) or just as likely, the
line of writing that is present in the leather-seated
option of the Pro4x; (Image found at; )

If what we are seeing is the writing, that
suggests the passenger seat is in fact empty.
It may also suggest we are seeing a leather-
seated option Pro4x - however, I understand
there are seat covers purchaseable from Nissan
also with writing on them, but it is uncertain
to me what year Nissan started offering those
seat covers.
